I’ll preface my commentary with the obvious: All of the “mostly peaceful” protests by our “college educated” on campuses nationwide that are clearly pro-Hamas and aimed at Jewish students are wrong, illegal, and all involved should either go back to the classes their parents and taxpayers are funding or be arrested and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

But why the sudden sanctimonious outrage from the media and pundit class, billionaire donors, business leaders, and politicians? Why are the harassment and threats against Jewish students a red line that’s been crossed and now found to be totally unacceptable? It’s only because the current violence hits too close to home.

Several major donors have called a hard stop to their past donations:

New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, a Columbia graduate, said he was stopping donations immediately and charged the college with failing to keep its Jewish students safe. Billionaire investor Leon Cooperman, a business school graduate, said he would stick with a stop on donations which began shortly after the October 7 Hamas massacres. Cooperman, industrialist Len Blavatnik and Kraft have donated nearly $100 million in total to Columbia, according to some estimates — money that has created multiple buildings on campus, scholarships for engineers, and a center for Jewish students.

These opportunistic hand-wringers are hardly consistent.

After Eric Garner’s death in 2014 death and Freddie Gray’s in 2015, college students eagerly joined the burgeoning #BlackLivesMatter #DefundThePolice movements. Permitless street protests started becoming a new norm where traffic was strategically snarled, and thousands of commuters were held hostage to those who believed they could demand to be heard at the inconvenience of others.

Many of those protests resulted in millions of dollars of public and private property damage, looting of businesses, and burning of buildings and homes in predominantly black neighborhoods. Still, we were all told to deal with it because protesters were exercising their right to free speech.

Arrests and prosecutions were minimal, and the few charged were dismissed.

Those protests also resulted in compliant progressive local legislatures beginning to actually defund their law enforcement agencies, resulting in unsafe streets for citizens and the assassination of police officers nationwide. The negative ramifications to public safety felt since have been profound.

After President Donald Trump’s 2016 election, students from high school through college were encouraged to leave campuses and take to the streets, again without permits, and to disrupt traffic, again resulting in the expected public and private property damage. The outrage from those with influence was minimal because the protesters were exercising their right to free speech.

Arrests and prosecutions were minimal, and the few charged were dismissed.

After George Floyd’s death in 2020 (and too many still don’t know that the actual cause was self-inflicted), tens of thousands of protesters, including college students, took to highways and streets for the summer, causing intentional disruptions for thousands of commuters, damaging and/or destroying hundreds of public and private buildings, attacking law enforcement, burning and looting businesses and homes, primarily in black neighborhoods. Once again, the American people were told to suck it up because the protesters were exercising their right to free speech.

Arrests and prosecutions were minimal and the few charges were dismissed.

Many politicians embraced, encouraged and rewarded the tumult.

Conservatives have been met with threats and eventual violence after being invited to speak on college campuses for many years, but the outrage was minimal and we were told to suck it up because the protesters were exercising their right to free speech.

Female activists have been met with threats and eventual violence after being invited to speak on college campuses against the unfair and dangerous incursion of transgender athletes into their sports. It could be argued if those now expressing their outrage had stepped in and efficiently cracked down on the illegal street takeovers and protests back in 2014, the red line between common decency and anarchy would not have been crossed. In almost every case, college students contributed to the ranks of unruly protesters, participated in the mayhem, destruction and afterward returned to the safety and warmth of their dorms or homes.

Almost all of the pundits on the left and the news networks gave aid and comfort to the violent protesters by labeling them as #MostlyPeaceful despite the clear optics to the contrary.

Almost all of those who donate hefty sums to colleges and universities and are quite vocal today forced their businesses to fully embrace the #BlackLivesMatter grift, despite the internal rifts that would be caused.

Don’t hold your breath waiting for Robert Kraft and others to admit their error in judgment and apologize to the many Americans who’ve been casualties of crime because the police couldn’t come when needed.

There was no legislation introduced on Capitol Hill offered to outlaw the activities of #Antifa and other anarchists whose sole mission was to exploit grievances as an excuse to commit acts of destruction; maybe because some of the protesters are relatives of those same legislators.

All of the protests, excused and/or applauded by the left, resulted in hundreds of injuries and death. Those lives didn’t matter and have been forgotten by all those now belatedly expressing horror and outrage.

And who are Ivy League college presidents and administrators now calling to quell unruly antisemitic students and outside agitators? Ah yes, the very police they had no problem smearing, defunding and/or removing from their campus safe spaces, acquiescing to activists and radicals. Funny how irony inconveniences the small college-educated mind.

The threats and violence against Jewish students on college campuses and street/highway takeovers by the pro-Hamas-indoctrinated are the direct result of not shutting down misguided and illegal student-fueled protests ten years ago. It’s shameful that it took a decade of this societal breakdown and violence before wealthy Jewish donors finally woke up to the fact that it was always going to end with attacks on the Jews.

