Despite the predictable, sanctimonious political pearl-clutching, turns out the man was technically correct.

Let’s say I created a pension fund company. You paid into it and when you reach the age of 85, you’d get a monthly check. However the mortality rate in the United States today is 79 years old. People would look at that and call it a scam, and it would be an understandable way of looking at it. If enough people complained, I wouldn’t be surprised if state and federal law enforcement showed up at my door with a warrant and shiny handcuffs. Thank God we’re not living during the tar-and-feather, torch-and-pitchfork era.

Well, it turns out that’s exactly what President Franklin D. Roosevelt and the 74th Democrat-controlled Congress did in 1935.

The Social Security Act was signed into law by President Roosevelt on August 14, 1935. In addition to several provisions for general welfare, the new Act created a social insurance program designed to pay retired workers age 65 or older a continuing income after retirement.

Now while this was portrayed as altruistic and a great benefit at the time, it appears Social Security was a slush fund created by Democrats to forcibly extract money from the American people; money that would not be repaid as promised in most circumstances.

In 1934, the American mortaility rate was 61 years old and the new Social Security payout was at age 65. FDR and the Democrats who passed the Act knew a good amount of Americans would never be around to take advantage of the program they paid into.

Unethical, heartless, evil; call it what you want.

Thanks to the advances in modern medicine, people are now living to the age of 79 years old while the Social Security payout age is 65. Even a college grad today can figure out why the math is horribly off and why the program is doomed, UNLESS the eligility age is raised.

It’s sad this whole Social Security mess isn’t communicated as simply as it is.

Then again, we all know why it’s been reduced to partisan scare tactics because the truth would be inconvenient.

Those poor employees don’t know what to do.

Former employees say that group chats have been filled with ex-colleagues advising people currently owed expenses to pay off any amounts outstanding to avoid late payment card fees—but it’s not that easy.

“Some people are like: ‘I don’t have that money,’” the former UK Twitter employee tells Fortune. “’I was relying on Twitter to give it to me.’ People are in really difficult situations here.”

Aside from parents who will suddenly be contacted by emotional children demanding to have their old rooms dusted off for a pending arrival back, it will be very hard to find Americans who will be sympathetic to the plight of the newly unemployed. Unless the media does it’s job and informs the public of just how well former Twitter employees had it, they won’t know just much of the opulent salaries they irresponsibly just up and blew.

The median income for an American is, as of 2020, $41,535.

The average income for a Twitter employee is $118,000 a year, not including the average $17,000 bonus.

If you’re young and single, that’s a lot of money. After taking into account monthly expenses like housing and utilities, other expenses were essentially taken off the table.

Unheard of in the real world, Twitter made the work environment more of a paid playground for Millennials and GenZ.

Aside from select jobs that provide you with a meal you’ve been required to work through, not too many offer free meals with beer on tap (and we assume there’s no limit to consumption), not to mention playrooms and happy hours (also probably daily). For some of these people to say they’re in an emotional and financial conundrum because they don’t have money is a joke.

And it’s not like many of these are nice people worthy of pity.

Too many proudly censored and punished users who didn’t agree with them. They believed they were (and still are) intellectually-superior and benevolent gatekeepers of their values, regardless of how their values differed with the masses. These people were overpaid to be the bad people they are.

Chances are, if they were employees vital to the daily operation of Twitter, they’d still have jobs there.

The fact they were let go and very few of us have experienced a hiccup, after going to the website, proves how unessential they are.

An open letter to SpaceX decrying CEO Elon Musk’s recent behavior has sparked open discussion among the company’s employees in an internal chat system. Employees are being encouraged to sign onto the letter’s suggestions, either publicly or anonymously, with a signed version of the letter to be delivered to the desk of SpaceX president Gwynne Shotwell.

“Elon’s behavior in the public sphere is a frequent source of distraction and embarrassment for us, particularly in recent weeks,” the letter states. “As our CEO and most prominent spokesperson, Elon is seen as the face of SpaceX — every Tweet that Elon sends is a de facto public statement by the company. It is critical to make clear to our teams and to our potential talent pool that his messaging does not reflect our work, our mission, or our values.”

SpaceX fired at least five employees for their role in drafting and circulating the open letter, according to Reuters, citing two people familiar with the matter.

The letter, first reported by The Verge, called Musk “a frequent source of distraction and embarrassment” and urged the company to “publicly address and condemn” his behavior. News that people had been fired over the letter was first reported by the New York Times on Thursday, citing three employees familiar with the matter and an email from SpaceX president and chief operating officer Gwynne Shotwell.

In the email, which has also been seen by The Verge, Shotwell said the firm had investigated and “terminated a number of employees involved” with the letter. Shotwell wrote that the letter made employees “feel uncomfortable, intimidated and bullied,” adding that SpaceX has “no need for this kind of overreaching activism.”

Who, besides self-absorbed woke activists, thought embarrassing and intimidating the boss into respecting and acting on their “values” was a good thing?

Those who are currently looking for new jobs and will have to answer to their next employer why they thought a public act of insubordination is something they can expect in the future.

