Not by the sports media per se, but by the very girlfriend who quashed a done deal over a year ago.

Colin Kaepernick’s girlfriend, Nessa, is among those who believe the NFL is intentionally keeping the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback out of the league. She wasn’t the only one to insinuate as much, as former NFL player Charles Woodson told TMZ, “There’s a lot of guys that are in the conversation to be picked up. We know the reason [Kaepernick is] not one of those guys … but he should be.“

TMZ also noted former cornerback Antonio Cromartie suggested Kaepernick is better than the list of quarterbacks Washington brought in to work out after Alex Smith suffered an injury in Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans.
— Bleacher Report, 11/19/18

So inconvenient for Nessa, but Kaepernick may have been playing on an NFL field today had it not been for her opportunist “activist” big mouth… and more.

Of course, the media and the activist left will never admit that Nessa’s direct interference in the Baltimore Ravens deal is THE reason Colin Kaepernick is not throwing footballs on an NFL field for an NFL team today.

As the entire world knows by now, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick refused to stand for the National Anthem in Friday’s pre-season game against Green Bay because he was protesting ‘black oppression’ in the United States. We’re now hearing that it was actually his girlfriend Nessa’s idea for Colin to protest.

Fox News also looked into the couple and found evidence that seems to show that his “conversion to social activism” happened only after he began dating his girlfriend, DJ Nessa Diab. Her social media account has plenty of photos and posts related to her job as a DJ but it also shows her stance as a black rights activist and Islam defender.
— The Grio, 9/3/16

As written before, NFL teams are businesses and their main goal is to win as many football games as possible; not absorb those who have an unrelated off-the-field agenda. Calling a team owner racist with nothing to back it up is also in that things-not-to-do list; especially when your previous on-the-field record was questionable at best.

Especially coming from a girlfriend who may just up and leave her boyfriend once someone of a higher profile and value is available.

The Inconvenient Truth on Colin Kaepernick: Stats

There is a general rule in life that makes absolute common sense: talk only about that which you know. The issue here is people who not only talk about what they don’t know, but make stuff up and say as much on national television.

Gerald Griggs, vice president of the NAACP Atlanta chapter, appeared on Tucker Carlson’s Fox News program to discuss the whole Colin Kaepernick issue and the two sports illiterates went at it. However, football (unlike activism) is a game of stats and almost every statistic that came out of Griggs’ mouth was an unforced fumble. We’re not sure where Griggs came up with some of his statistics, but the left is notorious for throwing out questionable, yet easily recitable numbers like 1-in-5 or 97% that’s blindly repeated as fact.

Seeing how his fellow activists could be sports ignorant, throwing around dubious numbers to make the point was clearly the objective.

The fact that only 16 other quarterbacks have a higher quarterback rating than Colin Kaepernick speaks a lot to what’s going on with the NFL and the reason why we believe this is an issue of race.
— Gerald Griggs, Tucker Carlson Tonight, 8/25/17

Again, we’re not sure where Griggs came up with Kaepernick being the “17th best quarterback in the league” in 2016, even though that would also make him a numerical mediocre in a league of 32 teams, because according to ESPN, he ranked a lot lower than what Griggs repeatedly told Fox News viewers.

Colin Kaepernick was dead last in the passer rating and the only one with negative rating points. He was second to last when it came to expected points off of an opposing team’s penalty, second to last in overall quarterback snaps because when you can’t make first downs, you don’t stay on the field long.

To be fair, there was ONE statistic where Colin Kaepernick led the league and that was yards per rush.

Seeing how the San Francisco 49ers finished winning only two out of 14 games in 2016, Kaepernick spent most of his time running for his life because he was ineffective; not because he was that good.

<a class="cb-lightbox fs-lightbox-element" title="Protesters against the NFL's behavior towards Kaepernick came out in droves with signs supporting the athlete.
The National Football League is not at all worried about a boycott by people who probably don’t watch football on Sunday, know little about Kaepernick’s unimpressive on-the-field performance over the last few years, and couldn’t even tell you what division his old team is in. Aside from chanting “No justice, no peace” outside of a stadium where the field is called the gridiron upon which teams battle, they are irrelevant to football organizations, the League, and knowledgeable fans.