There comes a time when these students should be considered grownups and held to a standard that involves being accountable for actions.

A question that’s yet to be asked is where was all this outrage over the stance of impressionable (and wrong) college students while they were eagerly protesting on behalf of the fraud that was Black Lives Matter? Not to equate the barbaric loss of life in Israel at the hands of Hamas to what happened here in the United States alone, but why were the adults with checkbooks silent for the entire Summer of 2020?

It’s not like the BLM riots were “mostly peaceful” and relatively harmless. In fact, the aftermath still plagues the United States to this day with ongoing deadly consequences.

The language in the streets and on many college campuses called for the killing of police officers and their “Pigs in a Blanket: Fry ’em Like Bacon” fantasies were met.

We’re not talking about young people making foolish, harmless statements. In all too many cases, their words and deeds harmed the very people they claimed to be advocating. Some of the white sympathizers even justified the looting and burning of black-owned businesses.

At a recent antifa gathering in Portland, Ore., protesters shared literature arguing for the righteousness of property destruction with titles like “Why Break Windows.” In a media critique earlier this year published on the website Refinery29, Britni de la Cretaz wrote:

“Putting the focus on stealing objects from a store (during a pandemic, no less!) rather than on the injustice behind the looting, the horrific loss of life and racial violence that Black folks live with every day, is sending the message that property matters more than people. It just demonstrates the way that white supremacy sees more value in a TV set than in the life of a Black man.”

Whether we’re talking Antifa or Britnies, black businesses were considered acceptable collateral damage by young, white so-called activists who were clearly narcissists in need of inclusion in a movement they didn’t create. Many of these young people were either in college or employed.

Where were the billionaire donors while college students nationwide were promoting and participating in activities that resulted in billions of dollars of public and private property damage, much of it in black neighborhoods? Where were the billionaire donors while college students nationwide were promoting the misguided “Defund the Police” concept that have made neighborhoods unsafe, now including the affluent ones? Where were the billionaire donors while college students nationwide were calling for the killing of police offices and those assassinations continue to this day resulting in record-low officer retention and recruitment?

There appears to be few, if any, reports of outraged college donors withdrawing job offers or firing those who may have been involved in disruptive street protests and closures or participation in protesting in black neighborhoods where the looting and burning of businesses was prevalent.

Some of these guilt-assuaged billionaire donors may have embraced the trendy-yet-toxic side effect of the BLM riots: Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

The impact of the Black Lives Matter movement in corporate America is palpable and the business justification for having meaningful diversity and inclusion programs in the workplace is proven. Diverse businesses are better places to work; they make better decisions, have a more positive profile in the community and earn greater respect in the marketplace. These and other factors generally result in greater financial returns.

So how can you re-define or invigorate diversity and inclusion initiatives in your business?

DEI is going to be going away much quicker than the drips over the last year. As DEI is antisemitic, it’s got to go and its removal you know will be tied to any future college donations.

The Hamas massacre in Israel deserved the near-universal condemnation it’s received from those with normal brains. The case could be made that all of the campus Jew-hate delusion the world it witnessing now could have been nipped in the bud years ago had the wallets to these colleges been closed shut.

What’s sad is that an outrage that took place halfway around the world has gotten the attention of the donor class. The outrage of death and destruction that occurred in this country, and the ramifications, since is still pending (if realized at all) from the triggered rich.

Seeing how he almost always has to reach into his default bash-Republicans mode, Maher took time near the end of his closing monologue to remind us that many of the stoopids who attended Ivy League colleges hold federal offices and he pointed squarely at the GOP. Unlike Maher, let’s not conveniently give Democrat Ivy League alumni like Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Bill Clinton, Al Gore, Hillary Clinton, Elizabeth Warren, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Dick Durbin, Steny Hoyer, John Kerry, Eric Holder, Jack Lew, and Valerie Jarrett a pass.

Look at how much damage they’ve done “transforming” America.

Yep, it was the most secure election in history. Except for that Russian interference in both 2016 and 2020. Unfortunately, one accusation turned out to be a Hillary Clinton/DNC dirty trick and the other turned out be a cover story to mask an embarrassment to the Democrat candidate so patterns need be taken into account.

Biden rambled on.

They promote authoritarian leaders, and they fan the flames of political violence that are a threat to our personal rights, to the pursuit of justice, to the rule of law, to the very soul of this country. They look at the mob that stormed the United States Capitol on January 6th — brutally attacking law enforcement — not as insurrectionists who placed a dagger to the throat of our democracy, but they look at them as patriots.

