Ah, how memories are conveniently short.

Around a decade ago, the left discovered and conducted what they branded #CancelCulture: a practice where people rummaged through the social media posts, videos, and quotes of those they didn’t like (in some cases, going back years) and used them for public shaming resulting in the desired loss of careers, businesses, etc.

Cancel culture (aka “canceling”) is a form of boycott that involves removing support for a person, organization, product, brand, or anything else due to an issue that a community or group disapproves of or finds offensive. It can involve a variety of actions, including boycotting or group shaming, often via social media.

The legacy media is intentionally ignoring the hundreds of liberals on social media celebrating Charlie Kirk’s murder, implying all the “toxic rhetoric” is coming from the right.

NBC News is probably quite frustrated that the right doesn’t instinctively and violently take to the streets. Many on the left have been outed by their social media posts, resulting in the loss of jobs in almost every employment sector, thus they’re now assuming victim status.

One result will most probably cause increased political desperation on the Democrat left in the very near future.

The Republican Party is seeing a “Charlie Kirk effect,” with moderate Democrats and Independents switching party affiliation at breakneck speed. Freshly emancipated former Dems told The Post they were horrified by the assassination of the 31-year-old podcaster last week — who they thought of as kind and reasonable — and further disgusted by the ghoulish celebration of his killing by many lefties.

Turning Point was flooded with over 32,000 inquiries to start new chapters in the 48 hours following Kirk’s murder, where the group had roughly 2,100 chapters before Kirk’s death.

The trend spread on social media, too, as users lighted up platforms announcing their departure from the Democrat Party.

The media may try to whitewash leftist sentiment; that’s nothing new. It’s just a really inconvenient time for them to have to do their jobs and report the truth.

Suffice to say, had an official with the Trump Administration made a comment that clearly implied the Omicron booster shot could be deadly (especially when given to children)…

… this clip wouldn’t have been virtually erased from any possibility of public view, let alone be explained away.

A video showing the head of World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, speaking about prioritizing vaccination efforts for poorer countries and more vulnerable populations over giving booster shots to children has been misconstrued online. While the scene highlighted online is authentic, users have misconstrued his message. A WHO spokesperson told Reuters the sentence was the result of a slip of the tongue.

Oh, but it didn’t stop there.

Contacted by Reuters, a WHO spokesperson said Tedros “got stuck on the first syllable [of children] ‘chil’ and it came out sounding like ‘cil/kil.’ He then correctly pronounced the same syllable immediately after, with it coming out audibly as ‘cil-children’,” the spokesperson said.

“Any other interpretation of this is 100% incorrect,” the spokesperson added.

Funny, it didn’t sound like the kind of slip of the tongue we’re used to (see Joe Biden).

Ghebreyesus’ statement was quite deliberate and given the media “fact check” and clip censorship, there’s obviously more to the known side effects of the booster than the unelected would have the public know.

If that’s the case, either multi-million dollar opinion hosts and smug journalists failed miserably at informing their consumers on important topics or they succeeded greatly in keeping them in the dark so they would vote the way they wanted, albeit via mass ignorance.

It also explains those interactions with hostiles on social media who seemingly bask in their ignorance, forcing you to divert and issue a quick review on a topic they quickly dispute because it wasn’t covered by NPR or The New York Times. They are quick to dismiss “The Big Lie” regarding the 2020 election while being genuinely clueless of almost everything pertinent leading up to it.

While there are those who are still attempting to get accurate tallies of votes and discrepancies of the 2020 election, there is an easier explanation why Donald Trump “lost” to Joe Biden and it’s based on a long-standing problems during elections: media bias and bias-by-omission. It’s more than apparent that without media biases run amok, aided greatly by Twitter, Facebook, and Google, the election would not have been nudged to Joe Biden and those who voted for him are now aware.

To measure the true effect of the media’s censorship on the election, the Media Research Center asked The Polling Company to survey 1,750 Biden voters in seven swing states (Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin), six of which (all but North Carolina) were called for Biden (survey details below). We tested these voters’ knowledge of eight news stories — all important topics that our ongoing analysis had shown the liberal news media had failed to cover properly. We found that a huge majority (82%) of Biden voters were unaware of at least one of these key items, with five percent saying they were unaware of all eight of the issues we tested.

This lack of information proved crucial: One of every six Biden voters we surveyed (17%) said they would have abandoned the Democratic candidate had they known the facts about one or more of these news stories. A shift of this magnitude would have changed the outcome in all six of the swing states won by Joe Biden, and Donald Trump would have comfortably won a second term as president.

