For near eight years, Black Lives Matter “protesters” have unlawfully taken to the streets, disrupting commuters, just because THEY demand to be heard, even though in most cases, the people who lost their lives to police committed previous crimes and attracted the attention of law enforcement.

Blocking traffic is an illegal, albeit effective method of protesting in the United States. While nearly everyone caught in a traffic jam caused by protesters becomes upset due to the delay, it is important to recognize that the inconvenience gets people’s attention, which is what protesters aim to do.

Although organized protests or marches can obtain permits to close streets, frequently protesters move from the permitted areas to other areas. When protesters block highways or streets that they are not permitted to be on, they are breaking the law and do risk arrest.

Such was another case last week during a “peaceful” yet illegal protest in the streets of Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania….

A Wilkinsburg police officer, who Pittsburgh City Paper has identified as Seth Taylor, punched a protester to the ground during a demonstration against police brutality on April 16. The group of around 20 people gathered to demand justice for Jim Rogers, a Black man who died in October 2021 less than 24 hours after Pittsburgh Police officers tased him eight times.

Yes, this happened last week and the only reason why it’s not made national news is the race of those directly involved. The initial report of the Rogers’ death was yet another case of what should have been a routine encounter turning violent. Most normal people understand that nothing good comes from becoming physically aggressive with a police officer.

That’s common sense that’s obviously eluded Black Lives Matter and those who illegally take to the streets.

It was at the group’s second stop at the intersection of Penn Avenue and Center Street in Wilkinsburg, while Diamond Rogers, the niece of Jim Rogers, started to talk about her uncle, that police from various departments, including Wilkinsburg and Edgewood, got on the speaker system and told protesters to leave, stating that it was an ‘”unlawful assembly.”

Members of the protest immediately confronted the officer, upset that he had interrupted Diamond Rogers. It was then that the officer told protesters they were not allowed to be in the intersection while the demolition of a building was going on nearby.

Once the officer who gave the orders to disperse from the street came out of his vehicle, several other officers joined in the effort to get everyone on the sidewalk. During an altercation between two Wilkinsburg police officers, Taylor and Chris Duncan, and Toy Slaughter and another protester they referred to as their daughter another member of the march stepped in to separate them. It was then that Officer Taylor was witnessed punching the intervening protester and knocking them to the ground.

It’s obviously too early to know what will happen to Officer Taylor but some of us consider the man a hero.

The law-abiding citizens who don’t break the law have little sympathy for those who believe they have the right to do so at the expense and inconvenience of others.

After a summer of property vandalism and damage, arson, looting, injuries and death of law enforcement and the public at the hands of Black Lives Matter activists, Antifa punks, and pissed off millennials, there has yet to be one “peaceful protest” turned violent that was instigated by Trump-supporting Republicans.

It would be naive to assume a Biden defeat would not result in nights and days of anything other than “mostly peaceful”.

Some of these concerns about violence may also connect to the small but not insignificant number of people who said they may not to accept the election results. Almost 14% of those polled said that they were not prepared to accept the election results if Trump wins. As for Trump supporters, 10% said that they would not accept the results if Biden won.

It’s as if President Trump sees this for what it is and after four years of #swamp meddling from those within the federal governemt, enough was enough.

But federal employee groups and government observers described the executive order as a “stunning” attempt to politicize the civil service and undermine more than a century of laws aimed at preventing corruption and cronyism in the federal government.

Coming from clearly partisan federal employees who routinely discriminate (or worse) against Republicans, the irony is hilarious.

Knowing conservatives as we do, should Joe Biden win, there will be disappointment and anger but chances are very slim it will result in provocative violence and destruction. It’s not the primary instinct of conservatives to take to the streets if something happens that pisses them off.

Given how they take to the streets in Third World frenzies when they win, a loser left on the other hand, is a whole other scenario and there will be more involved than we can count.

Those who disrupt know their options are wide open.

Had ONE “peaceful protest”-turned violent been a Republican creation, it would have been labeled as such repeatedly by the media. This has not been the case as any violence involving conservatives during the summer of rioting has been defensive.

Should Biden lose, there will be mayhem in the streets. As much as the media will try and insulate the destruction, these will be Democrat-supporters doing the damage. The video we’ll see on social media of attacks on police, looting of stores and vandalism of businesses will be Democrat constituents. They will not be “mostly peaceful” and what we’ll see are not things “all sides” are doing.

In September 2015, police arrested Blake after he pulled a gun at a bar in Racine, Wis. He was charged with one felony count of resisting arrest and “one misdemeanor count each of carrying a concealed weapon, carrying a firearm while intoxicated, endangering safety-use of a dangerous weapon, and disorderly conduct,” according to the Racine County Eye.

