Liberal Hate Of The Day

Progressives call everyone else every name in the book just because it feeds into their need to be superior. However, this is yet another example of their being themselves while being the very thing they claim to hate.

A western Wisconsin police chief was charged Thursday with a misdemeanor for allegedly registering a tea party leader for solicitations from gay dating, pornography and federal health care websites.

Again, the left uses “gay” as a pejorative for intended embarrassment and/or humiliation.

Town of Campbell Police Chief Tim Kelemen was charged with one count of unlawful use of a computerized communication system, which carries a maximum penalty of $1,000 in fines and 90 days in jail. Kelemen would still be able to stay on as police chief if convicted, since only those with felonies or misdemeanor convictions related to domestic violence are barred from being police officers, according to the state Department of Justice.

Kelemen’s attorney, Jim Birnbaum, said the charge isn’t fair. Kelemen did sign up La Crosse Tea Party leader Greg Luce for the sites, Birnbaum said, but he did it to get back at Luce for allegedly telling tea party supporters to harass and threaten his officers.

Sounds rather immature for a Police Chief and I thought threatening a peace officer was a felony? If what Kelemen says is true, how come he didn’t gather evidence and arrest the perpetrators… IF?

“I think it isn’t fair when the behavior of the tea party has been unchallenged and unabated,” Birnbaum said. “Then to have a charge filed against the chief because of, really, an act of frustration is unfortunate.”

For liberals the ends justify the means, anyone who can be used to further their cause of Tea Party hate is quite permissible and when they are caught, they are to be treated with sympathy and understanding (especially when they break the law) because in the eyes of the left, they meant well.

The DA, likely, did not present this to a Grand Jury. The DA has chosen to reduce the charges and used a complaint by a neighboring Sheriff to avoid a Grand Jury. The police, the DA and the Judges are all part of a self-serving cabal. The DA needs the police to give “good” testimony to get convictions and be reelected. The judge doesn’t want the police complaining about him. The DA has chosen to not prosecute to protect his cabal. Our courts and justice system are a joke.
