The second day of former president Donald Trump’s impeachment trial closed with a momentary controversy. Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) objected to how a Democratic impeachment manager sourced information to him personally and asked that it be stricken from the record.

Rep. David N. Cicilline (D-R.I.) had cited Lee while describing a phone call early in the Jan. 6 Capitol riot between then-President Donald Trump and Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.) about overturning the election. Lee had confirmed that Trump called him accidentally while seeking to talk to Tuberville, but the details of the ensuing conversation were not sourced to Lee in news reports. Cicilline had cited Lee’s confirmation of the call and added in the next sentence: “And on that call, Donald Trump reportedly asks Senator Tuberville to make additional objections to the certification process.”

Cicilline’s comments could be read to suggest the “reportedly” was based on Lee’s confirmation, though that generally refers to news reports. Regardless, lead House impeachment manager Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) opted to withdraw Cicilline’s assertion, maintaining that the sourcing was “not critical in any way to our case.”

In fact, the “source” Cicilline cited made no mention of Senator Lee and indicated that President Trump’s attorney Rudy Giuliani made the phone call to Tuberville, NOT President Trump himself. Aside from blatantly lying and assuming he wouldn’t be called out, it’s not clear why Cicilline tied Lee to the Giuliani-Tuberville phone call.

At approximately 7 p.m., Giuliani called newly sworn-in Alabama Sen. Tommy Tuberville, a staunch Trump ally, imploring him to stall the process. “I want to discuss with you how they’re trying to rush this hearing and how we need you, our Republican friends, to try to just slow it down so we can get these legislatures to get more information to you,” Giuliani said in a voicemail.

The problem for Giuliani? He left his message on the voicemail of another senator, who shared it with The Dispatch.

The Dispatch did not reveal which senator actually got the call, neither did the Washington Post or Congressman Cicilline.

But what was also on sad was soon-to-be 81-year-old Sen. Patrick Leahy, president pro tempore of the Senate, presiding over the second impeachment trial of former President Donald Trump, whose senility, cognitive decline, and incompetence was on full display to the world.

Aides having to tell the president pro tempore of the Senate what to do and say during an impeachment trial regarding blatant mischaracterizations by a House manager… seriously?

In simpler words, Joe Biden won the election, there was no cheating, the “media” said so; shut the fuck up… or else.

Dominion Voting Systems is even going as far as issuing million dollar lawsuits against anyone who dare imply their machines did anything to alter the solemn votes of Americans in favor of one candidate over another.

Lawyers for Dominion Voting Systems have asked Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Parler to preserve posts about the company, even if the material was already removed for spreading misinformation.

The posts need to be kept “because they are relevant to Dominion’s defamation claims relating to false accusations that Dominion rigged the 2020 election,” according to the demand letters from Dominion’s law firm Clare Locke. Dominion sued Rudolph W. Giuliani and Sidney Powell for more than $1.3 billion each in January, alleging that the lawyers defamed Dominion by saying the machines were used to steal the election from President Donald Trump.

Dominion warned in its letters to the social media companies that more lawsuits would be coming.

Facebook, Twitter and YouTube all have policies against spreading election-related misinformation. They have been removing — with varying degrees of success — posts falsely suggesting the election had been rigged since the baseless rumors began spreading in November. Parler was effectively knocked offline in January when Amazon, Apple and Google stopped providing it technical services for violating their policies against online posts that incite violence.

If ANY mention of voting machine “irregularities” can and will be met with a lawsuit, why are voting machines being blamed for an election loss?

Respondent the Oswego County Board of Elections (“Oswego County”) encountered “voting machine issues in Constantia Districts 1 and 3 and Williamstown,” which required all ballots cast to be “hand counted and added to the machine totals in those election districts.”

In this case, there is reason to believe that voting tabulation machines misread hundreds if not thousands of valid votes as undervotes, (supra at 4), and that these tabulation machine errors disproportionately affected Brindisi, (id.).

Upstate New York’s Oswego County uses voting machines and software provided by IMAGECAST®.

Who makes IMAGECAST® machines and software?

Uh oh.

