After the “Islamic Revolution” in 1979, that all changed.

Sharia-observant leaders stripped women of all rights, including what to wear, weren’t allow to drive, were denied education, and in too many cases, being forced to marry crusty old men while at the ripe old age of six, and could be stoned to death for a variety of “misdeeds”.

Leave aside the fact that Democrats didn’t say shit when then-President Barack Obama conducted military operations in Libya, drone and airstrikes in Pakistan, Yemen, Somalia al-Qaeda and affiliated groups, and airstrikes against the Islamic State (ISIS) in Iraq and Syria without congressional approval; Democrats didn’t say shit when then-President Joe Biden ordered airstrikes against Houthi targets in Yemen, and airstrikes in Iraq and Syria without congressional authorization. Many soldiers were killed and injured on their watches and they stopped keeping count.

During this latest turn of events, even our media had to reluctantly report that unarmed “peaceful protesters” were being mowed down by the regime.

Those “Republicans” are calling the Trump strikes “America Last” but if you were to go back and count, “Death to America” appears to have been winning. It’s the kind of thinking that allowed Iran’s proxies to actually target and kill Americans for decades.

1983: Beirut barracks bombing: Hezbollah operatives killed 220 U.S. Marines and 21 other service members in a truck bombing of a Marine compound.

I think it could be argued had Donald Trump been president at this time, the Beirut bombing alone would be all it took for him to finish off the Iranian regime and all that follows may never have occurred.

1983, 1984: U.S. Embassy bombings in Beirut and Kuwait: Iran-backed militants attacked diplomatic facilities, killing Americans.

June 1996: A truck carrying 5,000 pounds of explosives blows up the Khobar Towers, a U.S. Air Force housing complex in the Saudi Arabian town of Khobar. Nineteen Americans die and some 500 people are injured. The Iran-backed Hezbollah Al Hijaz, a terrorist group in Saudi Arabia, is deemed responsible.

August 1998: With the assistance of Hezbollah, al Qaeda suicide bombers almost simultaneously blow up the U.S. Embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, killing 224 people, including 12 Americans, and wounding thousands. According to the 9/11 Commission Report, al Qaeda developed “the tactical expertise for such attacks months earlier, when some of its operatives — top military committee members and several operatives who were involved with the Kenya cell among them — were sent to Hezbollah training camps in Lebanon.”

September 11, 2001: While the 9/11 Commission Report concludes that Iran had no foreknowledge of al Qaeda’s attacks on the World Trade Center, the report indicates that Tehran facilitated the travel of some of the terrorists. “In sum,” the report notes, “there is strong evidence that Iran facilitated the transit of al Qaeda members into and out of Afghanistan before 9/11, and that some of these were future 9/11 hijackers.”

2003-2011: Iranian-backed militias kill at least 603 U.S. troops in Iraq, according to the Pentagon. Iranian training and material support for Iraqi militias during the surge greatly increased the difficulty of U.S. forces to combat the insurgency and included some of the deadliest weapons used against American troops, including explosively formed penetrators (EFPs) and improvised explosive devices (IEDs).

Ash Carter, an academic with no military experience, was the Secretary of Defense and was followed by former Air Force officer/CIA analyst and university president Robert Gates during President Barack Obama’s terms.

2003–2011 Iraq War: Iranian-backed militias killed at least 603 U.S. troops, using advanced weapons like explosively formed penetrators (EFPs).

There were no direct Iranian attacks against Americans during President Donald Trump’s first term.

January 2020: Iran directed a ballistic missile strike on Ain al-Asad Airbase in Iraq, causing traumatic brain injuries in over 100 U.S. troops.

October 7, 2023: Hamas kills at least 48 Americans and kidnaps at least 12 Americans in a massacre of 1,200 people in southern Israel.

October 2023–2024: Over 216 attacks by Iran-backed militias targeted U.S. bases in Iraq, Syria, and Jordan, involving drones, rockets, and missiles.

January 28, 2024: A drone attack on Tower 22 in Jordan killed 3 U.S. soldiers and injured 47.

June 23, 2025: Iran launched 14 ballistic missiles at Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar in retaliation for U.S. strikes on Iranian nuclear sites; one communications dome was hit, but no casualties were reported.

For time, I left out smaller attacks but it didn’t take long for Iran’s remaining leaders to take advantage of the cover and defense from American leftists….

We were always assured by Democrat presidents that the United States didn’t negotiate with terrorists for the release of hostages and then went right ahead and did so. Definition of insanity, anyone?