As shared here previously, the workplace environment is now shifting back to hiring the grateful who just come to work to do a job and help the company be successful. Those who deem it their duty to inflict their personal “values” upon the rest of the company are being purged. It’s a harsh lesson that will follow disruptors in their attempt to find new work and rightfully so.

Some need be reminded the First Amendment gives us freedom of speech however people are not forced to hear and obey.

If these activists believe they can run a business (they didn’t have the smarts or money to create) better than the boss, have at it and compete. Other than that, shut and and do the job. If you can’t, you risk it all and thank Elon Musk for issuing the tough love he shouldn’t have had to waste value time to impose in the first place.

Nina Jankowicz is a classic test case for the liberal affliction known as psychotic “projection”.

So, who exactly is Nina Jankowicz? Certainly, not a person with any concerns about preserving freedom of speech or expression. A quick look at her Twitter history is enough to dispel that. When Facebook permanently banned Donald Trump from its service, Nina was in the wings complaining that this punishment was not harsh enough. Through a metaphor, Nina explained that only mass bans on hundreds or thousands of accounts would be enough to “fix” the disinformation “problem.”

So, why this now? Why is Joe Biden okay with forming such an ominous-sounding agency within DHS. Knowing Joe as we all do, it CAN’T be Joe’s idea or regarding Elon Musk’s acquisition of Twitter. What is this really about?

Could it be between now and the midterm election, a couple of major players in the Democrat Party could be at the center of uncomfortable attention; a couple of Democrats who MUST be protected at all costs?

Interesting how this “disinformation” topic came out of nowhere and considering how many media outlets still have egg crusts on their faces for distributing Hillary’s Trump-Russia-collusion bullshit for four-plus years that distracted a presidential campaign, hampered a transition team, and kneecapped a presidency. It had to have been green-lighted by Hillary and Obama had to have known.

John Durham knows. He just has to have every i dotted and t crossed before he certifies proof of the greatest political scandal in American history. And when that happens, all involved in the conspiracy can’t depend on the legacy media to do all the heavy lifting. They’ll need something more and this is where Nina Jankowicz comes in.

Of all the old-and-reliable useful idiots Biden (or whomever) could have appointed for this DHS gig, he chose an expendable nutcase who’ll fit nicely under the bus when she goes after anyone and everyone who reports what may be coming from the special counsel. Instead of being banned from a social media cite, Jankowicz could conceivably send goons with sub-machine guns kicking in the doors of Americans who shared a post embarrassing to Joe, Barack, Hillary, and Democrats as a whole.

After all, some things take relatively small amounts of intelligence to pull off.

So while it will be formerly known as the Disinformation Governance Board, it’s really going to be Disinformation Projection Board because like most of the so-called scandals specifically blamed on President Donald Trump, it turns out the Democrat left actually did the things the accused others of doing with no accountability.

It would appear the bully got too much a taste of her own medicine, and like most bullies, she ran away.

The Biden administration has “paused” its controversial plans to create a Disinformation Board, causing its would-be leader to resign.

In a statement Wednesday, Nina Jankowicz, the “disinformation expert” tapped to head the panel, said that “[w]ith the Board’s work paused and its future uncertain, and [sic] I have decided to leave DHS [the Department of Homeland Security] to return to my work in the public sphere.” Jankowicz’s departure and the decision to scrap the board was first reported by the Washington Post.

Whenever a liberal claims to be “mischaracterized”, it means uncomfortable truth was made public.

Jankowicz’s idea of standing up for the First Amendment included letting “verified” Twitter users “edit” other users’ tweets if the blue-checked chosen think they’re misleading. Jankowicz also repeatedly tried to spread doubt about The Post’s own reporting about Hunter Biden’s notorious laptop, telling the Associated Press in October 2020 that it should be viewed as “a Trump campaign product.” In addition, Jankowicz pushed the since-debunked claim in 2016 that then-presidential candidate Donald Trump had a tie to Kremlin-linked Alfa-Bank, an allegation at the center of an ongoing trial of a Clinton campaign lawyer accused by special counsel John Durham of lying to the FBI.

The misinformation maven was also ripped for a bizarre TikTok performance from February 2021 in which she altered the lyrics to the “Mary Poppins” song “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” to be about fake news.

Jankowicz probably had been working on a landing spot long before her “announcement”. She’ll be back at work creating musical, pro-Democrat misinformation soon enough. After all, it IS what Nina does best.

Such was the case when MSNBC’s Ari Melber expressed concern that Elon Musk and his acquisition of Twitter can now have profound affects on, among other things, future elections….

Not much commentary is required on this seeing how we’ve all seen how Twitter was used, especially during the 2020 presidential election, to silence one candidate over another, silence a major news publication whose reporting would have been influential in giving voters vital information about a candidate, silenced anyone who attempted to share pertinent information, and to this day silences those who share posts that influences how parents are informed about what their children are being taught behind their backs. All this by rich people who already own social media platforms, like rich brat Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook.

For Melber to now be concerned that Musk’s Twitter can be used to silence opposition or squelch information that may sway an election is laughable seeing how he and many others in the legacy media cheered Jack Dorsey’s Twitter for doing exactly that when it benefited Joe Biden over Donald Trump.

And as far as trusting Elon Musk, he hasn’t come close to lying to the American people as much as Democrats and their media have. No where close.