And what lawyer, who values his or her license to practice and speak freely, would risk it all to imply a Dominion voting system provided problematic results in an election?

Marc Elias, the election lawyer who represented Democratic challenges to state rules throughout the 2020 election, alleged in a court filing this week that a close congressional race in upstate New York was marred by faulty voting machines.

In the congressional race for New York’s 22nd district, Republican Claudia Tenney currently leads incumbent Democrat Anthony Brindisi by a razor-thin margin of 125 votes. Tenney declared victory on Tuesday, though challenges continue. In a legal filing Monday requesting a manual audit of the election, Elias, whose Perkins Coie law firm is representing Brindisi, argued that there were “substantial errors and irregularities in the conduct of the election.”

Citing alleged discrepancies between votes counted by hand and votes counted by ballot machines, Elias argued that the error rate, extrapolated across the entire district, could mean that thousands of votes were improperly counted by the machines.

Marc Elias has made a nice living casting doubt and trying to overturn the results of elections; ONLY elections where the Democrat lost.

Elias is also representing defeated Democrat Rita Hart in Iowa’s 1st congressional district, who lost by six votes to Republican Rep. Mariannette Miller Meeks (R-IA). He is asking the Democrat-controlled House to overturn the result of the election and seat Hart, despite certification of the vote by state election authorities, bypassing Iowa courts in the process.

In addition, as Breitbart News has noted, “Elias was responsible for hiring opposition research firm Fusion GPS, on behalf of Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee, [which produced] the fraudulent “Russia dossier” on then-candidate Donald Trump in 2016.”

Of course, and as usual, the hypocrisy is in your face.

If you’re a Democrat who lost a race in 2020 due to voting irregularities with a Dominion voting machine, everything necessary can and will be done to overturn the results of that election with no fear of media criticism and legal repercussion on the horizon.

However, if you’re a Republican who makes similar claims and dares mention Dominion, you will be publicly labeled a kook sharing fact-checked and debunked misinformation, be banished from social media and sued into oblivion.

Welcome to the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States, circa 2020-21.

During Wednesday night’s hearing, House Oversight Chairman Matt Hall, R-Marshall, allowed Rudy Giuliani, the personal attorney of President Donald Trump, to question witnesses. The purpose of the meeting was to hear from people who witnessed things at TCF Center, where Detroit’s absentee ballots were counted, Hall said. But Rep. Cynthia Johnson, D-Detroit, said they should have been sworn in before giving their accounts. She said “the world” was watching.

“You’re allowing people to come in here and lie. And I know they’re lying,” Johnson told Hall.

The irony was Democrats who were accusing those citizens of lying during an oversight hearing were also, intentionally or not, misrepresenting information as well.

Politicians have contorted their protection not to be sued for slandering anyone, while on the clock, into believing they also have the right to not only talk down to citizens but outright accuse them of intentionally lying.

Now, we’ll give some of the representatives the benefit of the doubt because they were sharing information widely repeated in the media. If people are getting the facts wrong, we all know who to thank.

A case bolstered by witness testimony and a call from the President himself.

The media dismissed the President and ignored the witness testimony that debunked their ongoing false narrative.

One day after Pennsylvania certified its election results, formalizing President-elect Joe Biden’s win over President Trump in the state’s presidential race, Mr. Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani attended a public hearing in Gettysburg on election “issues” and alleged “irregularities.” President Trump, unable to attend in person, phoned in his false claims that he won swing states like Pennsylvania and the entire election. All of the president’s false and unfounded statements will not be repeated in this article. At least part of the president’s statement was accurate: “The whole world is watching the United States of America,” he said.

After calling his lawyers in the middle of the hearing — held at the Wyndham Hotel in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania — Trump launched a breathless, 10-minute-long rant about election fraud during which he surfaced many of his familiar false claims about dead people voting, illegal ballots, Democrats’ corruption and more.

President Donald Trump phoned into a meeting of Pennsylvania Republican lawmakers to say he believes he was “cheated” out of a victory in the 2020 election and the outcome should be turned over. Trump has made few appearances since the election and the phone call represents some of the most direct remarks he has made about his desire to see the results of the contest reversed. His claims have been widely debunked by elections officials from both parties and in a series of court challenges that ended in defeat for the Trump campaign.

