During a Season 1 episode of NBC’s “The Apprentice”, Donald Trump took an opportunity to address this when it appeared to be happening within one of the teams.

Although it’s tough for some to be intellectually honest in admitting many people will use whatever physical attributes they have for an advantage and complain (or #MeToo sue) when the expected results don’t pan out, Donald Trump broached this issue early during his fourteen season run on NBC.

Maybe his honest and level-headed approach is one reason the network chose to pull the successful programs from online viewing after he announced his bid for the presidency in 2015. The American people would have seen someone who is not afraid to say what many have always been thinking.

Sarah Silverman has been canceled. A Hollywood director fired the progressive comedian because of a sketch she performed a dozen years ago.

“I recently was going to do a movie … a sweet part,” Silverman said on a podcast this month. “Then, at 11 p.m. the night before, they fired me because they saw a picture of me in blackface from that episode.”

The first line in this USA Today opinion piece by this Jon Gabriel is an insult to anyone who’s been paying attention. It says alot about what he assumes about their audience.

Cancel culture is spreading for one simple reason: It works. Instead of debating ideas or competing for entertainment dollars, you can just demand that anyone who annoys you be cast out of polite society.

Way back in the mists of time, say five years ago, if you didn’t like a TV show or movie, you wouldn’t watch it. Now you can ensure that no one watches it, just by slinging some outrage on social media.

Actually, that’s what conservatives do. When actors, musicians, and athletes insult us (and they do a lot lately), we stop watching their television shows, movies, turn off their games and stop buying their music. We don’t seek to banish them into oblivion, primarily because it doesn’t work. Liberals can do some of the most heinous things in society and still manage to get work. They can sexually assault, beat their wives, drive drunk, plagiarize, say racist things on camera, even call a vice presidential candidate a “cunt” and you’ll still see them on our televisions, movie screens, on the field and on our radios.

Conversely, morally superior progressives will seek the professional destruction of any conservative who crosses a moral line and most of the time, it works.

Our woke mentality is America’s new Puritanism. Instead of a handy list of sins written thousands of years ago, modern sins are ever-changing. A joke that was deemed progressive a decade ago is retroactively condemned as hate speech.

This climate is a liberal creation, embraced by the left when conservatives could be bullied. Bon appetit!

“If you say the wrong thing,” Silverman said, “everyone is, like, throwing the first stone. It’s a perversion. It’s really, ‘Look how righteous I am, and now I’m going to press refresh all day long to see how many likes I get in my righteousness.’”

There is nothing “new” about this. The left is now lamenting on, like many other things, how their tables have been turned back on them. Poor babies.

They cheered when Roseanne Barr lost her job over some not-so-well-thought-through Tweets, not to mention notable casualties like Don Imus, Paula Deen, and Bill O’Reilly. Meanwhile Democrat Ralph “blackface” Northam got a pass and is still in the Virginia governor’s mansion simply because he gave the finger to those who demanded he go away.

Anytime the social media lynch mob of anonymous trolls can beat a target into a whimpering mess, begging for forgiveness, that may not even be enough. Some will just tell you to kill yourself. But when liberals are busted, like during the Bill Clinton – Monica Lewinsky adultery scandal, the left defended him by saying “Everybody does it.” In this case, no, everybody doesn’t do this. It’s almost exclusively from those on the unhinged left who are still in full punish mode after the last presidential election and they flushed all sense of civility down the toilet.

But alas, it’s happening to Hollywood liberals and their overpaid careers are in potential jeopardy, the standard “That’s not who I am” response is not enough, so now it’s something we ALL need to talk about.

Star 102, WDOK-FM, calls itself “Cleveland’s Christmas station.” But its listeners are discovering that one holiday chestnut has been kicked to the curb. “Baby, It’s Cold Outside,” the duet in which a man tries to dissuade a woman from leaving a party despite her repeated protestations, has been pulled from the station’s Christmas playlist amid concerns about its predatory nature.

Seriously.