The Iranian people were subjugated by a regime that was never democratically elected and seized power at the onset of what was called the “Iranian hostage crisis” in 1979 where the U.S. embassy in Iran was taken over and Americans were held hostage for over 400 days.

Many Iranians fled to countries like the United States to escape the strict imposition of Sharia tyranny. It’s past ironic that so many of those today who’ve taken to American city streets to protest Operation Epic Fury, a military action taken by President Trump because the regime continued trying to produce weapons-grade nuclear materials and again denied access to their facilities to United Nations observers. The TDS-afflicted were quick to condemn an operation they deemed unnecessary because they’ve never had to survive under those barbaric conditions for over a generation.

As written here many times before, our government is not run by our nation’s best and brightest. Our nation is mostly being run (on the town, city, state and federal level) by people who’ve never created or run anything successfully, if at all. Few, prior to their first election, have been a supervisor, department head, or business owner. Most do not know what the United States truly is; not a government entity but really a corporation which has two applicable definitions:

“a body formed and authorized by law to act as a single person although constituted by one or more persons and legally endowed with various rights and duties including the capacity of succession”

and

“an association of employers and employees in a basic industry or of members of a profession organized as an organ of political representation in a corporative state”.

For decades, the United States government has been run by those who looked at a political career as almost an entitlement. Once in, on almost every level, federal employees through political leadership deem their existence an imperative and to Americans as a blessing. But as we all know, when people believe their positions are safe, initiative can suffer and that lack of initiative can have profound effects on the millions of people they claim to serve.

Then on that fateful June 16, 2015 day, businessman Donald Trump, after many years of saying the American people have been ripped off by domestic and foreign policymakers, announced his presidency and the apparatus of comfort was put on notice. It was almost if the words of Gordon Gekko from 1987’s Wall Street “Greed is good” speech were prophetic.

Well, ladies and gentlemen, we’re not here to indulge in fantasy, but in political and economic reality. America has become a second-rate power. Its trade deficit and its fiscal deficit are at nightmare proportions. Now, in the days of the free market, when our country was a top industrial power, there was accountability to the stockholder. The Carnegies, the Mellons, the men that built this great industrial empire, made sure of it because it was their money at stake. Today, management has no stake in the company!

You own the company. That’s right — you, the stockholder. And you are all being royally screwed over by these, these bureaucrats, with their steak lunches, their hunting and fishing trips, their corporate jets and golden parachutes. Now, I have spent the last two months analyzing what all these guys do, and I still can’t figure it out.

The new law of evolution in corporate America seems to be survival of the unfittest. Well, in my book you either do it right or you get eliminated.

For many years, we the stockholders of the great American nation have been intentionally left in the dark as to the self-serving activities of bureaucrats and those in the media who suck up for access. Their policies, more often than not, saw people as collateral damage in an effort to achieve what they consider a greater good. As long as they insulated themselves from political and physical ramification, no misguided action was off the table. For example, do you really think politicians would be okay with millions of problematic illegal aliens coming into the country if they knew they’d be in direct contact with them in every daily facet of life and would not have personal protections? As long as those coming would eventually become a friendly voting block, the robberies, rapes, murders, child molestation, deadly drug dealing driving injuries and fatalities, fraud and more would be tolerable because it probably won’t personally affect them.

Donald Trump, an established and comfortable businessman, ran and at least twice won the presidency and clearly sees the nation as a corporation that actually values and aims to liberate its customers. What a concept, right?

If that means rooting out the dead weight entitled slackers in the federal government, or especially those unelected who believe they are really the ones running things, so be it. Yes, there was and will continue to be kicking and screaming tantrums but one thing Gekko said in his “Greed” speech was even more brilliant.

He said it “clarifies”.

The Trump presidencies have shown us all just how corrupt government has been, how vindictive it can be, how manipulative and dishonest the media has and continues to be, how dishonest prosecutors and judges are, how dangerous tax-cheat nonprofits are, and how willing almost all are to play deadly games with the lives of millions of people.

And on it’s present trajectory, if our corporation were to go belly up, the politician and bureaucrat golden parachutes are buried somewhere in millions of pages of legalese in legislation specifically crafted for their protection and survival.

SO, back to Greenland.

President Trump has sought to ensure the safety and security of the United States in our own hemisphere. According to the president during his Davos speech, news was made by reminding those always claiming to be smarter than he, that we actually gave Greenland back…?

No nation, or group of nations, is in any position to be able to secure Greenland other than the United States.

