The Starbucks Unicorn Frappuccino Millennial Barista Meltdown

Full disclosure: when we do go out for coffee, we go to Panera Bread. Their coffee tastes better, their stores are bright and the atmosphere is preferable to us.

With that, we decided to go and see what this Unicorn Frappuccino at Starbucks was all about. When we pulled up to the drive through closest, there was a handwritten sign saying they were sold out of Unicorn Frappuccinos.

But were they really…?

Starbucks reportedly said in a statement they’re reaching out to Braden Burson “to talk about his experience and how to make it better.”

Sounds like a nice way of telling an immature 19-year-old it’s not a good thing go on the Internet and tell customers not to buy their product; duh!

We may give them another shot as they’re available only through Sunday.

If they’re sold out, there’s always Panera.

Don’t do it, Bob! Don’t let him do it, Laura! Those things have twice the sugar of a Coca-Cola! They’re dangerous.

Stick with the double-shot white chocolate mocha at 180 degrees. Better yet, go to Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf (if they have any there) and get one. They’re an order of magnitude better than Starbuck’s, and, though they’re from California, I haven’t seen any evidence of zany political notions.