Penned by “Guys and Dolls” writer Frank Loesser in 1944, the Christmas song is perceived by some as unworthy for the most wonderful time of the year — particularly in the age of #MeToo.

“The character in the song is saying, ‘No,’ and they’re saying well, ‘Does no really mean yes?’ and I think in 2018, what we know is consent is ‘Yes’ and if you get a ‘No’ it means ‘No’ and you should stop right there,” Sondra Miller, president of the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center, told WJW-TV. “I’ve asked them to stop and think about the perspective of a survivor who was raped in that type of circumstance.”

More radio stations ban ‘Baby It’s Cold Outside’ amid #MeToo controversy

Now how many #MeToo activists have publicly objected to the fact that 465.3 million have viewed the following video on the socially-sensitive YouTube platform; a “song” that would clearly be offensive to today’s “survivor” demographic save for the fact it’s probably on many of their Spotify playlists.

Those who look down on and tell us all how we’re supposed to think are also guilty of not seeking out the best while distributing filth because they think so little of the ability of those they employ and the dignity of their consumers.

Earlier this month, Spotify introduced its new Hate Content and Hateful Conduct Policy. Its aim was to minimize their promotion of problematic artists, and led to R. Kelly and XXXTentacion’s music being removed from their curated playlists. Many, including followers of the #MuteRKelly movement, praised Spotify’s new ruling, but plenty others — including Kendrick Lamar — have expressed concern and disapproval over what they believed to be a form of targeted censorship against artists of color.

Some of these so-called “artists of color” are downright embarrassing examples of limited talent who squander golden opportunities with creations of questionable aesthetic value. Maybe it’s a generational thing but I’m failing to see the “art”.

With all of the talented musicians and composers in the United States alone who are languishing without any opportunity to produce real music, record companies are more interested in distributing shit like this….

I know how hard it is to get any of the so-called artists, record and publishing companies to take a listen to original music; music it took months to compose, produce, perform, and mix to a competitive level. It’s sad watching today’s accepted acts whose music is subdued and lyrics that are narcissistic and depressing.

Contrast that with songs created that were justifiably overplayed on the radio back in the day but when performed with the appropriate professionalism, blows away anything created by shit talkers or the coffee shop snoozers.

When the looking-to-be-offended socially depressed decide to get the courage to take on the clearly sexist, racist, violence-embracing so called “music” assaulting the soundwaves of the general public, we have no time for their finding (what THEY consider) warped messages in songs written a generation-plus earlier hashtags were even contemplated as a vehicle for social awareness.

Until music company executives show any modicum of respect for the craft and continue to elevate the talentless who produce “songs” that aren’t allowed to be played in their own children’s rooms, we’ll have yet another double standard where real music is censored and shit is justified and mainstreamed.

And unappreciated classics will be left out in the cold.

The Kansas City Chiefs announced they were cutting Hunt on Friday, after video of the assault was published by TMZ. In the video, Hunt and the woman trade words in a hallway and are separated by several people on multiple occasions. Hunt pushes the woman, who responds by hitting him in the face. Two men escort Hunt down a hallway before he charges out, colliding with a man who then knocks the woman over. Hunt also kicks the woman in the leg.

The Chiefs said Hunt was not truthful in his discussions with the team about what happened, leading to the decision to part ways with him. Sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter and ESPN’s Chris Mortensen that the NFL did not interview the woman in its investigation.

As in the Ray Rice incident, we have no idea what a “19-year-old” woman was even doing at 3:22AM in an Ohio hotel and later said to get this all started prior to what “TMZ Sports” posted online.

She clearly wasn’t there to sell Girl Scout cookies.

Again, this brings up the whole notion that a woman can say or do anything to a man without repercussions.

Remember the word we were all told to avoid when it comes to such occurrences and a woman goes too far: provoke.

As New England Patriots supporters, we are in no way fans or sympathizers of the Kansas City Chiefs or Kareem Hunt. We are well aware of the ramifications of the Chiefs losing one of their top two players going into the winter months and the possible effect on playoff seeding which will determine the possible climates the Chiefs may have to play through in January.