Democrats conveniently dismiss any attempt to compare the January 6 foolishness to the liberal Democrat 2020 “Summer of Love” Black Lives Matter/Antifa rioting that occurred in hundreds of American cities and cost many lost enforcement personnel and citizens their lives, not to mention billions in private and public property damage.

But the takeover of a “People’s House” didn’t occur for the first time ever in Washington, D.C. after the 2020 election. Leftists have shot up and bombed the Capitol before, but let’s not get all distracted by the past. Actually, the takeover of a legislature building is a rather common occurrence when Dems don’t get their way, want something, and most of the time without a permit.

Liberal Democrats are encouraged and allowed to occupy government spaces but when the right protests, Democrats call the cops to have the gathering declared an “unlawful assembly”.

And they see their MAGA failure to stop a peaceful transfer of power after the 2020 election as preparation for the 2022 and 2024 elections.

Democrats denied Republicans the opportunity to celebrate Inauguration Day 2017 and Biden will never mention the attempted assassination of Republicans at a baseball practice in Alexandria, Virginia by a Bernie Sanders supporter. Political violence has been extremely rare on the right and routine from the left.

They tried everything last time to nullify the votes of 81 million people. This time, they’re determined to succeed in thwarting the will of the people. I will not stand by and watch — I will not — the will of the American people be overturned by wild conspiracy theories and baseless, evidence-free claims of fraud.

Before we blindly agree that the 2020 election was on the up-and-up just because they told us so, don’t forget the growing number of instances where we were told to accept something the left and their media insisted was truth that had to be acted on just to find out it was either very wrong or an intentional lie. Remember those in the Trump administration and/or supporters who’ve been arrested (and in some cases financially ruined defending themselves against federal law enforcement) while Democrats who have genuinely broken the law get the customary wrist slap if any punishment at all.

Seeing how the United States is a constitutional republic, the only threat to “democracy” is the fact that most of the word Democrat is in it. Biden’s vindictive policies have been so destructive to Americans, he’s doing all he can to keep what semblance of a base he has left because when Republicans take the majority in 2022 and Trump gets back in the White House in 2025, there will be a reckoning.

It will be very ugly and well-deserved.

For near eight years, Black Lives Matter “protesters” have unlawfully taken to the streets, disrupting commuters, just because THEY demand to be heard, even though in most cases, the people who lost their lives to police committed previous crimes and attracted the attention of law enforcement.

Blocking traffic is an illegal, albeit effective method of protesting in the United States. While nearly everyone caught in a traffic jam caused by protesters becomes upset due to the delay, it is important to recognize that the inconvenience gets people’s attention, which is what protesters aim to do.

Although organized protests or marches can obtain permits to close streets, frequently protesters move from the permitted areas to other areas. When protesters block highways or streets that they are not permitted to be on, they are breaking the law and do risk arrest.

Such was another case last week during a “peaceful” yet illegal protest in the streets of Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania….

A Wilkinsburg police officer, who Pittsburgh City Paper has identified as Seth Taylor, punched a protester to the ground during a demonstration against police brutality on April 16. The group of around 20 people gathered to demand justice for Jim Rogers, a Black man who died in October 2021 less than 24 hours after Pittsburgh Police officers tased him eight times.

Yes, this happened last week and the only reason why it’s not made national news is the race of those directly involved. The initial report of the Rogers’ death was yet another case of what should have been a routine encounter turning violent. Most normal people understand that nothing good comes from becoming physically aggressive with a police officer.

That’s common sense that’s obviously eluded Black Lives Matter and those who illegally take to the streets.

It was at the group’s second stop at the intersection of Penn Avenue and Center Street in Wilkinsburg, while Diamond Rogers, the niece of Jim Rogers, started to talk about her uncle, that police from various departments, including Wilkinsburg and Edgewood, got on the speaker system and told protesters to leave, stating that it was an ‘”unlawful assembly.”

Members of the protest immediately confronted the officer, upset that he had interrupted Diamond Rogers. It was then that the officer told protesters they were not allowed to be in the intersection while the demolition of a building was going on nearby.

Once the officer who gave the orders to disperse from the street came out of his vehicle, several other officers joined in the effort to get everyone on the sidewalk. During an altercation between two Wilkinsburg police officers, Taylor and Chris Duncan, and Toy Slaughter and another protester they referred to as their daughter another member of the march stepped in to separate them. It was then that Officer Taylor was witnessed punching the intervening protester and knocking them to the ground.

It’s obviously too early to know what will happen to Officer Taylor but some of us consider the man a hero.

The law-abiding citizens who don’t break the law have little sympathy for those who believe they have the right to do so at the expense and inconvenience of others.

After almost two years, the Red Sox are taking down their 254-foot Black Lives Matter billboard that has been stationed behind Fenway Park facing the Massachusetts Turnpike.