We saw this in World War II, when Denmark fell to Germany after just six hours of fighting and was totally unable to defend either itself or Greenland. So, the United States was then compelled – we did it, we felt an obligation to do it – to send our own forces to hold the Greenland territory. And hold it we did, at great cost and expense. They didn’t have a chance of getting on it, and they tried. Denmark knows that.

We literally set up bases on Greenland for Denmark. We fought for Denmark. We weren’t fighting for anyone else. We were fighting to save it for Denmark. Big, beautiful piece of ice. It’s hard to call it land. It’s a big piece of ice. But we saved Greenland and successfully prevented our enemies from gaining a foothold in our hemisphere. So, we did it for ourselves also.

Like any successful CEO of a corporation, Donald Trump made a public proposal to improve the business and value to stockholders. While personally intervening and ending things like wars, he’s done again what those deemed more wise mocked as the obviously impossible.

Donald Trump succeeded because that’s what competent executives do.

The TRUST Myth

We’re told we can trust our leaders. Their words affect our daily lives and when repeated by our media, have profound effects on everything from grocery and gas prices to world peace.

However, there’s a very small number of people in the United States who can lie with near total impugnity. None of us can lie about our boss or to our customers without being promply fired. But if you’re one of the 635 on Capitol Hill (clearly not the best and brightest 635 in America either….), and as long as you’re on the clock, you can say anything you want about anything or anybody.

Obama knew Republicans would be hard pressed and/or gutless trying to prove “high crimes and misdemeanors” here as presidents were not included in the Clause, so he just repeated this whopper over three dozen times.

We had politicians on the floor of the Senate accusing a presidential candidate of not filing income taxes (knowing he did), and after the election one was called on the mistruth to which he responded, “Well, he didn’t win, did he?”

Americans have to live with the daily ramifications of falsehoods spoken and written by House and Senate politicians, echoed by both legacy and social media. Imagine how much better life could be if the elected were required to be honest….

The Only MEN ARE SLOBS Myth

There are probably hundreds of instances where women declare men slobs, pigs, etc. Husbands and boyfriends are the butt of such declarations on women’s talk shows, op-ed and social media posts, and are never called on it.

That’s because women know and consciously deflect from an ugly truth: they can be easily outed as mockable projection hypocrites if their behavioral tendencies were exposed and publicly acknowledged.

Go to any department store and look at the women’s clothing and shoe aisles. One will see blouses and dresses strewn on the floor under the hung garments. Women just throw garments anywhere but back on the racks where they found them. Shoes, instead on being put back in place after being tried on, are just left on the floor to be walked around or tripped over.

If one has any doubt, their academic credentials are thrown back in your face in an attempt to shut down any disagreement one may have with their conclusions. But why must we take their conclusion as the final word?

Because we’ve been trained to accept their word.

Teachers have the ultimate power, by issuing grades from first grade through college, to certify or destroy an academic record that has profound implications for an employment career. Since their grades are as simple as right or wrong, the implication is they know more than the student which most of the time is correct.

However in recent years, teachers (who are never given the opportunity to be vetted by parents) enter the classroom, not with the mission to educate children with the tools needed to function in society but with personal agendas that may be at odds with the values with parents. But because they are teachers with the power to destroy the academic record of any child, those agendas have been legitimized.

Parents are given no proof of the proficiency of any teacher but are supposed to accept they are good teachers simply because they’re employed by a school. We have no prior assurance teachers are actual decent people. But again because they are teachers, parents are not allowed to question their competence and sanity even when they repeatedly behave in deviant manners.

The LAWYER Myth

Given the lofty compensation for their emergency services (they’re mostly only hired when bad things happen), one would think lawyers are the ultimate professionals. Cinematic and television portrayals collectively sure give that impression.

And where’s the proof?

When looking for a lawyer, you’re presented with a headshot (usually taken when he or she was much younger). You’re to be impressed by the law school attended, their degrees, their years since passing the bar exam, and years in a legal area of expertice. But there’s one piece of very important information you won’t see in a lawyer’s bio.

When a professional sports team is looking for a new coach, the first metric their fans look at are the wins and losses. That’s the easiest way to gauge if that coach candidate is worth consideration. However with lawyers, you will NEVER see the wins and losses of any law firm or individual attorney on any website.

So how do you know if the hundreds of dollars per hour, or contingency, is going to a good lawyer or a bad one?

You won’t.

Ask an attorney for the number of their wins and losses and see what happens. Note the grammar in their response for a quick clue.

The DOCTOR Myth

Again because of their level and years of education, we’re told it’s extremely problematic to ever question the conclusion of a medical professional. But doctors and lawyers share one commonality in said professions.