Giuliani attended Wednesday’s “hearing” in Pennsylvania, arriving at the event with a mask before briefly taking it off when he sat down. Most other people in the room were not wearing masks. Speaking Wednesday as a witness via speakerphone during the event, Trump once again falsely claimed that he won the 2020 presidential election. He made unproven, unspecified allegations of voter fraud, ballot dumping and voter suppression against his supporters.

President Donald Trump on Wednesday baselessly claimed anew that he had won the election and uttered repeated falsehoods as he called into an event held by Pennsylvania Republicans to investigate unproven allegations of voter fraud. The Pennsylvania event was the latest attempt by Trump and his lawyer Rudy Giuliani, a former New York City mayor, to try to cast doubt on the results of the democratic election, even as the formal transition process has begun and a growing number of Republicans are recognizing Biden as president-elect. Similar events have been scheduled in Arizona and Michigan.

Of course, the media will not make reference to the credible testimony of the Republican and Democrat citizens who witnessed the massive fraud at numerous locations for the exclusive benefit of Joe Biden.

Then again, the media’s always loved an opportunity to catch a Republican with a secret recording, something at least one U.S. senator should be sensitive to.

During a private fundraiser earlier this year, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney told a small group of wealthy contributors what he truly thinks of all the voters who support President Barack Obama.

“There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what. All right, there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it. That that’s an entitlement. And the government should give it to them. And they will vote for this president no matter what… These are people who pay no income tax.

My job is is not to worry about those people. I’ll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives.”

One of the liberal Democrat outrages, going back to the House impeachment hearings, was President Trump’s firing of former ambassador to Ukraine, Marie Yovanovitch. But there’s one catch:

What I can tell you is the president is the CEO of the country. He can hire or fire whoever he wants. He is not one that’s going to sit there and talk for too long. If he sees something wrong, he’s going to deal with it. And I think that the reason people are uncomfortable is because he acts. He doesn’t talk with a bunch of people about it before, he just acts.

But at the end of the day, the president has to surround himself with a team that he can trust. He’s going to surround himself with a team that he thinks is going to represent and secure the United States properly.

The media is also going gaga over the recording provided by Lev Parnas’ attorney from what was supposed to be a “private” donor dinner in what looks like a signature suite in the Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C. It’s clear Parnas’ partner Igor Fruman set his smartphone on the dinner table secretly in record mode. While the media is enjoying their latest Trump gotcha moment, they’re totally disregarding the sentiment of the majority of Americans who’ll have one more reason to believe the president is being unfairly set up and harassed.

According to a Harvard CAPS/Harris poll released exclusively to The Hill, 62 percent of those surveyed opposed secretly taping the commander in chief … 59 percent said they thought releasing any tape with a recording of the President should be illegal and punishable by law. 35 percent said leaks could pose a threat to the country’s national security and should be outlawed, while only 21 percent of voters said they feel leaks are an important factor in informing the public and should not be made illegal.

And the very media that’s salivating over this secretly obtained audio of President Trump is very protective of their own privacy. For example, on the 13th floor of the National Press Club building in D.C., The Reliable Source Bar & Grill is frequented by Capitol Hill members of the media. There’s just one house rule understood and strictly enforced: batteries are to be removed from smartphones as to maintain an atmosphere where under-the-influenced reporters, etc. are free to speak in respected privacy; a courtesy not afforded to this President of the United States.

While the American people may not agree with the president secretly being recorded,  it’s not against the law in the nation’s capital and Fruman knew it when he laid his phone on that particular dinner table….

The District of Columbia’s wiretapping law is a “one-party consent” law. DC makes it a crime to record a phone call or conversation unless one party to the conversation consents. See D.C. Code § 23-542. Thus, if you operate in DC, you may record a conversation or phone call if you are a party to the conversation or you get permission from one party to the conversation in advance.

Obviously Lev Parnas was okay with it so all was just peachy.