A warrant was issued July 7 in Kenosha. According to Wisconsin’s circuit court records database, Blake has been charged with one felony count of third-degree sexual assault and two misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing. According to Wisconsin law, third-degree sexual assault can include nonconsensual sexual intercourse or other sexual contact.

And what tripped the whole incident off?

The Kenosha News reported that a woman living in the 2800 block of 40th Street told police in May that Blake, her ex-boyfriend, had come into her home and taken her car keys and vehicle. She also said he had touched her sexually without consent. It’s not clear if the officers who arrived at an address in the same block shortly after 5 p.m. on Sunday were aware of those charges.

While this is not to imply he deserved to be shot, Jacob Blake is hardly worthy of civil rights icon status.

Blake’s shooting tripped off a collective major league sports kneejerk. Baseball, basketball, hockey and football franchises nationwide staged boycotts of games, practices and left sports fans on the lurch. Speeches and social media posts from players and coaches flooded the Internet and those who disagreed were shunned into pitiful little children, begging for forgiveness.

One impassioned speech illustrated why some should speak about that which they either know or can relate to.

Let’s look at some of what Los Angeles Clippers coach Doc Rivers said.

What stands out to me is just watching the Republican convention and viewing this fear, right?

It’s not clear how much of the Republican convention Rivers actually watched, but it was a celebration of the United States of America, all we can be, and the ramifications of the civil unrest that’s occurred with select pushback in many American cities. The result is billions of dollars of public and private property damage, disruption of public movement, dozens (if not hundreds) of police and civilian injury and death.

The convention also gave voice to some directly and adversely affected by the “mostly peaceful” violence. If the truth is what Rivers considers “fear”, he has a right to his opinion.

All you hear is Donald Trump and all of them talking about fear. We’re the ones getting killed. We’re the ones getting shot. We’re the ones that are denied to live in certain communities.

President Trump talked about the need to restore law and order back onto our streets so people feel safe in their communities. Yes, “we’re the ones getting killed. We’re the ones getting shot” but I can’t remember when Doc Rivers last gave an impassioned plea for black people to stop doing the killing and shooting in Chicago, New York City, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, New Orleans, Baltimore, etc.

We’ve been hung, we’ve been shot.

Mostly, by Democrats.

All you do is keep hearing about fear. It’s amazing to me why we keep loving this country and this country does not love us back.

Going into the 2019-20 National Basketball Association season, the Los Angeles Clippers paid their players a combined “guaranteed” $132 million, not including coaches and staff. Their highest paid player, Paul George, will receive over $33 million just this season alone. Doc Rivers is the second highest paid coach in the NBA with an annual salary of $10 million. Seems to me this country could “not love” those people for a whole lot less.

Rivers made this partisan so if he’s talking about black people not being loved back as a whole, he should take an honest look at the communities where they live and who’s been running them for more than half a century. Can’t blame the lack of opportunity, decent schools, high crime, poverty-level housing and more honestly on Republicans.

Under President Trump economic policies, black unemployment hit historic record lows and it didn’t even require knowing how to rap or shoot a basketball. If that’s not love, what is?

It’s really so sad. I should just be a coach and it’s so haunting, reminded of my color. It’s just really sad. We’ve got to do better. We’ve got to demand better.

Democrats have consistently taken the black vote for granted, reigned on election promises made, leaving signature misery in their wake. In 2016, Donald Trump asked for black support, got some, and made good. Maybe Doc Rivers is making a “demand” to the wrong people and is too political to acknowledge the one man who actually kept his word to all Americans.

It’s funny, we protest and they send riot guards. They send people in riot outfits.

Maybe “we” should stop burning, looting, and assaulting. Then there would be no need for “riot guards”.

They go to Michigan with guns and they’re spitting on cops and nothing happens. The training has to change in the police force.

That made no sense.

The unions have to be taken down in the police force. My dad was a cop. I believe in good cops. We’re not trying to defund the police and take all their money away. We’re trying to get them to protect us, just like they protect everybody else.

If you watch that video, you don’t need to be black to be outraged. You need to be American and outraged. How dare the Republicans talk about fear? We’re the ones that need to be scared. We’re the ones having to talk to every Black child. What white father has to give his son a talk about being careful if you get pulled over? It’s just ridiculous.

Most people, when being pulled over for anything, are respectful and obey the police officer’s requests. It’s only when some decide it’s okay to mouth off, and/or take things to a physical level with law enforcement that bad things happen. White fathers have no problem conveying such logic to a son. Then again, maybe too many black sons (including many players on Rivers’ team and around the NBA) don’t have a father in the home to deliver structure and common sense discussion.

Then again, given the makeup of recent “mostly peaceful” protests, conversations with white daughters are long overdue.

Breonna Taylor, no charges, nothing. All we’re asking is you live up to the constitution. That’s all we’re asking, for everybody.

