We all like cool, futuristic ideas, and this should be submitted to a Hollywood producer as it has all the potential for a sci-fi horror/disaster movie.
While researching atmospheric conditions for this project, we realized that there is probably a tangible height limit beyond which people would not tolerate living due to the extreme conditions. For example, while there may be a benefit to having 45 extra minutes of daylight at an elevation of 32,000 meters, the near vacuum and -40C temperature would prevent people from going outside without a protective suit.
Talk about curb appeal: a home that you can’t step outside whenever you want for some fresh air because there is none.
And you’d hope the architects over at Clouds AO would have taken the many problematic scenarios some on Facebook have shared….