As stated before, the reasons Colin Kaepernick is still without a job are…

Colin Kaepernick is supposedly protesting the unfair treatment of young black males by law enforcement. What he’s conveniently leaving out of the discussion is the main reason young black males are in vulnerable positions in the first place: the absence of responsible black fathers in the home.

Given his background, not sure how he can truly relate.

A statistic as glaring as 77% of blacks being born into homes with no father would be worthy of that “discussion” but it’s a fact liberals tiptoe and instead actively glorify the status of the single mothers who raise NFL stars.

The white elites at ESPN, the NFL on CBS, the NFL on Fox, the NFL Network AND Colin Kaepernick are too chickshit to broach the real reason for young black males’ overrepresentation in the criminal justice system as it would put a spotlight on the Democrat encouragement of black mothers to rely on a social system that financially rewards the absence of a father.

In a “Squawk Alley” interview, Galloway said the sportswear and athletic shoe giant took a calculated risk in choosing the polarizing Kaepernick, who started kneeling during the national anthem in 2016, when he was on the San Francisco 49ers, to protest the treatment of African-Americans in the U.S.

Nike did the math, figuring about 60 percent of its full-year revenue is generated outside North America and “no one overseas thinks America is handling race issues well,” Galloway said, adding “two-thirds of customers under the age of 40 tend to bias progressive” and they’re the prime users of Nike products.

With all due respect to the professor, who really gives a shit what other countries think and to give them a position of moral superiority when it comes to race is dangerously naive. There are many nations around the world that give blacks a fraction of the freedoms we enjoy here. And while “two-thirds of customers under the age of 40 tend to bias progressive”, I’d like to know just how many of those two-thirds are actually the ones paying for the high-priced products and not their parents.

Kaepernick on Monday tweeted a photo of the advertisement, which quickly went viral online, spawning support and backlash. Then Nike dropped the commercial Wednesday on YouTube.

Kaepernick’s Baggage

With the recent season-ending injuries creating possible openings in the National Football League, the controversy surrounding the availability of Colin Kaepernick has reemerged.

Of course, the media and the activist left will never admit that Nessa’s direct interference in the Baltimore Ravens deal is THE reason Colin Kaepernick is not throwing footballs on an NFL field for an NFL team today.

As written before, NFL teams are businesses and their main goal is to win as many football games as possible; not absorb those who have an unrelated off-the-field agenda. Calling a team owner racist with nothing to back it up is also on that things-not-to-do list; especially when your previous on-the-field record was questionable at best and almost everything made worse by a girlfriend who may just up and leave once someone of a higher profile and value is available.

Settlement Fail

There was supposedly dancing in the streets for Colin Kaepernick after it was reported that he reached a settlement against the NFL for colluding to keep him out of football.

The NFL and lawyers for players Colin Kaepernick and Eric Reid jointly announced Friday that they had settled a complaint of collusion by the players, who claimed football team owners blackballed them because they had protested racial injustice and police brutality by kneeling during the playing of the national anthem before games.
— CNBC, 2/15/19

And we were talking big bucks!

The settlement is confidential, but Colin Kaepernick sure looks happy the day after striking a deal with the NFL. Colin posed with his legal team — led by Mark Geragos and Ben Meiselas — early Saturday morning with a big ol’ smile on his face.

There are reports the settlement could be close to $100 million, but so far nobody is saying anything.

The problem is some people just wouldn’t stop talking and that’s not good when you sign an non-disclosure agreement in order to receive your payoff. You don’t poke the bear.

What was privately a victory yesterday will be publicly made to look like something entirely different today.

Colin Kaepernick and Eric Reid’s collusion grievance settlement with the NFL was for much less than many expected.