Bekah Salwasser, the Sox’ executive vice president of social impact and executive director of the Red Sox Foundation, told the Herald on Thursday that the organization has been proud of its support for the BLM movement, but now wants to use that signage to promote the 20th anniversary of the foundation. The change of billboards will take place in the next couple of days.

“We felt it very important to take advantage of one of the most prominent tools this organization has, which is this billboard, to really shed a light on and celebrate the 20 years of incredible impact the Red Sox Foundation has had across New England,” Salwasser said.

Don’t get me started again on the unfortunate impact and imposition of halfricans who are absorbed into legitimate businesses to create “social impact” through division they magnify to justify their existence. Yes, the Red Sox have unruly fans but so does a lot of other teams and while racism shouldn’t be tolerated, at least there aren’t the assaults, knifings, shootings and the people falling to their deaths from upper decks we hear about happening in other stadiums around the nation.

Call me old fashioned but as a lifelong Red Sox fan who starting at age 8, walked down Massachusetts Avenue from Central Square, across the bridge to Kenmore Square (okay, if I had an additional quarter, I’d take the T), and went to day and night games when bleacher seats cost $1, I was only interested in watching the team compete and ultimately beat the Yankees. I went to dozens of games during my youth and never encountered a feeling I didn’t belong there. I wasn’t a black life that mattered. I was (and still am) a loyal Red Sox fan.

So, why the need to “remove” the sign from the side of the stadium? Could it be because Black Lives Matter has been proven to be the political sham many understood from inception?

In July 2020, with the nation mourning the death of George Floyd, Red Sox decision makers thought they were joining an important movement.

Hmm… they “thought”. Who did they ask, Monica Cannon-Grant?

Team president Sam Kennedy announced a call to action as he asked members of the Sox front office and fans alike to work toward diversity inclusion and racial justice in their communities. To show their support, the Red Sox revealed the billboard, later to be joined by a large banner in the Red Sox bleachers and a permanent BLM sign in the Sox outfield.

Never could they have expected some of their fans to turn on them so quickly.

Sorry, unless you have winning championships down to a science, maybe that’s where members of the Sox front office should have been spending their paid time addressing. Actual baseball “fans”, as opposed to social justice activists, seemed to understand that.

Despite an overflowing show of support from a majority of their fanbase, the organization was also flooded with negative phone calls from what it views as a “vocal minority” of folks who didn’t like the sign.

“No one could predict the future; we certainly couldn’t,” Salwasser said. “So no, we had no idea what really to expect.

Arrogant liberals assume everyone thinks like them and are usually horrified, thus caught off guard, by the slightest pushback.

“I’ll be honest, it was a really challenging time for our organization when that board went up. Because as often happens, there is a loud vocal minority that expressed discontent with the board. And that was regrettable with us because we felt so proud when that billboard went up. We were taken aback by the negative feedback. But again, as oftentimes happens, there’s a very loud, vocal minority that likes to make their feelings known.

Unfortunately a lot of our staff had to bear the brunt of some of those really tough conversations from those fans.”

Given current ticket prices, the staff was probably overpaid for the “brunt” they had to bear.

As usual, it was all about them, their “social” impact, or lack thereof. Between the pandemic and the “Summer of Love”, the Red Sox finished the abbreviated 2020 season with an abysmal 24 wins and 36 losses. But having visible support for Black Lives Matter was more important. Ask any fan who may have missed a few innings, trying to get home after being stuck in a spontaneous traffic disruption by BLM activists who demanded commuters check their privilege.

“I also think it’s important to note that last season we also had permanent signage of Black Lives Matter up in the park. So the statement isn’t going away. That’s not changing at all. That will stay permanently affixed to the interior of Fenway Park for all our fans of Red Sox nation to see. We’re proud of that.”

And while the billboard is coming down, the organization said its commitment to racial justice won’t change.

So why are the Red Sox visually distancing themselves from Black Lives Matter?

Aside from the greed of their grifter founder and supporters, they’ve been exposed as yet another liberal entity using willing black people (whom the left would call “house negroes”) for political and personal gain.

The Washington Examiner revealed last week that prominent Democratic lawyer Marc Elias and former White House political director Minyon Moore, both longtime Clinton allies, have taken on key leadership roles with BLM. Filings from the organization show Elias represents the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation through Elias Law Group, and Moore, who is also advising President Joe Biden’s Supreme Court confirmation team, is now a member of BLM’s board of directors.

The reason this matters is twofold.

First, it proves BLM is directly engaging known Democratic political operatives, undermining its claim that it functions as a charity. And second, it shows Democrats are actively trying to direct BLM and help it deal with the financial transparency scandal it finds itself in.

As for the Red Sox organization, it would be sad to think that winning is not one of the priorities of the franchise and instead infecting the product with hires from nonprofits with social agendas that have little to do with wins and losses.

