As expected, the usual attention/relevance seekers are adding their unsolicited voices to the conversation over the murder of UnitedHealth CEO Brian Thompson by our latest social media-anointed accused hero Luigi Mangione.

Politicians and media pundits just have to ingratiate us with their informed opinions that almost always start of with “Murder is bad, BUT….” and then go on to find twisted ways to justify a murder of someone who may do something they don’t like. Even while, in this case, the murder victim had zero to do with whatever the accused issues are/were.

Over the years, circumstances brought me to opine on several instances I titled “When Bad Things Happen To….” We’re usually talking about those who arrogantly refer to Americans as “average” or “ordinary people” because we all know they consider themselves so more extraordinary than us.

When people commit crime, the media gleefully splashes the accused’ face all over their broadcasts. Yet when a media person is busted, we’re told we must forgive and eventually forget it ever happened so that person can continue to make a living.

If anyone attacked a prompter-reader for their hypocrisy, media collective would be outraged if it was said that attack was bad, BUT….

When our politicians target a certain segment of the population, they demand the “letter of the law” be upheld. When they screw up, they demand we forgive them and eventually forget it ever happened so they can raise money for their reelection.

If anyone attacked a politician for an offence (and we’re talking sexual indiscretions to bribery), all politicians would be outraged if it was said that attack was bad, BUT….

When Obamacare was passed, every American was seemingly forced into acquiring government-run healthcare that imposed much higher premiums and deductibles. Every business that employed more than 50 people were required to cover their employees. Let’s not forget, Capitol Hill politicians found a way to exempt themselves by saying each office was a business that employed less than 50 people and, lo and behold, an exclusive health care program was created just for them that was far cheaper and had better coverage than the “Affordable Care Act” scam that was mandatory for everyone else.

If anyone attacked a politician for the harsh health care increase and resulting financial hardship, all politicians would be outraged if it was said that attack was bad, BUT….

When the COVID-19 pandemic initially hit, politicians nationwide shut down their states and millions of Americans essentially lost their means of income.

However, one of the first thing politicians on Capitol Hill did was pass the “Take Responsibility for Workers and Families Act” that essentially assured no federal employee would miss a paycheck and, coincidently, that law was seemingly replicated in state houses nationwide so most public servants would be paid uninterrupted.

We all know how some shutdown governors (most of whom never missed receiving a taxpayer-funded paycheck) blew off the very mandates they imposed on their populations and arrogantly found reasons to justify and flaunt their privilege.

If anyone attacked a governor for the loss of a business or job and all the negative fallout that comes with sudden unemployment, all politicians would be outraged if it was said that attack was bad, BUT….

We’ve been beat over the head about the only real instance of violence at a conservative rally, “January 6th” by Democrats and their media. We’ve seen the pictures of Capitol Hill politicians cowering-in-place at the horror mass violence brings.

However these are the same politicians who, in some cases, justified and excused the mass liberal Democrat mayhem that held the nation hostage during the Summer of 2020 where mostly black businesses were burned and looted, public and private businesses were vandalized, too many people were injured or killed and police officers all over the country were wounded and/or assassinated.

The horror experienced by Americans was “mostly peaceful” and not the best optics, BUT….

Thanks to the American people, President-Elect Donald J. Trump’s reelection has reduced the Democrat Party and their fake news media accomplices into a temporary state of irrelevance, thus the musings of Senators Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Governor Chris Murphy, Michael Moore and many others on social media have been met with the appropriate outrage.

“Violence is never the answer, BUT people can be pushed only so far,” Warren told HuffPost.

This mental illness is nothing new to Democrats; from the civil war they waged to keep slaves to the mass murder of innocent babies in the womb. Their adherence to the “by any means necessary” mindset gives them license to impose whatever violence they deem appropriate. That is, until it happens to them and in most cases, by them.

Then violence is never the answer.

No ands, ifs, or BUTs….

Today, the term “patriot” has been highjacked by those who bestow honor and virtue upon themselves simply because of their ability to push back on social media, blab away on cable news shows, and attract attention simply because they exist. Merriam-Webster partially defines who some of these people are….

Today, active fighting or resistance is not a requirement to being a patriot: a person only needs a strong sense of love for one’s country.

Over the last few months, there have been numerous stories of veterans making an additional sacrifice for their country.

They are running for office.

It seems clear some veterans have had enough of people who (either chose not to serve, found ways to avoid serving or) place their own personal interests above the best interests of the country. They appear to have had enough of those who sell out our nation to foreign powers and have no problem sending Americans to fight battles that are not vital to our national security, meanwhile look the other way when genuine enemies are empowered, at worse with our tax dollars.

