New York Times columnist and CNN contributor Wajahat Ali and ex-GOP strategist Rick Wilson participated in a panel with Don Lemon on Saturday night. They were discussing the recent fight between Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and NPR’s Mary Louise Kelly. During an interview, Pompeo screamed at Kelly and demanded she locate Ukraine, the topic of the initial disagreement, on an unlabeled map.

While discussing the confrontation on CNN, Wilson pivoted the conversation to the president’s supporters and suggested that Trump supporters wouldn’t be able to find Ukraine on a map and that they would label being able to do so as a sign of elitism. Ali and Lemon laughed at Wilson, who used fake a southern accent to sound like a Trump supporter. Ali later chimed in with his own ridicule of Trump backers while Lemon laughed so hard he used a tissue to wipe tears from his eyes.

If President Trump is so stupid, why is the economy at a historic high and unemployment for all demographics, illegal immigration at historic lows, we’re at relative peace with the world, and despite their best efforts (which would’ve melted the average Republican years ago), he’s STILL in office? How did his stupid supporters see this coming and vote for him despite the informed, intelligent warnings issued by intellectually-superior Democrats and their media? Could it be the president and his supporters are really the smart ones and the pundits are not?

Not if you see Trump supporters the way the liberal elite sees and portrays them.

The CNN debacle was not an anomaly. It will happen again and again all the way up to Election Day and beyond.

Projection is a basic, self-protective defense, and a process which affects how people understand one another. Granted, the second grade “I know you are but what am I?” taunt may be appropriately descriptive of the left, the proof of their projection is all around us. They call the right violent while they routinely disrupt, riot in the street, assault counter protesters, shoot at Republican politicians and staff, leaving varying amounts of public and private property damage in their wake. They ridicule the right for not having enough “college-educated” voters while listening to those calling in on the CSPAN Washington Journal “Democrat’s line” is an exercise in frustration, listening to arrogant liberals reciting talking points proven inaccurate or just boldfaced lies weeks, if not years ago.

The left’s introduction of false narratives occur on an almost daily basis and sometimes the target of those narratives has to counter within minutes of the partisan lies as they break. For example….

The acting director of national intelligence threatened to resign over concerns that the White House might attempt to force him to stonewall Congress when he testifies Thursday about an explosive whistleblower complaint about the president, according to current and former U.S. officials familiar with the matter.

It took literal minutes for this story, responded to by President Trump during a press conference with the Ukrainian president, to be forcefully and publicly debunked by the subject himself.

The acting U.S. intelligence director denied reports Wednesday that he threatened to resign if the Trump administration tried to stop him from testifying freely before Congress on Thursday.

Joseph Maguire, acting director of National Intelligence, vowed to step down if he was not allowed to appear before Congress, a source familiar with the matter told NBC News. The Washington Post first reported Maguire’s threatened resignation, citing current and former U.S. officials.

In just the latest example of journalistic malpractice, citing unnamed “current and former U.S. officials” revealed yet again the perils of quotes being introduced into the public debate; “officials” who may or may not even exist but as long as it’s published in the media, “sources” are protected, real or imagined and the Democrat base has another tidbit to recite ad nauseam.

With that, it’s easy to understand why liberal Democrats are STILL repeating the Mueller Report-debunked “Russia collusion” hoax, while any Democrat within earshot of a microphone repeats that “foreign election interference, “threat to our democracy” jingle. It’s also easy to see why they and especially their media so hate President Trump. He’s challenged them, their power to influence, and especially their integrity.

But what’s most laughable is even though Democrats and their allies depend on the ability of their base to recite anything issued, that same base is being told that conservatives and Republicans are the dumb tools.

I also don’t think that hyperbole would be overstating it to say that some Democrats just think that the president’s base is too dumb to know the difference, that they wouldn’t get — even if all of the evidence pointed toward impeachment, pointed toward this being someone who needed to be removed, that the president has fooled enough people, that they are so gullible, that they will not vote against him no matter what. That’s the vibe I get from some Democrats — that this whole thing is a waste of time, because “those people” are going to pick him no matter what.