But if this happened last February, why are we just hearing about it now?

While it’s politically incorrect to question the motives of a “victim”, a reasonable person could rightly ask how you’d address your 19-year-old being in a hotel after three in the morning, what you could possibly have said to an NFL millionaire to so piss him off as to shove you away and why in the world you’d proceed to ramp it up with violence of your own?

Young professional athletes are warned what to look out for when it comes to the opposite sex.

When educating players about the evil that lurks in skirts, it’s important to teach humility, says Satch Sanders, who runs the NBA’s player programs (including a 4 1/2-day seminar similar to MLB’s). “I remind rookies of their physical, uh, prowess and the money they make. Then I say, ‘If you were not that attractive to ladies growing up, believe me, you didn’t turn into Denzel overnight. If two or three women are discerning enough to see your good points, fine. But 30 or 40? Can so many women be so perceptive?’” Of course, convincing a $10-million-a-year 22-year-old forward that he’s not quite as “all that” as the ladies say may be the biggest lost cause in history. Keeping pro ballers out of their own way — at least when it comes to the opposite sex — may just be a task for greater powers.

As the woman in the Kareem Hunt incident has not been questioned, we have no idea what she said and what she was doing at the hotel in the first place. The whole “a man should never hit a woman” becomes a convenient and necessary cover if the woman decides to go too far, especially when it can result in a significant payday.

Motivation and incentives are very important (see: Erica Kinsman).

Meanwhile, the complexion of the NFL seeding have been affected and not in favor of the Kansas City Chiefs. And as this incident happened and has been sat upon since February, who leaked this to TMZ Sports at a time when the cold weather/running game factor enters the NFL equation going into the last month of the season and playoffs? Taking running back Kareem Hunt out has serious implications for a moderate temperature-Kansas City team that may have to go to an arctic climate down the stretch.

The Chiefs have won just one playoff game in 24 years, and that was against Brian Hoyer. The Chiefs were the winningest team of the 1990s, and only made it as far as the AFC Championship Game once. Since 1990, no team has lost more playoff games while winning fewer.

Since the NFL playoffs expanded to the current format, teams with a first-round bye have won 74 percent of the division games. The Chiefs are 0-5 in that spot. Twice they’ve had homefield advantage throughout the playoffs, and bupkis.

So, a very public verdict of Kareem Hunt’s guilt and punishment has been meted out to appease that flaky court of public opinion; many of whom couldn’t tell you what division the Chiefs are in.

As we first reported, the woman repeatedly told Cleveland PD officers who responded to the scene she wanted to press charges. In the bodycam video we posted, she asked to see the surveillance footage, and also asked the police to look at it. So, the question is … WHY has she gone silent? We’ve reached out to her several times, but no reply.

NFL Still Clueless Involving Players Abusing Women

Obviously, NFL players aren’t defended as competently as Hollywood actors and certain politicians.

It makes one wonder if Kareem Hunt is a Republican. We all know if he’s a Democrat, he could assault a woman and even be elected attorney general.

Go figure.

UPDATE:

Like the Ray Rice incident, more was made over the publicly-distributed video than what precipitated the controversy because, according to PC rules, we’re NEVER to ask what the woman did to “provoke” and/or escalate tensions. It would appear the rush to judgment regarding Kareem Hunt may have resulted in a different outcome had ALL of the details been publicly put forth prior to the disciplinary actions of the Kansas City Chiefs and National Football League.

In interviews they would later give to police, as captured in police video and reports, Hunt and his friends say everyone in their group was getting along fine throughout the evening of Feb. 9. It was only when they got back to the hotel that things deteriorated.

“I only know those girls through a friend,” Rayshawn Watkins, Hunt’s teammate from Toledo, tells officers in the video. “They invited us to a club tonight. We got to the club, and they were overly drunk, as you can tell. But come to find out, they’re not even 21. They’re 19 years old. We were like, ‘Can you guys please leave us alone?’”