In 1959, science fiction writer Robert Heinlein wrote the novel Starship Troopers. “Heinlein firmly endorsed the anti-communist sentiment of the Cold War era in his writing. Heinlein served in the US Navy for five years after graduating from the United States Naval Academy in 1929. His experience in the military profoundly influenced his fiction.”

One scene from the 1997 film adaptation sums up his sentiment on where he believed “democracy” was going and what was a possible solution.

Being a citizen and having a vote is something that’s been taken for granted for many years. Some people don’t vote because they believe it’s a meaningless gesture and others believe it’s a tool to be manipulated for political and/or personal gain. Most of those who play games with votes have never served to protect that right, among others. In fact, politicians have sought (and at times succeeded) to mute the votes of active duty servicemembers simply because they didn’t like a Commander-in-Chief they’d most likely vote for.

Many of these politicians who’ve never even considered protecting the nation with their lives are the very ones who are crying about the “fragile” nature of our democracy and were the first to cower in fear during the Capitol riot.

Is THIS how veterans would have reacted to the breach? Seeing how almost every conservative rally since 2009 has been totally peaceful (when no liberals counter-protested and brought signature destruction and violence with them), chances are veteran lawmakers would have personally gone to the protesters with appropriate backup, told them this was not right and go home. Running towards “danger” was what they were trained to do.

January 6 was hardly an event that would make a wartime veteran retreat.

A veteran would not have shed tears recounting an event where very few weapons were present. You wouldn’t see sobs from veterans who weren’t anywhere near the location in question and make it all about them.

Look at all those who interfere with our lives on a daily basis. Overpaid government health officials, state and federal office holders, Big Tech, legacy media pundits and columnists, social media trolls; how many of them have served and understand the value of the very freedoms veterans put their lives on the line to protect? Look at those who are quick to subvert votes so they can attain power over millions. Do these people appreciate that right and could the case be made they don’t deserve it because they never made the personal decision to defend it?

Of course, there are notable exceptions.

While Senator Lindsey Graham DID serve, he was commissioned as an officer in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps (JAG Corps) in the Air Force. He was never really in the shit and spent most of his service in air-conditioned offices. No responsible officer would recklessly, publicly call for the assassination of a foreign leader (no matter how despicable) because we understand how that could later be directed at our Commander-in-Chief.

Seeing how so many of us have been banned from Twitter for “hate speech” or something else intentionally vague, how is it this Tweet is allowed?

And do academics (with little if any real world experience) deserve the power they have, especially when they can play God with “science” to the physical peril of every man, woman, and child on the planet, especially when too many went to college to avoid serving? Do political media blabbermouths deserve the right to dictate how people should react to policies they prefer and be allowed to publicly demonize those they disagree with, seeing how most were too chickenshit to personally defend those rights? Do politicians, who are quick to restrict the free movement and assembly of those they claim to represent while disregarding restrictions that personally inconvenience them, deserve power they’ve never put all on the line to earn? It’s clearly past time to jettison and replace those who bestow the right to vote to those who aren’t even lawful citizens.

Maybe this is why we see a conscious effort (by those who didn’t serve) to dilute the intestinal fortitude of those serving and who’ll they’ll be once they leave: patriots who’ll unquestioningly obey the cowardly.

The case could be made that it’s time for those who literally put their lives on the line to take charge. For whatever the initial inspiration to join, only a veteran understands the seriousness “duty to country” took once they voluntarily signed away their own personal freedom and made their own lives subject to the whims of those whose motivations may or may not be what’s best for the country. Maybe it’s time for veterans to no longer be props for top-heavy nonprofits and indifferent government contractors who use them for self-enrichment or government agencies whose employees tolerate their presence because they simply represent a paycheck and pension.

Maybe it’s time for the real patriots to “save our democracy” because those who are in charge now know nothing about sacrifice and that’s the problem.

The Justice Department revealed new charges against a Texas man who allegedly participated in the Capitol attack and posted online death threats against Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and a US Capitol Police officer.

Garret Miller of Texas faces five criminal charges stemming from the Capitol insurrection, including trespassing offenses and making death threats. Miller allegedly tweeted, “assassinate AOC,” according to court documents.

While we’re not supporting any kind of violent speech anywhere, let alone on social media where relative anonymity creates courage, people like Miller (as well as others captured following the “riot”) are not characteristic of those who attended Tea Party and Trump rallies.