They don’t perform law or medicine. They “practice”.

That long-standing word description alone should be pause for concern as the common definition is it’s a “method of learning by repetition”. Do you really want someone learning when your finances, freedom, health or life is on the line? Like lawyers, you’re to assume high-priced doctors are good at what they do despite your not given any documentation to back it up.

How many patients have they cured? How many have sued them for a misdiagnosis or negligence? How many patients have they lost?

Despite the high compensation demanded for their services, neither offer a guarantee of success.

If you don’t ask, they won’t tell you. If they do respond, they’ll probably hide behind HIPPA so they still won’t tell you.

The HEALTHY FOOD Myth

Just read the ingredients on any food product you purchase at your market of choice and you’ll be left dumbfounded because, chances are, you can’t even pronounce some of the chemicals added to what we consume on a daily basis.

It might surprise you to learn that many food additives found in bread, baked goods, and candy manufactured in the United States are banned or restricted in Europe and other parts of the world because of potential health risks. U.S. consumers generally assume that items on grocery store shelves have been vetted for safety, but a loophole in the approval process of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) means that 99 percent of new food chemicals aren’t evaluated before they are added to products.

While the excuse may be these chemicals are added for visual and palate aesthetics or preservation, many of these additives have quite negative short and longterm health ramifications. High fructose corn syrup, maltodextrin, monosodium glutamate are some of the most widely used culprits. Funny how when you see drug commercials that reveal those pesky, possible negative side effects (that inconveniently include death), we’re never given similar warnings when it comes to the ingredients added to our food.

Are they trying to kill us?

The HOUSING SHORTAGE Myth

For anyone listening to news reports about the affordability and/or availability of homes, disregard all the metrics given as there’s one very important factor the media leaves out.

Realtors.

They set local and regional market prices based on their personal commission demands. They are the ones assuring hallucinating sellers how valuable their neglected or damaged homes are. There are more protections for buying a used car than a home purchase worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Why are the homes neglected or damaged? Because some people bought over-their-head and after mortgage, bills, and daily expenses, had little money left, let alone for routine maintenance. When the inevitable happens and repairs are required, handyman cheap appears to be the remedy of choice and shoddy workmanship will be discovered belatedly by subsequent owners.

If you have the misfortune of searching for a home, there’s one constant: the condition of the homes you’ll see range from tolerable to you-must-be-high. From experience it’s safe to say 98% of the homes you’ll tour are in some way damaged. To a seller and realtor, the buyer is a mark. They want your money and conscience is in very short supply.

Unless you have the wealth to build from ground up you’ll be choosing from poorly maintained, insect and/or rodent infested, mold and/or water damaged homes with inflated prices that will help an entitled seller hit the lottery and the greedy realtor receive that generous commission. If that house was initially listed at an realistic price with honest verbal and pictorial descriptions (big IF), it’ll most likely be scooped up quickly by another realtor/broker who’ll put the minimum into that house and flip it at a hefty markup. It’s the optional ethics of realtors that make home prices unaffordable for most buyers, not to mention the ripple effect of jacking up the property taxes of all those around that home.

Also be wary of the typical descriptions of houses found online: “meticulously maintained”, “nestled in”, “cozy”, “spacious” and other glowing adjectives that will be fodder for instant disappointment when you visit the property. Getting honest disclosures from realtors (required by law in some states) about the house is like pulling teeth. You’ll only be told what you know to ask. Then it’s a question of how much potential money you’re willing to tolerate or invest in that house after buying that expensive shack.

Despite all you’re told, there is no housing shortage.

There IS a shortage of houses that are worth the asking price.

The QUALITY Myth

Speaking of overpriced, there was a time in America if you were to spend a little more money on an item , you were assured of receiving something of higher quality that would last for many, many years.

Those were the days.

Cars actually had steel frames and bodies that could withstand a simple bump and could inflict even more damage to whatever it came in contact with. The left saw that as unfair, so all cars were subsequently constructed with lighter materials so damage would be more equitable.

Just look at some of the 60’s era kitchen appliances you can still find in homes currently for sale.

Today, the more you spend on anything, you’ll purchase the inferior in order to get you to repeat that sad cycle. Any product or service you don’t buy often will be used against you. The quality will be questionable at best to assure multiple repeat visits that will never fix the problem. Whether we’re talking about an appliance, store, auto mechanic, finding someone who’s first mission isn’t to rip you off is like seeking the Holy Grail.

As this appears to be the current business model, not sure when our money will be respected again.

The MEDIA Myth

We’re told to trust the media, and who says that the most?