Which again gets back to the vetting of anyone to be in any way associated with President Trump. We observed many in the fat slug category, sliming their way into the president-elect’s transition circle, some getting jobs in the administration while Reince Priebus’ selection process has now been proven to have been extremely lacking. And now the media is saying in unison that President Trump is lying about knowing Parnas.

You meet a lot of people, I meet a lot of people, certainly the president meets a lot of people. It’s a dinner, 90 minutes of a dinner, hard to be able to say to the president who meets 1,000 people a day, ‘OK, do you know this person who was at a dinner with you a year and a half ago?’

This response may be unacceptable to the media, but any reasonable person gets it.

We’ve been to a few political gatherings in and around the Washington D.C., Northern Virginia area, we’ve met nowhere near the amount of people President Trump has between campaign rallies, Oval Office meetings, special events, donor dinners, and if someone came up to us and told us they met us at an event a couple years ago, chances are we might remember them. Chances are also we may not.

This media can get all bent out shape because they were secretly caught on video saying outrageous things about their ideological opponents and/or customers by Project Veritas, but when they can get their hands on media they perceive as damaging to President Trump, it’s a really good day.

Lucky for them they didn’t do this to President Obama.

It’s not like anyone would have reason for suspicions….

The fired prosecutor at the center of the Ukraine controversy said during a private interview with President Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani earlier this year that he was told to back off an investigation involving a natural gas firm that was linked to Joe Biden’s son, according to details of that interview that were handed over to Congress by the State Department’s inspector general Wednesday.

For those of you who are wondering why Democrats are really after Giuliani….

Fox News obtained a copy of Giuliani’s notes from his January 2019 interview with fired Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin in which he claimed that his “investigations stopped out of fear of the United States.”

“Mr. Shokin attempted to continue the investigations but on or around June or July of 2015, the U.S. Ambassador Geoffrey R. Pyatt told him that the investigation has to be handled with white gloves, which according to Mr. Shokin, that implied do nothing,” the notes from the interview stated. The notes also claimed Shokin was told Biden had held up U.S. aid to Ukraine over the investigation.

Biden, who has been seeking to unseat President Trump in 2020, once famously boasted on camera that when he was vice president and spearheading the Obama administration’s Ukraine policy, he successfully pressured Ukraine to fire Shokin who was the top prosecutor at the time. He had been investigating the founder of Burisma Holdings, where Hunter Biden had a lucrative role on the board.

Joe and Hunter Biden are hardly worthy of the basis for a presidential impeachment, that is unless there’s a lot more involving Ukraine and American politics that will be coming out soon enough.

Joe Biden isn’t the smartest politician around and coupled with his diminishing cognitive skills, his recent comments at a Council on Foreign Relations event have required extraordinary measures to keep his sloppy braggadocio from the American people.

The importance of the above clip is how rarely (if ever) it’s been aired on ABC News, CBS News, NBC News, PBS, NPR, CNN, MSNBC or even Fox News. We all know had Donald Trump sat in that chair and bragged about getting a prosecutor who was investigating one of his family members fired, how many Americans would’ve memorized the exchange by now.

One reason Biden’s incriminating comments haven’t been aired, aside from liberal media protection, is that it appears to have been edited-out from the original and re-uploaded (with YouTube assistance and masking?), thus it’s technically nonexistent except for early third party cutdowns.

The video of the Foreign Affairs Issue Launch With Joe Biden also oddly has no visible upload date, while ninety-nine point nine percent of videos uploaded to YouTube are timestamped by default.

This is rather extraordinary.

It’s important to emphasize that in this Ukraine scandal, there isn’t any evidence that Hunter Biden or former Vice President Joe Biden broke any laws as the younger Biden received his lucrative state-owned Ukrainian natural gas company board post.

No “evidence” only because Democrats and their media have made the concerted effort to keep Joe’s arrogant, direct intervention and obvious quid pro quo from the American people.

But let’s be even more clear. It’s not just foreign company boards of foreign-owned investment funds at play. Children of elected officials from both parties have received lucrative jobs from U.S. companies, regardless of their experience or comparable salaries for the same positions.