Putting it picture form really puts the media, Big Tech interference in proper perspective.

This alone could be one reason the legacy media, while begrudgingly and belatedly, is admitting the got one little piece of information wrong during the 2020 presidential campaign. Like the New York Post story on the Hunter Biden laptop, and all the various issues contained within, that was quickly dismissed by the media and censored by social media mere weeks before ballots were to be cast.

Oops. The New York Times now admits they made a boo-boo.

The New York Post first reported this eyebrow-raising information back in October 2020, a month before the presidential election. Pro-Biden, anti-Trump journalists, including several at the Times, portrayed the Post‘s story as unsubstantiated at best. Politico reported that “more than 50 former senior intelligence officials” believed the emails had “all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.” Some journalists suggested it was reckless even to acknowledge the Post‘s report. Twitter, which initially blocked links to the article, seemed to agree. While the Times did not ignore the story, the paper’s coverage treated it with skepticism and disdain.

But that was then. A year and a half later, the Times thinks the emails it viewed as suspect before Joe Biden’s election are now newsworthy. “People familiar” with a federal investigation of Hunter Biden, it reports, “said prosecutors had examined emails” between him, his former business partner Devon Archer, “and others” regarding “Burisma and other foreign business activity.” Those emails “were obtained by The New York Times from a cache of files that appears to have come from a laptop abandoned by Mr. Biden in a Delaware repair shop.” The messages “were authenticated by people familiar with them and with the investigation.”

And don’t let the latest plague on society (the “factcheckers”) off the hook.

Fueled by a panic over misinformation, the fact-checking industry is shifting the media’s primary obligation away from pursuing the truth and toward upholding vague notions of public safety, which it gets to define. In the course of this transformation, journalists are being turned into rent-a-cops whose job is to enforce an official consensus that is treated as a civic good by those who benefit from—and pay for—its protection.

The left rarely admits to errors in judgment, let alone outright fraud, without a reason. Many of today’s younger journalists may not appreciate or even know the irony regarding “the boy who cried wolf” because Aesop was obviously a white supremacist misogynist. But in the ramp-up to what’s looking like a severe ass-whuppin’ coming Tuesday, November 8, 2022, the media will insist the American people listen to them before casting an informed vote.

After 2020, that will be a hard sell.

It could have been a slip of the tongue or his standard botching of the mother tongue while reading the teleprompter.

The media, to date, has made no mention of it….

This is yet another case of liberal media bias-by-omission because we all know if President Donald Trump slipped out the n-word and it was captured via closed caption, it would have been breaking news on February 19th and the basis for calls for his impeachment by February 20th.

But when it comes to Democrats and their liberal use of the word “nigger”, don’t ask, don’t tell.

And with good reason. We now have a classic example of bias-by-omission. In other words, if the media doesn’t report it, it never happened.

As they trumpeted “Russia, Russia, Russia”, convinced half the nation the president was a traitor and there was rampant election interference, the media is now all-in on making us believe that Joe Biden is winning the 2020 presidential election fair and square, despite what many saw and are now seeing with their own eyes.

Despite video, readily available online and defensively flagged by Big Tech, showing Republican observers being tossed from ballot counting areas to the cheers of Democrats, hundreds of dubiously-completed ballots that only have Joe Biden’s name checked arriving by the carload in the middle of the night, the media insists there’s nothing to see here.

Despite the documented voter suppression committed by the media in 2000 by premature state calling and their pledge to learn from their mistake, they did it again in 2020. We won’t even get into the barrage of pro-Joe Biden “polls” that were way off but the political manipulation was accomplished.

Despite the lack of physical proof of Trump-Russia collusion, that didn’t stop the Democrats and their media from making bold declarations of guilt constantly for the first two-plus years of the Trump administration, and continuing on even after exoneration from the Mueller special counsel team.

Despite their defensive denials, it’s also clear why the New York Post was in the social media cross-hairs long before they broke the Hunter Biden laptop scandal.

A top Democratic operative says voter fraud, especially with mail-in ballots, is no myth. And he knows this because he’s been doing it, on a grand scale, for decades.

But the political insider, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he fears prosecution, said fraud is more the rule than the exception. His dirty work has taken him through the weeds of municipal and federal elections in Paterson, Atlantic City, Camden, Newark, Hoboken and Hudson County and his fingerprints can be found in local legislative, mayoral and congressional races across the Garden State. Some of the biggest names and highest office holders in New Jersey have benefited from his tricks, according to campaign records The Post reviewed.