Watkins tells police Abby Ottinger, a 19-year-old Kent State student from Middleburg Heights, Ohio and her friend, Dominique Hamilton, got along fine with everyone throughout the evening, but that ended inside Hunt’s residence. According to Watkins’ account, Hunt said Ottinger and Hamilton couldn’t stay the night. Watkins says he offered $20 when they said they didn’t have enough money for an Uber ride home. “We’re college students, right?” Ottinger says.

The women somehow got themselves to Cleveland but it was going to be someone else’s responsibility to get them back to their residence.

Got it.

After he sent them into the hall, Ottinger began to scream and pound on the door, according to his account.

“They’re in the hallway, like standing by the elevator,” Watkins tells police. “I come out and I’m like, ‘You guys are being too loud. Please just leave us alone.’ She started freaking out, grabbing the back of my head. She broke my necklace. She tried calling me the N-word. She called us niggers and shit like that. We’re like, ‘There is no point of you to do that. We just want you to leave us alone.’ Then they started getting aggressive, hitting us.”

Ottinger could not be reached for comment by Outside the Lines.

Why should she when the damage was done, she was prematurely pronounced the victim, and she gets to walk away?

The alleged victim in the February 2018 incident involving former Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt initially wanted to press charges. Now, 19-year-old Abby Ottinger simply wants to be left alone.

A comprehensive review of the situation conducted by ESPN’s Outside The Lines included an effort to speak to Ottinger. A member of her family told ESPN on Wednesday that “the whole incident has been very difficult for her and that all she wants now is her privacy.”

Some league insiders have speculated that Hunt and Ottinger reached a settlement.

At the end of the day, when it comes to these cleat-chasers, it’s all about getting paid one way or another.

Kareem Hunt has entered “anger management” training however no word if Abby Ottinger will be required to attend sensitivity training because some women get a pass no matter how far over the line they cross.

Eric Schneiderman, New York’s attorney general, has long been a liberal Democratic champion of women’s rights, and recently he has become an outspoken figure in the #MeToo movement against sexual harassment.

Four women allege that he repeatedly hit them, often after drinking, frequently in bed and never with their consent. Michelle Manning Barish and Tanya Selvaratnam categorize the abuse he inflicted on them as “assault.” They did not report their allegations to the police at the time, but both say that they eventually sought medical attention after having been slapped hard across the ear and face, and also choked. Selvaratnam says that Schneiderman warned her he could have her followed and her phones tapped, and both say that he threatened to kill them if they broke up with him.

Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN) was considered the favorite to win a five-way Democratic primary for attorney general in Minnesota on Tuesday; then he was accused of abuse by former girlfriend Karen Monahan — an accusation he vehemently denies. This is the second time Ellison has been publicly accused of domestic violence. Another woman, Amy Louise Alexander, spoke out in 2006, going public with her account that Ellison verbally abused her while they were having an affair. She also said he grabbed and pushed her during an argument. Ellison denied even having a relationship with her.

There are several similarities between the accounts: Both women were involved in Minnesota progressive politics, and they described Ellison losing his temper and using threats, verbal harassment, and violence.

There was no national media outrage, in fact if you didn’t know where to look, it was if these incidents never happened… that is, until the verdicts came in.

So, one accused abuser goes home and the other will be going after anyone in the State of Minnesota he wants as their top law enforcement officer and lawyer.

It was so much easier because the Democrat Party and the media have Schneiderman and Ellison’s backs and that was all they really needed.

The embattled lieutenant governor of Virginia released a statement on Saturday, denying recent allegations of sexual assault and rape as the state continues to find its top Democratic leaders embroiled in scandal.

“I say again without reservation: I did not sexually assault or rape Meredith Watson, Vanessa Tyson or anyone else,” Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax said in the statement. Fairfax was accused by two women of sexual assault, including rape by one of the women. In his statement on Saturday, he acknowledges both interactions with the women, but says both instances were consensual.

One of the main contributors was the loud feminist mantra, “I don’t need a man” that left some women with a fist held high in one hand and a smoldering bra in the other, while other women just threw up their hands in the frustration of self-inflicted sabotage.