Boston fans are often called the most intelligent in all of sports. Unfortunately, the socially arrogant in the Red Sox front office don’t appear to agree.

With their GoFundMe account now frozen, the participants in the “Freedom convoy” in Ottawa are now also facing a lawsuit from an Ottawa woman who has opened her case up for others to join as a potential class action. On Friday, Ottawa resident Zexi Li filed a lawsuit in Ontario Superior Court, seeking damages for emotional and mental distress, headaches, sleeping difficulties, difficulty concentrating and interference with quiet enjoyment of her home. “The Class Members are living in daily torment caused by the incessant blasting of truck horns,” reads the statement of claim.

The suit seeks $9.8 million in damages plus costs for participants in the potential class action.

Li won an injunction against the truckers.

Zexi Li is a public servant behind a proposed $9.8-million class action filed with the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, which sought an injunction prohibiting the defendants, or any other participant in the anti-vaccine mandate convoy protest, from using vehicle horns in the vicinity of downtown Ottawa. The court granted the 10-day injunction Monday, banning honking in the area north of the Queensway, the city’s main east-west artery. According to the order, police are now authorized to arrest and remove anyone who they believe is intentionally contravening the order. Typically, such nuisances fall under the city’s bylaws and are subject to a fine.

The vandalism and looting following the death of George Floyd at the hands of the Minneapolis police will cost the insurance industry more than any other violent demonstrations in recent history. The protests that took place in 140 U.S. cities this spring were mostly peaceful, but the arson, vandalism and looting that did occur will result in at least $1 billion to $2 billion of paid insurance claims.

Aside from the disruption of movement in and around Ottawa, there are no reports of arson, vandalism or looting at the hands of the Canadian truckers and the only monies now being mentioned is the Canadian government’s seizure of trucker bank accounts and the possible liquidation of trucks confiscated by the Ottawa Police Service.

More than 2,000 law enforcement officers were injured in the first weeks of protests over the summer following the in-custody death of George Floyd, according to a report from the Major Cities Chiefs Association. During that period, there were 8,700 protests nationwide; 574 were declared riots with violence and other criminal acts.

The only verified reports of injury in Ottawa are primarily of protesters injured by the very police people like Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau protested against less than two years ago.

Nine of the people killed during protests were demonstrators taking part in Black Lives Matter protests. At least 14 more Americans have been killed in other incidents linked to political unrest this summer, including seven people shot during alleged looting of businesses, among them David Dorn, a retired police officer shot during the robbery of a pawn shop in St Louis; two California law enforcement officers murdered by an alleged anti-government “Boogaloo” extremist, one person found dead in a pawn shop in Minneapolis that had been set on fire; an eight-year-old shot to death in Atlanta; and a Louisville restaurant owner who was shot dead by the national guard.

Not sure if any of those immediately impacted by Floyd rioters could afford to sue Black Lives Matter for “emotional distress”, and ask black people how easy it is to find a pro bono attorney who’ll take a case.

A neighborhood was unable to sleep because of loud horns from trucks and emotional distress was the toll. It was an “occupation” incomparable with the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone (CHAZ) Antifa occupation in Seattle.

It could be argued that was not as bad as the hundreds of thousands of residents across the United States who had trouble sleeping because they didn’t know who could break into their places of business to steal and burn, let alone possibly burn in their own homes because people like Li didn’t want to police anywhere near a poor neighborhood she would ever live in.

We’ll see if Zexi Li has such a respect for laws and enforcement when the next Black Lives Matter protest comes to town.

What Democrats and their media fail to include are previous attacks on the Capitol, not going back as far as the 1814 burning by the British army, but more recent attacks with perpetrators who armed with more than deadly flag poles. Those committing the acts of violence were liberals and their causes, either to protest the “oppressed” or wars, and they either shot elected officials or caused significant damage by explosives in the Capitol and other federal government buildings.

President Jimmy Carter commuted the sentences for all of the Puerto Rican terrorists who bombed the Capitol in 1954. Bill Ayers, a leader of the Weather Underground went on to become a “distinguished” academic/author while one of the members of May 19, pardoned by Bill Clinton on his last day in office, is now a fundraiser for Black Lives Matter.

The Biden administration is creating a new unit in the justice department to counter domestic terrorism following the deadly US Capitol attack by supporters of Donald Trump, a senior official said on Tuesday.

“We face an elevated threat from domestic violent extremists,” Matthew Olsen, assistant attorney general of the national security division, told a hearing held by the Senate judiciary committee.

Liberals can shoot senators and bomb the Capitol numerous times, but it took a one-time riot during a conservative rally for Democrats to get serious.

Unarmed knuckleheads who entered the Capitol on January 6th are either languishing in solitary confinement in a DC shithole or are still being hunted down by Biden’s FBI. Liberals who actually shot up and bombed the Capitol are celebrated and get to influence the next generation as to their way of progressive activism.

