Charmed: Violence During Baltimore City Council ‘Gun Bill’ Hearing

The breakdown of civility was more than demonstrated during Tuesday’s Baltimore City Council hearing when what to do about the rampant gun violence was the topic of the day.

Reaching 200 homicides is a benchmark no one in Baltimore wanted. But as the city continues to track toward a record number of killings, police are noting two drastic changes already quelling violence in Charm City.

Democrats are the first to complain when any negative event is politicized but politics IS the problem in Baltimore.

Like many failed cities besieged recently by rioting, Democrats and their union pals have had carte blanche to inflict their ideas and policies on Baltimore since 1967, the last time there was a Republican Mayor.  Democrats run the city of Baltimore, the unions, the schools, and yes, the police force. Every single member of the Baltimore city council is a Democrat.

Liberalism and all the toxic government dependence and cronyism and union corruption and failed schools that comes along with it, has run amok in Baltimore for a half-century, and that is Baltimore’s problem.
Breitbart, 4/28/15

Not much has changed since 2015, and like most Democrat-run localities, things have only gotten worse.

Gun violence is a cruel symptom of the Democrat indifference that ails Baltimore and that is only one of many urban areas nationwide with the same political sickness that’s been in control for more than a couple of generations. Democrats run everything, those who are connected are the activist spokespersons we see and hear everyday, and the misery that persists in the “community” keeps those in the party’s good graces well housed and fed.

Everyone else is on their own.

No you can’t arrest your way out of this problem because it’s a cultural, rap-thug culture problem that permeates your city.
You need to deal with that, and that is what is the result of blindly following race baiting democrats for 50 years.