We can only imagine the conversations that were had between parents and their young male sons who just left the nest for a college campus. How many responsible parents warned those sons to be VERY careful with any female student they would come in contact with, all the precautions that would need to be considered before having any contact with one that could possibly be a love interest, and the possible negative ramifications of such an interest that could follow them for the rest of their lives.

Suppose a woman wakes up in the morning after a sexual encounter and then labels it sexual assault, to the surprise of her sexual partner. Did this woman regret having sex and then say she was a victim so she doesn’t have to come to terms with her actions? Is she lying about being sexually assaulted so people don’t think she is a slut?

If you have to pose this as a defensive scenario, there’s an inconvenient element of truth that needed to be initially acknowledged.

But we’re told we must #BelieveWomen….

After the stigma placed on men with the implementation of Title IX on campus and more recently the #MeToo movement, how long before women (again) start whining because fewer men are giving them the time of day, let alone a date or assistance in a workplace. Men are now rightfully being very careful.

Women, as portrayed by Democrats, their media and activists, are not looking very attractive and we don’t just mean physically. They’re coming off as unhinged and few men find that kind of potential drama as a positive draw. A lot of these women also appear to be on a revenge mission which leaves any man in contact with them in potential jeopardy, which also translates to the workplace or any space that men and women cohabitate.

Prior to #MeToo, cautious male supervisors would always leave an office door open when talking to a female, equal or subordinate. How many employers have had to absorb the expense of creating really cool offices with glass walls; not because of the attractive aesthetics but to protect themselves from potential accusations of what may or may not have been said or done behind an opaque wall or closed door?

As in most movements that are not well-thought through, there are serious ramifications for impulsive action. Sure, some of these women will find solace within the sisterhood, declare themselves bisexual so they can achieve immediate gratification, but for those who don’t swing that way, the isolation will grow and the frustration will again become a vocal rallying cry.

This time, it’s a different world.

During the Gloria Steinem days of feminist empowerment, it was all about recognition and independence. She and others also claimed to be speaking for all women. Today, #MeToo is all about payback and they claim to be speaking for all women. The problem this time is that some of these women have husbands, brothers, sons and others who are potential targets of those who have agendas and personal issues, mixed with that nasty lack of conscience. They’ll punish any man who rejects them, didn’t reward them as they saw fit, and in the case of a potential Supreme Court justice who could potentially hamper their ability to do what they want with their bodies (and babies within).

Again, things involving the human condition tend to be cyclical. #MeToo women are using their movement to punish men who they claim abused them. They’ve also cast a wide net and have indicted all men as potential sexual abusers. Democrats are using the Kavanaugh confirmation as midterm election topic, many in the electorate are being justifiably repulsed, and fewer men will hold a door open for a woman, let alone vote for one and her offending political party.

The “Why can’t I find a man?” public whining will begin again. This time, there will be a response because of everything #MeToo.

“No, thanks.”

An infrastructure-investing manager says he won’t meet with a female employee in rooms that don’t have windows; in addition, he “keeps his distance in elevators.” Another man, in private equity, has a new, self-imposed rule that says he’s not allowed to have a business dinner with any women who are 35 or younger. (Apparently, after 35, there’s no risk of doing anything appropriate, as women turn into old hags.)

I think Bess Levin meant “doing anything inappropriate” but correcting a woman’s grammar is probably a bad thing.

The horror stories continue. An investment adviser who oversees roughly 100 employees said he started to reconsider having one-on-ones with junior females. Others are refusing to sit next to female colleagues on flights and booking hotel rooms on different floors during work trips. #MeToo, according to David Bahnsen, a former managing director at Morgan Stanley, is “creating a sense of walking on eggshells.” Men, employment attorney Stephen Zweig told Bloomberg, are concerned about “a false accusation,” and “fear what they cannot control.”

Remember how many times we were all told false accusations are “rare”?

Well, it looks like men have been listening and are now responding accordingly.