According to The Wall Street Journal’s Andrew Beaton, Kaepernick and Reid will receive less than $10 million from the NFL to settle their collusion grievances with the league. It’s unclear how the settlement will be divided and how much the players will receive after legal fees, according to Beaton.
— Business Insider, 3/21/19

And what screwed it all up again? A familiar name that keeps coming up….

Until mouths are shut, it’s just about football and only those who actually play the game, no one will want Colin Kaepernick and his baggage anywhere near their team.

“Integrity of the game”… THIS from the league that’s changed the way defenses play in order to favor the offense. Why? To enhance the experience of fans involved in what amounts to online betting (fantasy football). The NFL changed their on-the-field rules to promote BETTING!

Gimme a break: “integrity of the game”. But back to “cheating”, which just happens to be a tradition carried out since the early days of the NFL….

The National Football League has kept many instances of “cheating” low key, because to be honest, they concerned teams (and/or players) few really care about in the grand scheme of things. But while the League and the media’s decided to make an example of the New England Patriots, the NFL’s integrity is shit and there are many examples that have occurred south and west of Connecticut and Rhode Island….

New York Giants, Ben McAdoo fined $200K total for walkie-talkies
Okay, it’s 2016. Who uses “walkie talkies” anymore? Your average young person is probably Googling as we speak to find out just what we’re talking about here. Sorry, but a “walkie talkie” isn’t something we bring with us wherever we go, let alone just happen to have a set ready during an NFL playoff game.

Or maybe some teams do…?

Atlanta Falcons lose 2016 pick for pumping fake noise
For those out there who actually know something about the game, increasing crowd noise can adversely affect the play-calling ability of the visiting team’s offense and special teams, most often resulting in frequent “false start” and/or “delay of game” calls (resulting in negative penalty yards) and a disruption of the team’s rhythm and making scoring more difficult.

Probably not as easy to notice if referees and the League aren’t tipped off.

Talk about a mixed message: the NFL said the use of “stickum towels” wasn’t a violation, fined them anyway, meanwhile former players say cheating is business as usual. A sentiment that doesn’t match the anguish of the sanctimonious.

San Francisco 49er Jerry Rice wasn’t just another player. His resume was a no-brainer when it came to voting him into the NFL Hall of Fame. Whether or not he deserves an asterisk next to his name is a discussion that may be coming sooner, rather than later.

And as for holier-than-thou, Mr. Integrity Cris Carter…?

Great point.

Its creators rank each team’s documented “cheats” for severity — the Patriots actually fall in the middle of the pack among the NFL’s biggest cheaters at No. 15. Also — and we’re sure this is purely coincidental — here are the top four cheaters in the NFL, again per the site’s arbitrary rankings:

1. Denver Broncos
2. Pittsburgh Steelers
3. New York Jets
4. Indianapolis Colts

Coincidentally, those four teams probably would be considered the Patriots’ four biggest rivals. Not only that, the New York Giants — who have defeated the Patriots twice in the Super Bowl — come in at No. 6, and New England’s other biggest rivals, the Baltimore Ravens, come in at No. 7.
— NESN, 5/15/15

And one can’t fault the Patriots in not trusting the ability of the League to fairly conduct an investigation when internal, anonymous NFL “sources” arbitrarily release juicy little tidbits to the media for the expressed purpose of leading public opinion in a desired direction.

The investigation found the footballs were inflated 2 pounds per square inch below what’s required by NFL regulations during the Pats’ 45-7 victory over the Indianapolis Colts, according to sources.

The other 10 balls that reportedly were two pounds under may have been, as the source explained it, closer to one pound below 12.5 PSI.
— NBC Sports, 1/25/15

Meanwhile, Fox Sports and NBC Sports have cited unnamed sources who claim that an unidentified attendant who took 24 game balls into a bathroom before the game is being eyed as a person of interest in the scandal.

In conversations I’ve had with several key sources who always have a good sense of what goes on at 345 Park Ave., there is little doubt that Goodell considers Brady’s role in DeflateGate a serious violation.