In the ongoing displays of double standards, the level of law enforcement reaction and media outrage has been significantly higher when it comes to threats directed at AOC than was President Donald Trump. While social media posters and celebrities issued threats to the president and once busted gave the usual “was joking” response, some of the offending product is still readily found online and it’s safe to assume none of them have been arrested or charged.

Here’s just a few examples of death threats directed at President Trump while #KillTrump is a currently acceptable hashtag on Twitter. Yes, some of these captures are old but they haven’t been scrubbed either and we all know #BigTech knows how to make things they find offensive go away.

Had people in #BigTech put as much effort into taking down offending posts and social media accounts with the same zeal they did keeping Hunter Biden stories off their platforms prior to the presidential election, maybe some people would get it into their heads that either calling for the death of anyone (let alone bravely asking someone else to do it) is a bad thing. The possible ramifications could’ve been profound. Maybe congressmen wouldn’t have been shot during a baseball practice in Virginia or a senator wouldn’t have been near beaten to death on his front lawn.

Wouldn’t want to leave them out another of today’s realities that threats to kill police are also enjoyable, protected free speech.

But hey, it’s all in good humor when death threats are directed towards Republicans and an actionable outrage should they be directed at a Democrat.

Those are the rules.

Add the power of an elected seat and some women appear to feel free to threaten the livlihoods (and maybe freedom) of those whose politics just piss them off.

Most men would be very careful about issuing such an implied threat; that is, men who didn’t enjoy the shield of armed protection. Conversely, a lot of women feel no need to think before speaking and unhinged liberal Democrat women are letting it rip.

Speaking of “deleted Tweets”….

This “Trump Accountability Project” isn’t just a means to kvetch. It appears to be very real, specific and threatening.

Their mission is clear.

They’ll look the other way for some.

Individuals who used their massive personal wealth and influence to bundle money for Trump.

Over the two-plus decades of covering politics, I can’t remember any man who publicly threatened to target political opponents from a previous administration. That’s not to say it wasn’t done; it just wasn’t in your face.

Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Emily Abrams “National Surrogates Director, Pete for America”, and other women are ratcheting up potential punitive and/or violent actions against individuals and groups. We all know Ocasio-Cortez and Abrams won’t be physically engaged in the activities themselves; they’ll get others amped up to do it for them. It’s what full-of-yourself mean girls do.

While I’d never seek or endorse retaliatory actions, some people are not going to sit by and allow some loudmouthed women to destroy their finances, be doxxed and harassed at their homes, restaurants and places of business, and be left physically vulnerable to the liberal crazies in the street.

Any of them showing their face, I will never ever forgive them for undermining the possibility to help their own people and their own communities. It is absolutely unconscionable. And for those young Black men who think somehow they can align themselves with Trump, not only are they terribly mistaken. The 2020 Election is almost over. These vindictive, cowardly women didn’t get all of what they wanted. They’re calling for payback while knowing should any blow-back occur, they’ll play the “You can’t hit the girl” card.

The Trump Accountability Project website implies the targets will mostly be men. The fallacy of that assumption is a lot of those Trump-supportive men have wives, other female family members and associates who will be adversely affected by TAP’s punishment. Those women will be pissed, this could get very ugly, and they’ll have no problem hitting back.

During Donald Trump’s first term, Democrats were in vocal and legislative opposition but they weren’t hurting financially either. Their personal portfolios have benefited like those of millions of Americans. But after the 2018 midterms, a political fissure erupted within the Democrat Party; a fissure that was unprecedented and probably horrifying to blindsided leadership.

It was called gross insubordination by punk ass freshmen.

Incoming freshmen were traditionally given closet-size rooms on the top floor of the Cannon House Office Building, furthest away from the elevator and closest to the stairs. They may receive insignificant committee assignments, if at all. Their first term was one of learning the ropes, and above all else, respecting the established hierarchy. The 2018 Democrat freshmen class, led by AOC, blew that up.

Democrats like to accuse others, rightly or wrongly, of racism. They, especially a Democrat speaker, don’t like it when they’re accused by petulant “women of color” freshmen. You know Pelosi was privately fuming….

According to the media, there was a reconciliation.

At that time, the Trump economy was rolling along like a freight train. If you go by James Carville’s “It’s the economy, stupid”, higher ups within the DNC were probably ready to throw in the 2020 towel. But there was another problem: AOC and the Squad had the attention of millions, they were driving a socialist agenda that was way too radical for a party that always tried to appear level-headed and “moderate”. The Squad’s followers were rabid and out of the control of Pelosi and other senior party members.