The media.

Without those who consume their product, their overinflated salaries don’t happen. News anchors must come off as authorities on any given topic and when the inevitable happens and they get something very wrong, apologies and retractions are as brief and short as possible. To make matters worse, whether we’re talking about the news or entertainment industries, these people truly believe they are smarter that the American people whose ignorance on any given topic should be solely blamed on… the media.

Note the use of terms used when describing the American people: “average”, “everyday”, “ordinary” people. Think of the narcissistic arrogance and sense of privilege it takes to constantly look at others in that fashion. It gives too many the license to misinform and/or manipulate because they believe they know what’s best for the public, and for those they prefer and deem protectable.

Many of today’s journalists also believe if it’s something they’ve never heard of, it never happened. What could go wrong with that thinking?

Also be wary whenever a journalist cites an “expert” to justify a conclusion. More times than not like “anonymous sources”, those experts are not named and if so, the number is as few as possible. That “source” can also be an academic (see: above), or based on past incidents, can be made up altogether.

Arrogance crosses into the entertainment industry where television and movie celebrities believe they’re deep thinkers and know it all simply because of where they work, not to mention those who work for them who don’t have the guts to risk their employment and tell these entertainers when they’re wrong. As a result, embarrassingly misinformed musings are distributed to the masses.

When it comes to the world of broadcast sports, on-air pundits could be the worse as too many believe they’re also comedians instead of analysts. Their jokes and segments aren’t funny, and we’re to embrace their condescending belief that eye candy is necessary to keep men interested.

Stop.

There are other examples of myths that will inevitably come to mind as life continues.

Despite the predictable, sanctimonious political pearl-clutching, turns out the man was technically correct.

Let’s say I created a pension fund company. You paid into it and when you reach the age of 85, you’d get a monthly check. However the mortality rate in the United States today is 79 years old. People would look at that and call it a scam, and it would be an understandable way of looking at it. If enough people complained, I wouldn’t be surprised if state and federal law enforcement showed up at my door with a warrant and shiny handcuffs. Thank God we’re not living during the tar-and-feather, torch-and-pitchfork era.

Well, it turns out that’s exactly what President Franklin D. Roosevelt and the 74th Democrat-controlled Congress did in 1935.

The Social Security Act was signed into law by President Roosevelt on August 14, 1935. In addition to several provisions for general welfare, the new Act created a social insurance program designed to pay retired workers age 65 or older a continuing income after retirement.

Now while this was portrayed as altruistic and a great benefit at the time, it appears Social Security was a slush fund created by Democrats to forcibly extract money from the American people; money that would not be repaid as promised in most circumstances.

In 1934, the American mortaility rate was 61 years old and the new Social Security payout was at age 65. FDR and the Democrats who passed the Act knew a good amount of Americans would never be around to take advantage of the program they paid into.

Unethical, heartless, evil; call it what you want.

Thanks to the advances in modern medicine, people are now living to the age of 79 years old while the Social Security payout age is 65. Even a college grad today can figure out why the math is horribly off and why the program is doomed, UNLESS the eligility age is raised.

It’s sad this whole Social Security mess isn’t communicated as simply as it is.

Then again, we all know why it’s been reduced to partisan scare tactics because the truth would be inconvenient.

As expected, the usual attention/relevance seekers are adding their unsolicited voices to the conversation over the murder of UnitedHealth CEO Brian Thompson by our latest social media-anointed accused hero Luigi Mangione.

Politicians and media pundits just have to ingratiate us with their informed opinions that almost always start of with “Murder is bad, BUT….” and then go on to find twisted ways to justify a murder of someone who may do something they don’t like. Even while, in this case, the murder victim had zero to do with whatever the accused issues are/were.

Over the years, circumstances brought me to opine on several instances I titled “When Bad Things Happen To….” We’re usually talking about those who arrogantly refer to Americans as “average” or “ordinary people” because we all know they consider themselves so more extraordinary than us.

When people commit crime, the media gleefully splashes the accused’ face all over their broadcasts. Yet when a media person is busted, we’re told we must forgive and eventually forget it ever happened so that person can continue to make a living.

If anyone attacked a prompter-reader for their hypocrisy, media collective would be outraged if it was said that attack was bad, BUT….

When our politicians target a certain segment of the population, they demand the “letter of the law” be upheld. When they screw up, they demand we forgive them and eventually forget it ever happened so they can raise money for their reelection.

If anyone attacked a politician for an offence (and we’re talking sexual indiscretions to bribery), all politicians would be outraged if it was said that attack was bad, BUT….

