google-latitude-1Almost forgot to share this one…

Earlier today, we announced that Google Latitude is no longer part of the Google Maps app, and we’re retiring Latitude on August 9, 2013.
This means that after August 9, your Latitude friends list will be deleted and you’ll lose the ability to share your location with them. There will also be some changes to Location Reporting and Location History, including changes to third-party applications that use Google Latitude. Please see our FAQs for more information.
We understand some of you still want to see your friends and family on a map, which is why we’ve added location sharing to Google+ for Android (coming soon to iOS).
Thank you for using Google Latitude.

Seriously, who needs “Latitude” when you have the NSA?

This is known as “Please, Please sign up for Google Plus!” As if trying to force you into it on YouTube wasn’t enough.

My private thoughts and information feel safer already. Not.

Big Bro loves you like Perdue loved his chickens. He needs to know your whereabouts and your thoughts for his good. Google has cooperated with NSA to protect you. Please be assured that everyone has something in their file, that NSA and/or its masters can use to control them. If you live a perfect life, NSA will insert some dirt, which you will deny, without effect, or your life will go nowhere. The video describes the control mechanisms used when Bush I was in office. NSA and its government masters have upgraded to a more efficient modern system. Please note that the reference in video to Andrew Cuomo refers to the time when Andrew was his governor father’s chief goon.

What do they have Boehner? Or?

They are canning it so that the government has to work harder to get your info. If you are on Latitude they can NSL your records. If not they have to go the full where were they from the phone company.