In Harper Lee’s novel To Kill a Mockingbird, an all-white jury convicts an innocent black man of raping a white woman in a small 1930s southern town, despite the efforts his lawyer who defies the town’s lynch-mob mentality and proves the victim’s story to be false. It’s a new century, a sequel has just come out – and we still have men being falsely convicted of rape despite the evidence. This time with leftist’s staffing the lynch mobs.

Unfortunately, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas didn’t have the benefit of social media “likes” during his 1991 confirmation hearings so we’ll never know if anyone would have started a GoFundMe campaign on his behalf, but false accusations were lucrative and icon status-creating for Anita Hill and they sure will be for Christine Blasey Ford as long as we’re told to #BelieveWomen and they know it.

Too many men have lost reputations and some are still languishing in prison cells because women lied about being sexually assaulted for a variety of narcissistic reasons, and aided by #BelieveSurvivors activist public attorneys who callously disregarded exculpatory evidence, amp up charges with possible lengthy sentences so lesser plea bargains are accepted. The more people put away, powerful high-paying judgeships are the shiny-thing lure.

Massachusetts prosecutors have violated defendants’ rights to a fair trial regularly and without punishment, even as wrongfully convicted victims of tainted prosecutions have spent years in prison before being freed, decades of court rulings show. Some prosecutors failed to turn over important evidence to defense attorneys or didn’t disclose information bearing negatively on witness credibility, judges said. Others misrepresented evidence in their closing statements to the court.

At least seven prosecutors whose behavior prompted courts to reverse convictions went on to higher posts. Some became judges and district attorneys.

It’s again sad to note how many innocent “ordinary people” have to suffer devastating injustice until someone of “importance” suffers the same plight. All of a sudden, it’s an emergency worthy of attention and immediate action.

Chalk this up to yet another example of liberal shortsightedness. Judge Brett Kavanaugh may have been a nonpartisan before the Supreme Court confirmation process but thanks to Democrats and this experience, he’s understandably a far right-winger now.

Christine Blasey Ford said that during a high-school party Judge Kavanaugh and another boy, Mark Judge, who were both extremely drunk locked her in a bedroom. In her telling of events, Judge Kavanaugh climbed on top of her, covered her mouth, and was trying to remove her clothes. She told The Post that she though he would “inadvertently kill me.”

“On Friday, Judge Kavanaugh ‘categorically and unequivocally’ denied this allegation. This has not changed. Judge Kavanaugh and the White House both stand by that statement,” White House spokesperson Kerri Kupec said in a statement. Mr. Kavanaugh also confirmed Monday he would return to Congress in order to talk about the allegations.

“I am willing to talk to the Senate Judiciary Committee in any way the Committee deems appropriate to refute this false allegation, from 36 years ago and defend my integrity,” he said in a statement. Mr. Kavanaugh also noted that “because this never happened” he had no idea Ms. Ford was the one to accuse him until she revealed herself in The Washington Post.

Christine Blasey Ford has deleted her social media pages.

Ford signed a letter with other health professionals demanding that President Donald Trump stop his controversial policy on family separations at the border. She signed the letter as Christine Blasey, and it was used as an exhibit in an ACLU lawsuit against the Trump administration.

The Washington Post reports that she is a “registered Democrat who has made small contributions to political organizations.”

Martha G. Kavanaugh, the mother of Brett Kavanaugh was a Maryland district judge in 1996. In an amazing coincidence, Martha Kavanaugh was the judge in a foreclosure case in which Christine Blasey-Ford’s parents were the defendants. Now it all becomes clear. Blasey-Ford is going after Brett Kavanaugh, not because of what he did in high school. Instead, Christine Blasey-Ford is going after Brett Kavanaugh out of spite and revenge for a case ruled on by Kavanaugh’s mother. Martha Kavanaugh, Brett’s mother was Montgomery County Circuit Court judge from 1993 until she retired in 2001. During a 1996 foreclosure case, Martha Kavanaugh ruled against the parents of Christine Blasey-Ford in a foreclosure case.