That explains why so many on the left believe the “deplorable” base of President Trump’s base can’t be depended on to abandon him on Election Day 2020, and seeing how they still haven’t been adequately punished for voting against Hillary Clinton in 2016, removing him from power now may be the only way to stop those “too dumb” from voting for him again.

But the left’s ability to consume without verification becomes equally problematic when, for example, the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee ad libs an interpretation of a phone transcript between Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Trump; an interpretation of Trump’s words that will be recited verbatim as often as those who still, to this day, believe Sarah Palin said “I can see Russia from my house!”

We’ve been very good to your country. Very good. No other country has done as much as we have. But you know what, I don’t see much reciprocity here. You know what I mean? I hear what you want. I have a favor I want from you though. And I’m going to say this only seven times, so you better listen good. I want you to make up dirt on my political opponent, understand? Lots of dirt, on this and on that. I’m going to put you in touch with people, and not just any people. I’m going to put you in touch with the Attorney General of the United States — my Attorney General, Bill Barr — he’s got the whole weight of American law enforcement behind him. It’s truly sad knowing how many are going to confidently quote and be motivated by Schiff’s attempt at parody.

Having to engage in political dialogue with the arrogant is bad enough. Add incorrect to arrogant and you have a pending exercise in futility on your hands, but then again, that’s probably how the political left wants it.

That headline should be THE example of Democrat projection since November 2016.

Because when the next few investigations into the Clinton Foundation, FISA abuse, and anything John Durham sprinkles on top are completed and reports are released, the left will need to depend on their base projectors. The Democrats will employ the “deny, delay, destroy” strategy perfected by Bill and Hillary during the last impeachment saga, and those three D’s were left simple enough for a reason.

But one of the media’s near-constant mantras is that President Trump is a racist, his supporters are racists, and he’s made America racist again. One would think these holier-than-thou journalists would lead by example but the news media continues to be the most lily-white of employers in the United States. Sure, you’ll find a smattering of minorities in positions where they can be visually exploited, but blacks (in particular) are relegated to security guard positions at media entrances, in green rooms as makeup artists where they can make their white pundits feel visually better about themselves, or those who drive the limos and transport the important to-and-from the studios.

The White House Correspondents Dinner was a gathering of the overpaid (thus-overfed), self-absorbed narcissists who call everyone else racist while exempting themselves, but visuals don’t lie. CSPAN devoted over 25 minutes after the festivities came to a close to show those, who clearly see themselves are important, hobnobbing with each other as if this was something the American people desired to view.

Here’s a taste of what the journalism elite believed it was an honor for us to behold.

While President Trump was at a campaign event that evening, open for all who could get in the door, the White House Correspondents Dinner was an elitist sideshow for the special. There were a dozen or so minorities visible, but there were probably a lot more bringing out the fancy entrees and wine for the white privileged obese.

Probably most disappointing for the “journalists” was the nixing of the annual “Playboy Party” afterparty.

Bummer.

However, like most broadcast and cable news channels, they go out of their way to label conservative guests (as if they’re odd) while almost never announcing their liberal guests as such.

Case in point was CSPAN’s recent promo for the “Los Angeles Times Festival of Books” and the featured speakers which would appear on a BookTV program. The voiceover on April 11 met the above biased criteria.

While we captured the re-edited, nonpartisan version of the BookTV promo, the biased promo is also still airing on CSPAN.

Liberals resent being caught in their deceptions. They’ll cover their tracks but still find a way to stick it to you.

That would imply that Democrat callers were far more articulate and intelligent, right?

Aside from the fact that even when cornered, CNN’s Alisyn Camerota admitted on air that she had no proof that Russia did anything to affect our election process, the easy-to-recite mantra continues from the intellectually superior Democrat callers.

More than half of the more than $56,000 came from just one lawyer and more than half of it was donated before the 2016 election, but two of the lawyers gave the maximum $2,700 donation to Hillary Clinton last year.

What do you think Democrat callers would be saying if Barack Obama was being investigated by a team lined with Republican donors? It would be denounced as partisan, highly unfair, racist, but as it’s the other way around, all is on the up-and-up.