Taylor was killed amidst a shootout in the apartment where she lived. Drugs may have been involved. Again, another innocent black person being killed by police but with shady shit clouding it all. Law-abiding black people, for the most part, live higher than the national mortality rate for the demographic. That is, unless they get assaulted and robbed by a young blacks in the neighborhood.

Until people like Rivers denounce the rampant crime we see video clips of almost every day in the black community, it’s an invitation for law enforcement intervention. What happens after that becomes fodder for the opportunist and there sure are a lot of them.

Despite the size of the crowd, there were no incidents and no arrests. “This is the most well-behaved crowd I’ve ever seen,” said Bud Reed, a Fort Collins police officer.

Today, news stories are easily found where liberal Democrat protests are always dubbed “mostly peaceful” by their media supporters, however those “protests” almost always result in disruption of freedom of movement by innocent commuters, public and private property damage, arrests, and sometimes injury and death.

As President Trump begins his post-coronavirus campaign rallies, liberals are now feeling #threatened because he’s warned his supporters that Democrats are preparing their “counter protests” and you know what that will mean: violence.

Of course, the left is expressing horror that the President of the United States is #threatening them, but it’s not like this is not warranted.

Trump supporters, for the most part find better ways to spend their time and could give a shit when Democrats hold rallies as we observe and respect their right to free speech. Here, however, are a few examples of how liberals “peacefully protest” when Republicans dare congregate.

Eight people were arrested at the Trump rally in Colorado Springs on Thursday, police said. Those arrested, on suspicion of failure to desist or disperse, were taken to the El Paso County jail, where they were cited and released, according to police. The suspects “obstructed traffic,” according to police, at Venetucci Boulevard and Cheyenne Meadows Road, the roadway entrance and exit outside the Broadmoor World Arena, where President Donald Trump and Sen. Cory Gardner took the stage before a packed house.

“We wanted to send a very clear message to President Trump that our city is a City of peace that we are many communities coming together,” said Sara Stockmayo, of Bend the Arc Pittsburgh. “We are not willing to stand ideally by and do nothing. We feel we have voices and we have collective power, and we want to use our voices and power.” Around 9:30 a.m., Pittsburgh Police in riot gear moved in, telling the protesters to leave or be arrested. When the protest did not disperse, officers began taking the demonstrators into custody one-by-one. The Pittsburgh Public Safety Department said 14 were taken into custody after blocking the ramp from the Fort Pitt Bridge and refusing to move.

Vancouver Police arrested eight people Sunday during a clash between supporters of Donald Trump and protesters of the president’s administration. Police made the arrests at Esther Short Park Sunday afternoon, where a group rented the space to host a “Rally for Trump and Freedom.” Police estimate that 150 people attended the rally that got underway after noon. They were met with about 80 protesters lining the rally space, including members of the “Rose City Antifa” anarchist group. Things quickly became heated between the two groups. Our reporters noticed verbal and physical confrontations, and saw protesters hurl smoke bombs into the crowd at the rally.

A scuffle broke out on a Southern California beach where supporters of President Donald Trump were marching when counter-protesters doused organizers with pepper spray, authorities said Saturday. The violence erupted when the march of about 2,000 people at Bolsa Chica State Beach reached a group of about 30 counter-protesters, some of whom began spraying the irritant, said Capt. Kevin Pearsall of the California State Parks Police. Three people were arrested on suspicion of illegal use of pepper spray and a fourth person was arrested on suspicion of assault and battery, he said.

A 20-year-old man is in custody after threatening to bomb Saturday’s rally for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump in Waterbury. At about 12:45 p.m., the United States Secret Service contacted the Connecticut State Police after seeing a threat posted on Twitter threatening to “bomb” the rally for Trump. According to state police, the Twitter post said, “Is someone going to bomb the Trump rally or am I going to have to?”

San Diego police arrested 35 protesters Friday outside a Donald Trump rally after a peaceful demonstration devolved into chaos, according to police. Three hours into the calm protests, which drew up to 1,000 people, a number of demonstrators tried to breach an off-limits area, resulting in arrests, the police department said on Twitter.

Trump’s campaign abruptly canceled his rally here on Friday night over security concerns as protesters clashed with his supporters inside an arena where he was to speak. Outside, a tense standoff mounted as well. A line stretched for blocks while ticketholders — a diverse mix of older whites wearing Trump gear and younger African-American and Muslim students — waited to be allowed inside. As people streamed out, supporters of Mr. Trump were angry and frustrated. But protesters were jubilant, and celebrated along the intersections on the city’s Near West Side. Some protesters shut down lanes of a nearby expressway. Arguments and small skirmishes broke out along the streets. At one point, the police rushed in, separating people.

Ten years later, the myth of “mostly peaceful” protests by the left will be repeated ad nauseam by the liberal media to provide cover for their Democrat hoodlums who are now feeling all #threatened because their documented propensity for violence is anticipated.