When Obamacare was passed, every American was seemingly forced into acquiring government-run healthcare that imposed much higher premiums and deductibles. Every business that employed more than 50 people were required to cover their employees. Let’s not forget, Capitol Hill politicians found a way to exempt themselves by saying each office was a business that employed less than 50 people and, lo and behold, an exclusive health care program was created just for them that was far cheaper and had better coverage than the “Affordable Care Act” scam that was mandatory for everyone else.

If anyone attacked a politician for the harsh health care increase and resulting financial hardship, all politicians would be outraged if it was said that attack was bad, BUT….

When the COVID-19 pandemic initially hit, politicians nationwide shut down their states and millions of Americans essentially lost their means of income.

However, one of the first thing politicians on Capitol Hill did was pass the “Take Responsibility for Workers and Families Act” that essentially assured no federal employee would miss a paycheck and, coincidently, that law was seemingly replicated in state houses nationwide so most public servants would be paid uninterrupted.

We all know how some shutdown governors (most of whom never missed receiving a taxpayer-funded paycheck) blew off the very mandates they imposed on their populations and arrogantly found reasons to justify and flaunt their privilege.

If anyone attacked a governor for the loss of a business or job and all the negative fallout that comes with sudden unemployment, all politicians would be outraged if it was said that attack was bad, BUT….

We’ve been beat over the head about the only real instance of violence at a conservative rally, “January 6th” by Democrats and their media. We’ve seen the pictures of Capitol Hill politicians cowering-in-place at the horror mass violence brings.

However these are the same politicians who, in some cases, justified and excused the mass liberal Democrat mayhem that held the nation hostage during the Summer of 2020 where mostly black businesses were burned and looted, public and private businesses were vandalized, too many people were injured or killed and police officers all over the country were wounded and/or assassinated.

The horror experienced by Americans was “mostly peaceful” and not the best optics, BUT….

Thanks to the American people, President-Elect Donald J. Trump’s reelection has reduced the Democrat Party and their fake news media accomplices into a temporary state of irrelevance, thus the musings of Senators Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Governor Chris Murphy, Michael Moore and many others on social media have been met with the appropriate outrage.

“Violence is never the answer, BUT people can be pushed only so far,” Warren told HuffPost.

This mental illness is nothing new to Democrats; from the civil war they waged to keep slaves to the mass murder of innocent babies in the womb. Their adherence to the “by any means necessary” mindset gives them license to impose whatever violence they deem appropriate. That is, until it happens to them and in most cases, by them.

Then violence is never the answer.

No ands, ifs, or BUTs….

For example, Attorney John Eastman represented President Trump regarding the results of the 2020 election. Eastman is highly credentialed and experienced. He’s not an attention-whore crackpot reciting a desired outcome while unable to offer specifics to back it up. And that’s why we had to be destroyed.

An attorney discipline judge in California has rejected a request from ex-Trump election lawyer John Eastman to reactivate his law license following her recent recommendation that he be disbarred, which rendered him unable to practice law for now. Eastman, who devised a multi-step plan for then-Vice President Mike Pence to overturn the 2020 election and was part of the effort to appoint fake electors in several states, wants to keep practicing law so he can represent clients and pay his own legal bills as he fights criminal charges stemming from the 2020 election efforts.

Judge Yvette Roland, who oversees state bar proceedings in California, recommended in March that Eastman be disbarred for his election subversion efforts. His license was immediately revoked while the ethics proceedings continue.

Lawyers normally refrain from targeting their own because, heaven forbid, that dog get turned loose on them one day. Given their generous incomes thus lifestyles, they have a lot to lose.

Ask any host, pundit, latenight comedian, podcaster or blog writer at CNN to explain why Eastman must be disbarred, they’d probably recite that the 2020 election was “the most secure in history” because someone said so. They probably couldn’t explain the nuances with state election law and how it affected federal elections, voting machine function and dynamics, especially when state legislatures violated their own laws using the pandemic to justfy their violations meant to give basement-Joe Biden any advantage.

Democrats routinely seek to destroy anyone deemed a threat to their perks of power. They use the power of law enforcement to require an opponent to acquire pricey legal represenation that results in a prompt financial ruin of most people, let alone the very possibility of imprisonment. Rogue lawyers and firms not willing to defend Democrats are threatened with their careers.

John Eastman is one of those lawyers.

When it comes to “The Big Lie”, millions of Americans would be asking Democrats and their media just who’s telling it?