That is, if their prior activities are even brought up.

Now that crime, promoted by those campaigns they donated heavily to, has reached their doorsteps, it’s an emergency.

Private security contractors report that a recent string of high-profile retail robberies and home burglaries in upscale Los Angeles neighborhoods has caused a dramatic uptick in requests for their services and prompted many of their wealthy clients to change their routines out of a mix of caution and fear.

Living in fear because of the political motives of others really sucks, especially when property and lives are at risk.

Recent high-profile crimes involving the entertainment community include the Oct. 27 robbery of the Encino home of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Dorit Kemsley, resulting in the theft of $1 million in luxury handbags, jewelry, watches and other goods. Actor and former BET host Terrence Jenkins escaped a robbery attempt by a masked crew near his Sherman Oaks home on Nov. 10.

Then Hollywood was shaken by the fatal shooting of 81-year-old philanthropist Jacqueline Avant (wife of legendary music exec Clarence Avant and mother-in-law to Netflix’s Ted Sarandos) during an attempted burglary at her Trousdale Estates home on Dec. 1; the perpetrator, recently paroled from state prison, was charged with her murder on Dec. 6.

High-profile heists have also occurred in the Fairfax district, where suspects in police-like uniforms followed victims from a restaurant, and in Hancock Park, where two men robbed a mother with her baby. Armed robbers crashed a holiday party in Pacific Palisades on Dec. 3 to strip revelers of jewelry, iPhones and an Apple watch. On Dec. 7, thieves heisted about $100,000 worth of jewelry and goods from guests held at gunpoint outside the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown. And on the evening of Dec. 20, a man was arrested for attempting to burglarize a Bel Air mansion.

The case could be made had these know-it-all “celebrities” voted for politicians and activists who really had the public’s best interest in mind, none of this would be necessary and millions in property damage and lives would have been spared… including theirs.

With a majority of clients in Bel Air, Beverly Hills, Pacific Palisades and Brentwood, ACS Security has seen an uptick of “about 50 percent” in calls and special patrol services in the past few weeks, says field marketing manager, Elizabeth Chyr. Many clients of SSA Security Group (which services the Palisades, Holmby Hills, Brentwood, Santa Monica and Westwood) are “asking for extra patrol,” says executive senior vice president Terry Segraves, adding that the rate of new client intake is up significantly — “we already have 12 new clients in December.”

Coldwell Banker real estate agent Joyce Rey tells THR that she has joined with neighbors in her Beverly Hills Post Office neighborhood to hire private patrols.

Sadly, the majority of the American people don’t have the disposable means to hire personal security squads or renovate their homes to include safe rooms. We just have to live with the ramifications of policy-makers the Hollywood crowd donate massively to.

Since late August, Rising S Company has completed risk assessments for multiple high-end clients in L.A. and installed 13 safe rooms, nine safe doors, two underground bunker shelters, and two window fortifications in Brentwood Park, Beverly Park and Paradise Cove, says general manager Gary Lynch. This compares to their installation of seven safe rooms in California in the 2.5 years prior.

Estate manager Bryan Peele, president and founder of the L.A.-based Estate Managers Coalition, told THR that his clients have “fully equipped safe rooms that they can live in for a few days, if necessary, that are completely hard-wired with phone cables, Internet, everything.”

One of Peele’s clients has purchased three bullet-proof cars in the last couple of months, while another located a company in London to replicate his luxury watches. “This guy will take a $200,000 Rolex and copy it, using stainless steel and other metals, so it looks like the original but costs maybe $2,000-$3,000 per watch. So, in the event that it’s stolen, the client is out a lot less money,” says Peele.

None of these people will admit they brought this crime plague down around all of us. Instead, they’ll just hunker down while it creates the intended tumult outside of their neighborhoods.

Some are taking firearm and self-defense classes, while enrolling staff in security training. “We even have one client in Brentwood that has security detail follow the kids to playdates and follow the housekeeper when she’s walking the pets,” says Peele.

Entertainment business manager John McIlwee of McIlwee & Associates — whose clients include Jane Lynch and director Matt Reeves — told THR that in the past weeks he has been reviewing insurance policies, sending reminders to use alarm systems, and adding in armed patrols.

These are the same people who’d have our Second Amendment right diminished while you can’t watch any primetime television without a depiction of a couple homicides by firearm. And while retail outlets in poorer neighborhoods are moving out due to the shoplifting sprees that result in no arrests, those thieves messed with the stores the special people frequent and that’s a problem.