A fish rots from the head and that starts with Roger Goodell on down and when it comes to the “integrity of the game”, also take a look at the half-assed officiating. The Dallas Cowboys would probably agree.

He was doing what many absent black fathers won’t do, and he’s being punished for it.

A grand jury has indicted star NFL running back Adrian Peterson on a felony charge of injury to a child, spurring the Montgomery County, Texas, Sheriff’s Office to issue a warrant for his arrest. Authorities didn’t divulge details Friday about what led to the charge. But Peterson’s lawyer said the “charged conduct involves using a switch to spank his son” — explaining that his client did so while doling out discipline “much like “he experienced as a child growing up in east Texas.”

The Minnesota Vikings came back a short time later to announce that its offensive catalyst has been deactivated for Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots.

Clearly, the liberal ninnies hate the “violent” nature of the NFL (I’d be very surprised if all-things-women advocate Kim Gandy can tell us the name of the team that plays in Charlotte), their media is running with fast and loose conclusions, dragging the domestic violence-thing out as long as it will elevate their deservedly poor ratings.

What’s most frustrating is the media selective outrage and hypocrisy.

This is Obama’s America. It’s like the Soviet Union. He said he’d change the country. He said it. He said it. He said it. And a lot of people voted for him. And if you see any of those people today, punch them in the face.
— Andrea Tantaros, May 23, 2013

Wasn’t that the high-and-mighty Andrea Tantaros calling for violence?

I just mention this to set up the fact that Tantaros is very capable of saying stupid things, like telling people to do something she’d never have the guts to do herself. Granted, we all know she wasn’t serious but that didn’t stop her from saying more stupid shit.

Had any man today used Tantaros’ words we’d be talking extended mea culpas followed by suspension or worse. But when a woman’s big mouth is activated, we’re all supposed to look the other way. Ask Janay Rice how that works, and kudos for Greg Gutfeld interjecting that inconvenient truth called “facts”.

Black males experienced intimate partner violence at a rate about 62% higher than that of white males and about 22 times the rate of men of other races.
— American Bar Association

Maybe Tantaros should spend a little time on the World Star Hip Hop video site to see some Janays at their non-violent, “victim” finest.

Ray Rice lost his job over an off-the-field incident where no charges were filed, he was suspended by the team for two games until “TMZ Sports” strategically released another view of the elevator incident and was fired from the pussified Baltimore Ravens organization. I say “pussified” because Washington Redskins owner Daniel Snyder is seemingly the only high profile sports personality to give a middle finger to the politically correct liberal media who seeks blood whenever anyone’s weak sensitivities have been bruised.

Atlanta Hawks majority owner Bruce Levenson had to sell his stake of the team after emails from 2012 were revealed that on the surface would send your average hypersensitive black into convulsions, but were inconveniently true and something any business owner should rightfully consider.

Now, every sports personality, male, female, active, retired, has something to bloviate when it comes to the male-on-female domestic violence pile-on. We never hear anything when it happens the other way around like that loud, violent woman in Hawaii.

And now Adrian Peterson has been taken off the field because he was disciplining his son.

When investigators questioned Peterson, they say he told them he regarded it as a normal spanking and not excessive. A grand jury seated earlier this summer decided not to charge him.

Wonder what changed their minds?

I was hesitant to look at this as a race issue but both Rice and Peterson’s cases were initially examined by the authorities and laid to rest, that is until the liberal media raised it to a double-jeopardy level that ended with black men being abnormally punished.

Imagine what this country would look like if there were more black fathers disciplining their sons? But no, now that’s a criminal offense.

Because we ARE (for the most part) talking about liberals, let’s see what happens when the next celebrity commits an act that pushes the buttons of the media royalty. If you impose the new “Rice Rule”, there had better be people fired and banned from their professions.