Could the total upheaval of norms we’re seeing today be a plot to assure Democrats lose ugly in 2020?

After every presidential election, there is that customary public postmortem.

Speaker Pelosi will not accept any blame for a Trump landslide victory. She will not pile on the Democratic National Committee or any party PAC. Democrat Capitol Hill leadership will not assume responsibility for an electoral beat down. Despite any political loss, Pelosi and her party leadership will personally weather any storm so burning down the house will not put them on the street.

However, Democrats might blame a 2020 presidential and down-ballot shellacking on the disastrous messaging from irrational freshmen and call for a more reasoned and traditional agenda for the Democrat Party. Translation: they’ll summarily set the insubordinate children up to be primaried and hopefully banished in 2022.

Seriously, even the staunchest of Democrats weren’t for a job-killing Green New Deal, let alone the violence and destruction associated with #BlackLivesMatter and a George Floyd crisis not wasted. Most Democrat voters aren’t for dismantling police forces around the country. Liberal CEOs, professionals, academics, entertainment celebrities, and other big money donors nationwide are being bit by the millennials’ #CancelCulture and you know whose private phone numbers they have on speed dial.

Maybe the party is giving their socialist know-it-all loudmouths the rope to hang themselves.

And given the media allegiance to the Democrat Party, all these polls implying President Trump being behind by double digits is not a fluke. The Democrat base is being set up for a face plant into the concrete. Look who they’re presenting to their base as the party presidential nominee. A possibly senile old man who really has nothing to lose when it comes to a political career, unlike those whose names are being bandied about. Why do you think it’s taking so long for Joe Biden’s campaign to find a running mate? Who’s going to want that on a resume once the long knives of finger-pointing begins the morning after a Trump landslide?

A mass defection to Donald Trump combined with a depressed party turnout mean Democrats could find themselves in the minority again. Do you really think Nancy Pelosi will accept blame when having to give up the gavel while positioning herself to be Minority Leader? Do you think any of the senior members will decide embracing and publicly justifying socialism, CHOP zones, vandalism and/or removal of monuments, and “mostly peaceful” protests in the streets will be the template for 2022 success?

Do you think they’ll allow themselves to be forced to kneel again… ever?

Washington, D.C. should be renamed to what it’s always been known for: Washington CYA. Specifically, that’s how Democrats become old Democrats.

There will be a concerted effort, should the Election 2020 Democrat ass-whuppin’ be felt from Capitol Hill down through every state legislature, to have a message publicly sent that things will go back to the ways they’ve always been done. Democrats will again want to appear moderate and they’ll promise to go back to their safer default where they can “pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it”.

The media will be directed to turn on The Squad. Their arrogance will be highlighted and replayed in slow motion. Apologies won’t be issued, making matters worse. The inside-the-Beltway establishment will assert their rightful authority, showing no desire to spare the rod. Like the old days, these children will be spanked in the street for all to see.

Not only has the Democrat Party put all their eggs in a basket carried by a man with clear cognitive issues, but now with a woman who was so popular with the base that she was the first to drop out during their presidential primary season.

Who does that?

Again, the question should be why….

Much time was spent trying to verify if the “deleted” Tweet by Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was indeed something she authored. We couldn’t prove beyond a reasonable doubt if she Tweeted it or not but hours after screenshots began circulating around social media, @AOC addressed the Tweet in question.

Rep. Ocasio-Cortez has made numerous problematic comments during her short tenure on Capitol Hill, has hundreds of thousands of adoring social media followers and we all know they will cover for Democrats and stifle conservatives on their various platforms. And as far as taking politicians at their word just because they’re politicians, let’s not forget the cover the Constitution grants them.

The Senators and Representatives shall in all Cases, except Treason, Felony and Breach of the Peace, be privileged from Arrest during their Attendance at the Session of their respective Houses, and in going to and returning from the same; and for any Speech or Debate in either House, they shall not be questioned in any other Place.

In other words, as long as they’re on the clock, politicians can say anything without fear of legal ramifications and it’s not like AOC hasn’t said questionable things before. But as long as Democrats have social media and other so-called fact checkers covering for them. The same “independent fact-checkers” who look the other way when mistruths are widely and gleefully shared about Republicans.

Facebook is one of them and the AOC meme we posted caught the attention of their “independent fact-checkers”.