In the retail realm, eleven smash-and-grab robberies in Los Angeles, from Nov. 18 through Nov. 28, involved over $338,000 worth of goods and more than $40,000 in property damage. Targeted stores include Nordstrom at the Grove shopping center (where at least 18 thieves used sledgehammers and an electric bicycle to smash through windows), Nordstrom at the Westfield Topanga & The Village shopping center in Canoga Park (where a security guard was assaulted with bear spray), Ksubi on South La Brea Avenue, Bottega Veneta on Melrose Place, and several stores in Beverly Center. Fourteen suspects, arrested on Dec. 2, were all released within hours after paying bail or meeting no-bail policies implemented last year for certain crimes to reduce jail populations during the pandemic.

The rare sneaker and streetwear shop Zero’s on Melrose Avenue, which counts Pete Davidson, Noah Cyrus, and several L.A. Rams players as clients, was robbed at gunpoint in September. Owner Zero Selon told KTLA that he was forced to spend his personal savings to hire armed security guards and additional staff.

While burglars’ attempts to smash through the Louis Vuitton and Saks Fifth Avenue storefronts in Beverly Hills with sledgehammers on Nov. 21 were thwarted by bulletproof glass, that city has significantly stepped up security.

While many celebrities showed public solidarity with Black Lives Matter and the #DefundThePolice movement, the obvious foolishness stopped at their city limits.

“We are one of the first cities in the country to hire more police — five officers were sworn in this week — and, for two years, the city of Beverly Hills has been working with two private security companies [Nastec and Covered6], so there are 80 added armed ex-military guards surveilling both the city and the [residential] neighborhoods,” Todd Johnson, president and CEO of the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce, told THR. “There are a lot more police on foot, bicycles, motorcycles and in cars. And there’s a good chance that you won’t even notice the undercover guys because they are dressed in sweats and sneakers. Many of the businesses on Rodeo (probably 70 to 80 percent) and throughout the city have additionally hired their own private security. We have more cameras per square foot than any other city in the world.

It takes a lot of chutzpah to have it reported to the world that shit’s gotten way out of control and the red carpet crowd can afford to insulate themselves from the things that made them feel good without as much of an apology to the rest of Americans who have to live in the world they helped subsidize.

Those of us who’ve attended Tea Party rallies since 2009 have observed consistencies. They were mostly attended by older demographics including senior citizen retirees and children; hardly the make up of the violent prone. Police were on scene as is the custom with any large gathering and more times then not, they were chillin’ near their cars, smiling and being thanked by rally-goers for their time and service.

NONE of them were disruptive, destructive or violent.

While there have been a few incidents that the media tied to the Team Party, Tea Party rallies have not (as far as I can tell) been involved with any arrests, any allegations of violence or any run-ins with law enforcement.

A claim liberal events can’t.

The Occupy movement has not been so lucky. The number of arrests made at Occupy movements seems to be near 2,500 and still growing. There have been many times when police officials felt compelled to react and control the crowd (most notably in Oakland, as one HeadCount blogger has discussed). Perhaps worst of all, there have even been reports of sexual assault at Occupy events.

And there’s a distinct difference between BLM protests and Tea Party/conservative rallies.

The Armed Conflict Location & Event Data Project (ACLED) analyzed more than 7,750 Black Lives Matter demonstrations in all 50 states and Washington D.C. that took place in the wake of George Floyd’s death between May 26 and August 22.

Their report states that more than 2,400 locations reported peaceful protests, while fewer than 220 reported “violent demonstrations.” The authors define violent demonstrations as including “acts targeting other individuals, property, businesses, other rioting groups or armed actors.” Their definition includes anything from “fighting back against police” to vandalism, property destruction looting, road-blocking using barricades, burning tires or other materials”, the report says.

Using the convenient caveat to distinguish the obvious, “mostly peaceful” was deployed by Democrats and their activist media to diminish the wanton disruption, vandalism, damage, injury and death caused almost every time they congregate.

ALL of the above were liberal Democrat riots; not ONE was a conservative, Republican event. In fact, conservatives have the reputation of leaving any area where they’ve gathered cleaner than when they first arrived. Liberal Democrats are the exact opposite.

However, the only instances where violence did occur at Trump rallies was when liberals infiltrated with one sole purpose: to create mayhem, violence and with the gleeful assistance of the media, smear. When the 2016 election produced a result they didn’t like, liberal Democrats took to the streets and the rest is what we’ve come accustomed to.

For the third night in a row, anti-Donald Trump demonstrators took to the streets in several big cities and on college campuses across the United States. About 4,000 protesters assembled downtown Portland late Thursday chanting “we reject the president-elect!” the Associated Press reported. Some among the crowd vandalized 19 cars at a dealership in Northeast Portland, according to a sales manager, Oregonlive.com reports.