The blowback from family members, close friends, and employers are usually devastating, given the words “liberal” and “tolerance” are like oil and water. Following through takes bravery most can’t understand and/or are not willing to risk, which makes it infinately more admirable, especially when sincere.

On November 29, 2022, Tucker Carlson alerted us to the story of Winston Marshall who decided to jump into the light, paid for it with the loss of his chosen career in the “Mumford & Sons” band he co-founded, and was invited to share his perspectives last month in the halls of the University of Oxford to debate that current topic of great concern: democracy.

On April 25th, Marshall was invited to debate a motion that “This House Believes Populism is a Threat to Democracy”.

Also invited was Democrat Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi. As her remarks, based on the premise that “populism is a threat to democracy due to voters being manipulated” are familiar on this side of the pond, you can view her presentation here.

Like most liberal Democrats, she did break courtesy norms and interrupted Marshall when he made logical points, simply because he struck uncomfortable nerves Pelosi just couldn’t let go countered. For that reason, the legacy media didn’t let the American people know of this event and witness her humiliation in real time.

We’ve seen and heard arguments from those who interpret the First Amendment to suit their immediate desires but I don’t look between the lines as there’s never anything there.

The First Amendment allows for freedom of speech. I’ve always disagreed with the conditions some readily quote like shouting fire in a crowded theater. You can do it. You just have to be ready to accept the consequences, which is obviously problematic to those who want limited responsibility for those actions.

Whether it be on a street, highway, or college campus, a growing segment of our population believes they not only have the right to say what they want and because of where they’ve strategically decided to say it, but they also have the right to be heard.

I don’t see that right in any of our Constitutional amendments.

When the Tea Party held their many events across the United States, they first applied for and obtained a permit. They held their event in a static place so people had the choice to attend and hear speakers exercising their First Amendment right of speech. Police were in attendance due to the size of the gatherings, and almost all were relaxed as those in attendance were appreciative of them and their service. Permits for Tea Party events appear to have been issued with relative ease as the reputation was the areas used were normally left cleaner than when the group first arrived. Attendees did not routinely vandalize or destroy surrounding public, private property and businesses.

Speakers at Tea Party events enjoyed the right to speak and did not force anyone to hear their words.

For the last decade or so, left wing groups seldom acquire permits for their “events”, and I use that term loosely.

They exploit any opportunity to take to the streets, disrupt the free flow of traffic on our highways because it’s loosely illegal.

The Founders thought our right to freedom of movement so obvious, they didn’t bother adding it to the Constitution. The informal education system was better then than today’s taxpayer-funded abomination so the obvious didn’t require dumbing down. We can be detained and even arrested for walking in the middle of the road but if it’s a “protest” and it’s “free speech”, you get some leeway?

The left considers their modern mode of free speech via disruption as the “right of the people to peaceably assemble”. They obviously have no permit to block traffic and yet get in the faces of captive motorists and demand they listen to their message. Maybe that’s “mostly peaceably”.

The same now can be said as to their activities on college campuses. They take over large areas, decide who can and cannot be admitted to facilities, and force all in the area to listen to what they have to say. Their areas are routinely left in a more disheveled condition than when originally occupied, surrounding buildings and statues are vandalized and sometimes local areas experience disruptions in commerce, if not also damage to property. Let’s not leave out violence than can lead to injury and/or death.

And when it all gets ugly and fingers are pointed, we’re all told it’s a free speech issue.

It is not.

In this case, all of these protesters can call for the divestment from Israel, issue death threats, hurl racial slurs at a black congressman, and more. Those involved believe that their abhorrent words are justified and they should be able to say them. I agree as we should know what’s in their little heads.

But what really pisses them off is that our ability to ignore nullifies their speech. In this case, we can blow their words off as the sophistry of the young, uninformed and duped. If they don’t even know what they’re protesting, there’s no reason to succumb to demands. That would be dumb.

Until there’s a Constitutional Amendment forcing The People to have to hear the words of others (which would be kind of interesting to enforce), the children will have to scream until they’re hoarse.

Then again they’d go full Clockwork Orange on their opponents if they could force us to see and hear them at their worse.

I’ll preface my commentary with the obvious: All of the “mostly peaceful” protests by our “college educated” on campuses nationwide that are clearly pro-Hamas and aimed at Jewish students are wrong, illegal, and all involved should either go back to the classes their parents and taxpayers are funding or be arrested and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

But why the sudden sanctimonious outrage from the media and pundit class, billionaire donors, business leaders, and politicians? Why are the harassment and threats against Jewish students a red line that’s been crossed and now found to be totally unacceptable? It’s only because the current violence hits too close to home.