One should rightly ask why this particular “deleted Tweet” is garnering so much attention from social media “fact checkers”? It seems like a bit of overreach considering the millions of posts of questionable content shared on a daily basis. AOC claims she didn’t Tweet it but she also DIDN’T denounce the sentiment as something she doesn’t agree with and/or it wasn’t a directive she heard from higher-up Democrats on the Hill.

The content of the “deleted Tweet” is really the issue

If keeping businesses closed and putting people out of work is acceptable, communications between Capitol Hill and the states were made directing them to keep their economies squelched just to damage the economy prior to a presidential election, that would be a huge admission with major ramifications for those participating. And those who are doing overtime “fact-checking” and covering for AOC include those who are outspoken in their partisanship and have the means to act on it.

So, for the time being, we’ll leave our meme up and stand by our instincts for three simple reasons:

1. 1. The First Amendment
   2. Politicians can say ANYTHING they want and are Constitutionally protected
   3. So-called “fact-checkers” are hand-picked partisans
   4. IF the Tweet was a reflection of actual Democrat strategy, this could be explosive

The overreaction from the left is telling. They’re squelching the inconvenient message in the name of the messenger.

The economy was President Trump’s reelection ace in the hole. Thanks to COVID-19, the economy was seriously damaged and the political actions resulted in many long-established brands permanently closed, millions of employees losing their jobs, all while the political class made sure they were financially untouched. Punishing Americans so Democrats can win an election is not beyond something they’d be willing and able to carry out.

The result has been consistent neglect and the latest pandemic scourge has been no different.

While lamenting the fate of the black community, some politicians acted like the Coronavirus wouldn’t never stick to them.

A similar disparity has emerged in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, one of the most segregated cities in the US.

A Democrat “segregated” city. Some things never change.

African Americans made up almost half of Milwaukee County’s nearly 1,000 cases as of last Friday and 81% of its 27 deaths, despite black people accounting for 26% of the population there, according to a study by ProPublica.

Some 40% of Louisiana’s coronavirus deaths have occurred in the New Orleans area, where the majority of residents are black. Latino and black residents in New York City have higher mortality rates from coronavirus, according to preliminary numbers released by the city on Wednesday morning. The early data shows that of those who have died from coronavirus in the city, 34 percent were Latino residents, while 28 percent were blacks.

Democrats have proven over most of their history that they could give a rip about black people. Black children are disproportionately aborted, have the worse public education in the nation while being denied proven alternatives, Democrat politicians tolerate neighborhood shootings every weekend that would make national news had they occured in a white neighborhood. Blacks are only important when it comes time to keep Democrats in positions of power and now that President Trump has made near-historic inroads for the black vote, pointing to a Republican bogeyman is right out of the ol’ playbook.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has called for coronavirus reparations for minorities, claiming higher numbers of COVID-19 fatalities in low-income communities stems from underlying inequality.

“COVID deaths are disproportionately spiking in Black + Brown communities,” Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) tweeted to her 6 million followers on Friday morning. “Why? Because the chronic toll of redlining, environmental racism, wealth gap, etc. ARE underlying health conditions,” the Bronx-born lawmaker added.

Not that the September 11 terror attacks forever changed the way Americans live within our own borders.

Five months later to the day, during the 9/11 Memorial and Museum Ceremony in New York City, Representative Omar’s comments were addressed by a private citizen.

Wearing a shirt with the Muslim Minnesota congresswoman’s infamous words emblazoned on it, Nicholas Haros Jr. paused from reading the names of the dead at the televised Ground Zero service to lambaste Omar.

It would’ve been an interesting conversation to have been had.

Had Hillary Clinton won the 2016 presidential election, it would be demanded that Republicans respect the will of the people and they would as they always have. There would be no Indivisible, #Resist or #Resistance movement. But because she lost and Democrats decided they wouldn’t respect the agreed-to process of Electoral College results and not a goal post-moving popular vote, the left has given themselves license to act out in any fashion current events dictate.

Their violence is clearly on the uptick and it’s only a matter of time where their violence is no longer just reactionary but on the offense.

Shots fired at ICE Administrative Offices in San Antonio, Tex. are setting off alarm bells for what officials say has become a dangerous trend.

“To fire indiscriminately into any building- let alone a federal building, let alone a federal facility- is not an act of protest. It is an act of violence,” said Christopher Combs, FBI Special Agent in charge of San Antonio’s Division.

This targeted attack on ICE is one of four in the last month or so, the others occurring in Tacoma, Washington, Aurora Colorado and Washington, D.C. “We cannot allow political discourse to lead us to the point of violence where federal employees innocent people doing their jobs are put into harm’s way”, Combs said.