“An election that is swayed by 500 votes, 1,000 votes — it can make a difference,” the tipster said. “It could be enough to flip states.”

The whistleblower — whose identity, rap sheet and long history working as a consultant to various campaigns were confirmed by The Post — says he not only changed ballots himself over the years, but led teams of fraudsters and mentored at least 20 operatives in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania — a critical 2020 swing state.

In a nation the size of ours and the number of partisans who’ll do anything for a buck, it would be grossly naive to think this whistleblower is the only one ever deployed. But if chaos is what was desired, it’s been permanently installed into our election process.

Prior to the last decade full of tabulation machines and computers, people were able to count votes and states announced a winner within hours of the polls closing. The only mail-in ballots mostly came from overseas soldiers and Democrats routinely discarded them as they tended to lean Republican. But “voting irregularities”, as they’re politely termed today, were not as abundant as we’re seeing with a process that now includes, of all people, the United States Postal Service.

Voters are justifiably skeptical when it comes to election outcomes; one because of ignorance and the other for examples being uploaded to social media Big Tech and the media are squelching.

In 2016, Hillary voters were left in tears because they stupidly believed she won because of a higher popular vote total. Note the amount of media posts for morons in 2020 explaining the Electoral College process, while editorially dissing it as antiquated. But one day a Republican president may threaten to win the popular vote and Democrats will be exalting the genius of the Founders and why the Electoral College takes precedent.

In 2020, putting an election outcome partially in the hands of the Post Office would be an idea that would be written out of a comedy script purely because it would be considered way too over the top and implausible. Yet, this is what Democrats deployed and Republicans allowed to happen. If President Trump doesn’t win his challenges, we’re going to be stuck with this shit for years. Seeing how this process has benefited Democrats, that’s all it takes for their media to sanction and defend.

So, the best we can do is let this present process play out in the courts. It’ll be messy and either way, over 70 million Americans will believe they got jobbed on this election. #Resist will again be an active word and before it’s aimed at an administration, it should be focused most on those who believe it’s their job to tell Americans what to think.

The White House wisely shot their own video of the interview which actually lasted close to 40 minutes and what was left out would have given the public a totally different impression of the president’s demeanor and displayed Stahl’s avoidance and/or defense of topics inconvenient to Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden.

The President of the United States is a busy man. Not many people are given a couple of hours (set up, interview, tear down) of valuable White House time. 60 Minutes is a television “news” magazine that has set times for segments to allow for commercial breaks. The Sunday, October 25th episodic was divided between Stahl interviews with President Trump and Vice President Pence, and Norah O’Donnell interviews with Joe Biden and Senator Kamala Harris. Each segment would be shot and edited down for time so of course, much of the interviews would not be aired.

However as a matter of import, that’s also why television has what they call “specials” and this would have been a golden opportunity for all of the interviews to be run uninterrupted. What most Americans didn’t see and hear in the Trump interview was Stahl’s whining and defense of Joe Biden which could have been professionally and politically problematic.

Maybe that was the plan all along.

It looks like we expect too much of the media with an agenda.

Videos posted on Twitter Friday morning show a Huntington Beach police officer struggling with and then firing multiple times on a man who collapses in front of a 7-Eleven. Police say the man was hospitalized and later died.

A 17-second video of the incident was initially posted to Twitter just after 9:30 a.m. It shows an officer firing multiple times at a man, who falls to the sidewalk.

It was the one minute and thirty-six second video they didn’t show that makes a stark difference in the perceptions the media shared with the public and the reactions they got to air.

A Huntington Beach Police Department spokeswoman said the officer contacted a male individual outside the 7-Eleven at 6012 Edinger Ave. and they “got into an altercation.”

If we could find and present the second video angle, why couldn’t KTLA?

It was convenient for KTLA to feature a woman angered by the shooting and while it’s also clear she didn’t see the video of the man charging and attacking the officer with multiple punches and an unknown object, she sure came up with a pretty decisive verdict.

When you only show one side of a story, you create a narrative that will be believed by the public, and especially when it comes to police shootings, ramifications can negatively affect an entire community.

What’s dangerous is if that narrative was created due to incompetence or deliberate activism.

Despite other news outlets publishing the secondary angle, KTLA has yet to issue any update with that possibly exculpatory video.