The next senator who lets a woman drown in his car should not be able to serve four more decades and receive a dignitary’s funeral. I don’t want to hear any excuses like “He (or she) was elected by the people and can’t be removed”. The next president who commits multiple acts of sexual harassment in a workplace (especially a federal workplace) should be removed immediately and not be left to serve out his term just because his wife could live with it. The next cable news host who settles his sexual harassment case out of court should be fired and banned from television because we all know women NEVER make this stuff up.

If you think about it, Tantaros was not only being truthful but she was showing us all just how little those overpaid big mouths on cable news think of their consumers. Whether it be self-righteous blowhards like Bill O’Reilly, Erin Burnett, Bill Maher, Al Sharpton, Eric Bolling, Nancy Grace, Carol “barf bag” Costello, Mark Levin, Andrea Mitchell, Harvey Levin and “TMZ Sports” as well as all the other originality-challenged talkers who’ve jumped on the bus Ray Rice was thrown under, they should be very careful because they’ve immortalized their over-dramatic opines thus they’ve set a standard they’ll be expected to live by.

Should they screw up, it will be very interesting to watch the contortions and whiny justifications they’ll perform to save their jobs, we’ll be as forgiving as they were, and they won’t like that a bit.

Oh, well.

Again, I’m not saying it’s okay for men to hit women but there are women out there who’ve now been given the green light to abuse and their men know they will be vilified (and worse) should they retaliate.

Flashback: According to our tipster, word at the Revel early Saturday morning was that a woman — presumably fiancée Janay Palmer — had spit on Rice and that in retaliation, he uppercut her, knocking her completely unconscious.

Let’s hold off on the punch for just a second here… imagine the outrage from the politically correct-women’s studies left had Rice spat on Janay? He may as well have just given her the back of his hand, pulled her back by the hair; you know where I’m going with this. It would have been likened to rape, slavery, etc.

Now, how many times have you heard, prior to NFL Commissioner Goodell’s sentencing of Rice, of Palmer’s provocation (that’s right, I said it!).

I know of very few people who wouldn’t have a visceral response to being spat in the face and the liberal feminist supporters would have been on record defending such an action. But by the usual bias-by-omission, they were spared that inconvenience and Ray Rice was just a bad man punching out a poor, innocent, defenseless woman.

Again, remember the words of Whoopi and Chris….

Even more so than on campus, it’s open season on men. If you can spit on a man, what else can be done to him that can be gotten away with, first by the media not reporting it, but later when her actions are revealed, they are taken as irrelevant?

Why are we getting the clip in selective segments? The most recent clip made public doesn’t show Ray Rice cornering and slugging Janay. She was coming at him as he dropped her. We have NO IDEA what happened in that elevator but the activists don’t seem to think that matters.

And now, to make matters worse…

Video of Ray Rice’s attack on his then-fiancee apparently was the last straw for the Baltimore Ravens, who announced Monday afternoon they’ve terminated the embattled running back’s contract.

The gutless Baltimore Ravens have let the media dictate their football operations and the reality of the situation has now reached into the Rice household….

“I woke up this morning feeling like I had a horrible nightmare, feeling like I’m mourning the death of my closest friend,” Janay Rice wrote. “But to have to accept the fact that it’s reality is a nightmare in itself. No one knows the pain that [the] media & unwanted options from the public has caused my family. To make us relive a moment in our lives that we regret every day is a horrible thing. To take something away from the man I love that he has worked his [butt] of for all his life just to gain ratings is horrific.

“THIS IS OUR LIFE! What don’t you all get. If your intentions were to hurt us, embarrass us, make us feel alone, take all happiness away, you’ve succeeded on so many levels. Just know we will continue to grow & show the world what real love is! Ravensnation we love you!”
— Janay Rice, Instagram

I’m looking forward to the next sanctimonious pundit, actor, or politician being “suspended indefinitely” the next time they commit violence on anyone, no matter what prompted it.

And the joke called “TMZ Sports” had better keep their noses clean because there are many that would love to see this hatchet organization take a big fall.