This follows a string of rallies, including on the streets of New York, the blocking of buildings and roads in Washington D.C. and the removal of an American flag at an ICE facility in Aurora, Colorado later replaced it with a Mexican flag and defaced “Blue Lives Matter’ one.

Republicans and conservatives traditionally do not take to the streets, disrupting traffic and committing acts of vandalism as a pattern of “peaceful protest”. Republicans and conservatives don’t trash areas where they’ve actually take the time to obtain permits for their rallies. Liberals routinely do all of the above and they’ve taken it to the next level.

FBI agents are searching for suspects in connection with shots fired at two ICE buildings early Tuesday morning. The shooting first reported took place around 3 a.m. Tuesday on the 1700 block of NE Loop 410 near Brookhaven Drive. We’re told another shooting happened at a separate ICE facility around the same time. Investigators say that multiple shots were fired on two floors targeting ICE officials. No one was hit, but windows were broken in the building. One person was injured, it’s not clear how they were, though.

“I don’t think there’s a question that they knew which floors the ice offices were,” FBI Special Agent in Charge Chris Combs said Tuesday. The building shot at has multiple tenants, with the ICE facility located on upper floors. “All of the shots that we have found are on the floors where ICE had offices,” Combs explained. “This is no question a very targeted attack. It’s not a secret facility, you can go online, it’s out there. So they did some research, they knew what floors ICE was on, they knew what buildings they were and and they hit those.”

ICE ERO San Antonio Field Office Director Daniel Bible says the national discourse surrounding ICE and the topic of immigration is reckless, blaming today’s shooting on politicians, media and activists.

“This attack at the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Field Office in San Antonio is completely without justification,” said Bible. “Political rhetoric and misinformation that various politicians, media outlets and activist groups recklessly disseminate to the American people regarding the ICE mission only serve to further encourage these violent acts. ICE officers put their lives on the line each and every day to keep our communities safe. This disturbing public discourse shrouds our critical law enforcement function and unnecessarily puts our officers’ safety at risk.”

Like college professors and/or high school teachers who inspire their students to risk arrest and possible injury to participate in any manner of protest while staying behind in the safety of their faculty lounges, media and the activist/pundit class inspire aggressive acts from the safety of their studios and offices.

This was at least the fourth act of aggression directed at ICE offices since early July. Protesters outside a facility in Aurora, Colorado pulled down an American flag and raised a Mexican one in its place on July 12. Two days later, a self-described anti-fascist apparently tried to set an ICE facility on fire in Tacoma, Washington. On July 16, nearly a dozen protesters were arrested for unlawfully entering ICE offices in Washington, D.C.

At a time when many Democrats say President Trump bears some responsibility for a mass shooting in El Paso allegedly driven by anti-immigrant anger, some Republicans maintain anti-ICE rhetoric by prominent Democrats like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is encouraging violence on the left.

Ocasio-Cortez is one of many Democrats who have lashed out at ICE in recent months over the treatment of migrant families detained at the southern border and undocumented immigrants swept up in raids inside the country. She and others have called for the agency to be abolished.

Of course, when those who intentionally block the freedom of movement of others find themselves in the peril, the media chooses sides and affords them victim status.

The protesters were sitting on the pavement to block staff from parking at a Rhode Island prison that works with Immigration and Customs Enforcement when a black pickup truck swerved toward them. The protesters shouted as the driver laid on the horn, and the truck briefly stopped. And then, the driver hit the gas.

In a viral video captured by bystanders, the protesters screamed and jumped out of the way. Several were struck, according to organizers of the Wednesday night demonstration at the Wyatt Detention Facility in Central Falls, R.I. Some were treated at a hospital, though none were severely injured.

“It was terrifying because we didn’t know what exactly his intention was,” Amy Anthony, a spokesman for Never Again Action, a Jewish activist group that planned the protest, told The Washington Post. “It certainly appeared he was trying to hit us.”

As Bill Maher basically told the nation, the United States may not be so “divided”. In other words, we’ll be unified and there will be peace on the streets ONLY if Democrats are allowed to win the next presidential election and have unfettered control over policy, thus our lives.

Thinly-veiled blackmail can also be considered protected political speech and until the sore losers get their way, expect an uptick in incendiary commentary and subtle marching orders. If there was ever an argument for declaring anyone a domestic terror threat, the left has long since made their case.

For all appearances at this moment, it looks like they won’t get their way in 2020 and their lashing out and punishing those who won’t give them their way has really yet to begin.