The protest was mostly peaceful until demonstrators met with an anarchist group, after which demonstrators vandalized buildings, kicked cars and knocked out power, KGW-TV reported. On Twitter, Portland police said many protesters were “trying to get anarchist groups to stop destroying property” and that “anarchists” were refusing to do so. Demonstrators repeatedly chanted “peaceful protest.”

It defies logic that there could be no “arrests, any allegations of violence or any run-ins with law enforcement” when Republicans gathered from 2009 through 2021 but one sunny Wednesday in January, Trump supporters decided to run amok and invade the U.S. Capitol in what opportunist Democrats call an “insurrection”. The media selectively turned the normal political speech (how many political commercials do you remember where a candidate says he or she will “fight” for you?) into hate speech.

Trump’s campaign rallies have always been incubation grounds for violence, sites where Trump spewed hate speech that encouraged physical harm against dissenters. And as president, he has used his platform to encourage violence against American citizens, whether through the police and National Guard or militia groups — unless those citizens are his supporters.

Of course, when liberals use violent rhetoric after their supporters commit violent acts, the media looked the other way.

The context is obvious, but imagine where the leftist media would go with such a montage if this were Republicans.

As Biden’s election caused a disruption in their planned disruptions, a January 6 pivot became their next cause….

As it’s well documented that conservatives, Republicans and/or Trump supporters are not violence prone and that liberals infiltrate what may have been initially intended to be peaceful rallies and turn them violent and destructive, they plotted before the 2020 election to create “the post-election phase in the streets”.

It’s not beyond sensibilities to assume these people saw the January 6 Trump rally as an opportunity to not only bring on their signature violence but to have that violence blamed on his supporters for future marginalization. It’s just a question who knew what was going to happen and how much blame would be assessed.

There is significant evidence beginning to emerge of three things. One, that the Capitol Police, the NYPD, the FBI all had prior warning there was going to be an attack on the Capitol. How did the leaders of Congress react to this intel? Did it get to them? Did Nancy Pelosi know?

Secondly, if this was a planned attack, you can’t be a president of the United States being accused of inciting a spontaneous attack when it was planned days before. From an impeachment perspective and a factual security perspective, we’re learning things and we shouldn’t be in the posture of making final assignments of blame until we know what the facts are.

Again based on the documented reputation of conservative and Republican activists, the January 6 Capitol riot was 100% uncharacteristic of President Trump’s supporters and 100% characteristic when liberal Democrats assemble. Rioting and committing random acts of violence and destruction are things conservatives have never done prior to. It IS what Democrats do almost every time they “peacefully protest” in the streets or storm state houses.

But looking into past patterns and practices just takes too much work for the media and anyone with a modicum of common sense.

During the summer of 2020, we were all subjected to leftist disruption of our freedom of movement on American streets and highways, the wanton desecration and/or removal of monuments, burning and looting of stores, vandalism of private businesses and public buildings, takeover of whole neighborhoods by masked terrorists, and a call by elected Democrats to defund law enforcement. The result was billions of dollars in damage and hundreds of injuries and dozens of unnecessary deaths.

On Tuesday, November 3, 2020, Laura and I again went to Washington, D.C. to hopefully enjoy the reelection of President Trump. However, the atmosphere was totally different.

The White House was surrounded by riot fencing. Businesses had closed early and were boarded up. Restaurants were mostly closed. With the exception of police cars periodically racing by, the streets had an empty, apocalyptic air. It was clear to all what was most likely to happen should Joe Biden be declared the loser and the city had, for the most part, prepared for the worse and with good reason.

In consuming the latest condemnation of the events at the Capitol on January 6th, it’s amazing to hear the sanctimonious media, self-serving politicians and federal officials lecture Trump supporters about civility. While the “takeover” of the Capitol was uncharacteristic of any Republican rally to date, watching the political elite cower in fear was quite ironic.

Some of them personally experienced what millions of citizens endure on a near-daily basis in crime-ridden Democrat neighborhoods where defunding the police has been proudly proposed and implemented. While now accusing President Trump of inciting “insurrection” on an hourly basis since January 6th, most media outlets WILL NOT air what he actually said at the end of his rally speech.

Based on recent events, it could be argued that had Joe Biden been declared the loser on Election Night 2020, the leftist Democrats and their Antifa sympathizers would still be vandalizing, looting, burning, attacking the police and hundreds of Americans would be the political, collateral damage. Inauguration Day would be a crescendo many would be fearing.

Something the righteous political class conveniently leave out is despite the events of Wednesday on the Hill, Trump supporters (who rightly contend the election was stolen) have yet to vandalize, loot, burn, attack the police, and nationally no one has been injured or killed during “peaceful protests”.

Had Donald Trump been declared the rightful winner of the 2020 presidential election, America would be on fire, the worst would be yet to come, and those now demonizing Trump supporters would be justifying the leftist carnage.

So spare us the sanctimonious indignation.