Several major donors have called a hard stop to their past donations:

New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, a Columbia graduate, said he was stopping donations immediately and charged the college with failing to keep its Jewish students safe. Billionaire investor Leon Cooperman, a business school graduate, said he would stick with a stop on donations which began shortly after the October 7 Hamas massacres. Cooperman, industrialist Len Blavatnik and Kraft have donated nearly $100 million in total to Columbia, according to some estimates — money that has created multiple buildings on campus, scholarships for engineers, and a center for Jewish students.

These opportunistic hand-wringers are hardly consistent.

After Eric Garner’s death in 2014 death and Freddie Gray’s in 2015, college students eagerly joined the burgeoning #BlackLivesMatter #DefundThePolice movements. Permitless street protests started becoming a new norm where traffic was strategically snarled, and thousands of commuters were held hostage to those who believed they could demand to be heard at the inconvenience of others.

Many of those protests resulted in millions of dollars of public and private property damage, looting of businesses, and burning of buildings and homes in predominantly black neighborhoods. Still, we were all told to deal with it because protesters were exercising their right to free speech.

Arrests and prosecutions were minimal, and the few charged were dismissed.

Those protests also resulted in compliant progressive local legislatures beginning to actually defund their law enforcement agencies, resulting in unsafe streets for citizens and the assassination of police officers nationwide. The negative ramifications to public safety felt since have been profound.

After President Donald Trump’s 2016 election, students from high school through college were encouraged to leave campuses and take to the streets, again without permits, and to disrupt traffic, again resulting in the expected public and private property damage. The outrage from those with influence was minimal because the protesters were exercising their right to free speech.

Arrests and prosecutions were minimal, and the few charged were dismissed.

After George Floyd’s death in 2020 (and too many still don’t know that the actual cause was self-inflicted), tens of thousands of protesters, including college students, took to highways and streets for the summer, causing intentional disruptions for thousands of commuters, damaging and/or destroying hundreds of public and private buildings, attacking law enforcement, burning and looting businesses and homes, primarily in black neighborhoods. Once again, the American people were told to suck it up because the protesters were exercising their right to free speech.

Arrests and prosecutions were minimal and the few charges were dismissed.

Many politicians embraced, encouraged and rewarded the tumult.

Conservatives have been met with threats and eventual violence after being invited to speak on college campuses for many years, but the outrage was minimal and we were told to suck it up because the protesters were exercising their right to free speech.

Arrests and prosecutions were minimal and the few charges were dismissed.

Female activists have been met with threats and eventual violence after being invited to speak on college campuses against the unfair and dangerous incursion of transgender athletes into their sports. The outrage was minimal and the women were told to suck it up because the protesters were exercising their right to free speech.

It could be argued if those now expressing their outrage had stepped in and efficiently cracked down on the illegal street takeovers and protests back in 2014, the red line between common decency and anarchy would not have been crossed. In almost every case, college students contributed to the ranks of unruly protesters, participated in the mayhem, destruction and afterward returned to the safety and warmth of their dorms or homes.

Almost all of the pundits on the left and the news networks gave aid and comfort to the violent protesters by labeling them as #MostlyPeaceful despite the clear optics to the contrary.

Almost all of those who donate hefty sums to colleges and universities and are quite vocal today forced their businesses to fully embrace the #BlackLivesMatter grift, despite the internal rifts that would be caused.

Don’t hold your breath waiting for Robert Kraft and others to admit their error in judgment and apologize to the many Americans who’ve been casualties of crime because the police couldn’t come when needed.

There was no legislation introduced on Capitol Hill offered to outlaw the activities of #Antifa and other anarchists whose sole mission was to exploit grievances as an excuse to commit acts of destruction; maybe because some of the protesters are relatives of those same legislators.

All of the protests, excused and/or applauded by the left, resulted in hundreds of injuries and death. Those lives didn’t matter and have been forgotten by all those now belatedly expressing horror and outrage.

And who are Ivy League college presidents and administrators now calling to quell unruly antisemitic students and outside agitators? Ah yes, the very police they had no problem smearing, defunding and/or removing from their campus safe spaces, acquiescing to activists and radicals. Funny how irony inconveniences the small college-educated mind.

The threats and violence against Jewish students on college campuses and street/highway takeovers by the pro-Hamas-indoctrinated are the direct result of not shutting down misguided and illegal student-fueled protests ten years ago. It’s shameful that it took a decade of this societal breakdown and violence before wealthy Jewish donors finally woke up to the fact that it was always going to end with attacks on the Jews.