And when it comes to the so-called meddling of elections, memories are so conveniently short when it comes to actual boots on the ground as members of Obama’s election team physically meddled in the 2015 Israeli election against Benjamin Netanyahu. Not saying “everybody does it” is a legitimate excuse but for the now sanctimonious to show outrage that our election may have been influenced by a foreign entity while our country physically did so is just another example of look-the-other-way when it comes to anything Obama and drag this whole Russian collusion thing out against President Trump for the next four to eight years.

As stated here from the beginning, liberals continue to deny black people the basic humanity of knowing right from wrong.

During the “C-SPAN Classroom’s StudentCam documentary contest” winner “An Incarcerated Nation”, white liberal after white liberal (who work at the nonprofits Post Prison Education Program and Justice Campaign) explain why blacks have no choice but commit crimes thus should not be so harshly punished, and black former convict after black former convict complain about the prison industrial complex while explaining why their lives have been negatively affected for having to do time for crimes committed.

Of course, left out of the responses were the many reasons why blacks have been so dehumanized to the point where knowing right from wrong is a totally alien concept.

If your cat urinates on the carpet, you don’t get mad at the cat because it doesn’t know any better. So when certain black people go astray, liberals in the media find the anointed black “leaders” to tell the world what made them do what they did and blame it on society’s inequities. It’s never our fault. It’s the socio-economic conditions, it’s racism, it’s Reaganomics, and it’s always understandable.

Bob wrote that in his very first op-ed in 2002 and it’s a shame fifteen years later, the same excuses are being delivered by condescending white liberals today. Take any white liberal for a drive and ask them when they know they’ve entered the black community. They won’t know because such an identifier is totally absent in their safe, suburban mindset: bars on the windows.

Think about THAT: it being preferable to risk being trapped in your home during a fire because the chances of being broken into (with or without your being inside) is far greater.

Imagine if ONE DAY there was no crime in the black community and if that one day became two and the two days became a week, what do you think the police response would be? They’d probably end up going where they were called: somewhere else. But instead let’s blame law enforcement having to have an increased presence in areas where the law-abiding public is routinely victimized.

Black Democrats are represented in probably 99% of black communities and are totally absolved from not directly talking to their constituents and demanding parents to take responsibility for the raising of their children.

If the majority of black neighborhoods are controlled by Democrat city councilmen and women, black state legislators, black congress people, why for example, are there vacant lots that haven’t been built upon since the Watts riots? Why are the schools so bad, despite previously having Democrat presidents with Democrat congresses and senates that could have, and should have, fixed the problems? Surely, that doesn’t happen in other neighborhoods. It seems that the only people who benefit by elections in the black community are the black Democrat candidates. But yet, we embrace them.

As many of us older black people were taught by our parents that NOTHING good comes from being on the street after 1am, why are so many black youth still out roaming their communities unsupervised early in the morning getting into trouble, committing crimes that may involve a response from private citizens, and maybe law enforcement?

Why are way too many black youth living by the notion that getting educated is “acting white” while our mostly white-run entertainment industry tells them the ONLY way out of poverty is playing basketball or rapping for their enjoyment and ultimate profit? Is it really black culture for our youth to dress in a manner that is not only the negative stereotype but also will make them potentially unhireable?

The left will not come right out and say it, but it’s clear one of their responses to the negative black experience is keeping abortion legal and readily available.

According to statistics from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, “Since 1973, more than twice as many blacks have died from abortion than from heart disease, cancer, accidents, violent crimes and AIDS combined; blacks make up about 12 percent of the population in the U.S. but account for 32 percent of the abortions; and about 1,450 black infants are aborted every day in this country.”

Clenard Childress, Jr., director of the Northeast Chapter of the Life Education and Resource Network, said, “For every five African-American women who get pregnant, three have an abortion.”

Until any number of the so-called “black leaders” and those who are influential stand up and hold black people responsible for their decisions and not find excuses for the absence of the simplistic concept of right-and-wrong, crime in the black community will remain disproportionately high and white liberals can sit in front of cameras and sanctimoniously lament all they want.

They’re free and financially comfortable. Must be nice.