Hugo Lafayette Black, a lawyer and politician from Alabama, was appointed to the U.S. Supreme Court in 1937. Not long after, a reporter exposed his affiliation with notorious racist organization the Ku Klux Klan.

“Justice Black Revealed as Ku Klux Klansman,” reads the headline on the front page of the September 13, 1937 Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Reporter Ray Sprigle’s investigation of Black’s links to the Klan revealed that he joined the organization in September 1923 and resigned almost two years later, in July 1925.

“His resignation, scrawled in longhand on a sheet of the stationery of the Grand Dragon of the Alabama Klan, was the first move of his campaign for the Democratic nomination for United States Senator from Alabama,” Sprigle wrote. But the reporter had also discovered that in September 1926, while he was still running for the Senate, Black was welcomed back into the Klan and given a life membership.

“They brought out no new facts that have not been thoroughly brought out in campaigns in Alabama,” Black wrote in a letter to an acquaintance in late October 1937. “With their practically united press, however (which is chiefly against the President Franklin D. Roosevelt), they had no difficulty in making the public believe that they had broken a startling piece of news.” At a press conference, though, FDR maintained he and the public hadn’t been aware of Black’s links to the Klan.

Some historical records indicate that Roosevelt did know about Black’s association with the KKK, Ball writes. But in terms of the public record, the matter rested there until Black’s death, a week after he retired from the Supreme Court after 34 years. In the course of that career, he made his mark “as a champion of civil rights and liberties,” the New York Times wrote in his obituary.

Democrats continue to cover for the racists in their midst with the help of academia, the entertainment industry and the media, labeling their own racists as “civil rights” champions to blacks and impressionable young people. When liberal Democrats opt to discuss their racism, there’s almost consistently a justifiable excuse.

That a man like Black should have come to join the Klan is one of those facts monstrously hard to grasp until you approach it not as a moral problem but simply as a piece of political behavior. We may regard such a judgment as an error, but it was understandable.

Democrats will do anything to preserve the right of the irresponsible to discard the inconvenient results of the promiscuous. Abortion is not about “women’s health” as they’ve been claiming for decades. Their icon, Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger, has proudly declared as much and black people continue to be their most targeted and coveted demographic.

Democrats are only thorough in vetting when it suits them and they’re also very good at hiding the backgrounds of their own, no matter how damaging and justifiably disqualifying.

Ali, who covers intelligence and national security for Politico, has had a series of important scoops. She broke news that Carter Page, a former Trump campaign adviser, met with a Russian spy in 2013. She also had exclusive new details on China’s harassment of American spies. Last month, she was the first to reveal the name of the Russian woman, Olga Vinogradova, who met with the former Trump adviser George Papadopoulos during the 2016 campaign.

Ali arrived in Washington in 2013 as an intern covering national security for McClatchy, where she was part of a Pulitzer-finalist team that uncovered the C.I.A.’s spying on Senate Intelligence Committee computers.

After McClatchy, Ali covered national security for The Huffington Post and then Buzzfeed before going to Politico.

Ever since the Harvey Weinstein saga broke, we’ve argued that some women were willing to cozy up to a pig in order to have a shot at a lucrative career in Hollywood. However, you’re only as good as your professional talent and when some of the careers didn’t blossom as desired, many of these women are now screaming rape.

The template’s not been thrown out the window altogether….

What is known today is that in December 2013, the Temple University intern had begun a romantic relationship with James A. Wolfe, a man 30 years her senior. He happened to sit amid a flow of juicy information as director of security for the same Senate committee. The reporter-source romance would last four years. Then the FBI intervened.

From McClatchy, she went on to land jobs in quick succession at HuffPost, BuzzFeed, Politico and finally the New York Times, where she resides today at the Washington bureau.

That’s not to say everyone in high-profile journalism screwed their way to the top, but many did, and it prompted us to do some digging on their qualifications to occupy the most prominent positions in the profession; qualifications that can legitimately be questioned.

In most professions, one needs to at least have an educational background, if not a degree, in that chosen profession. However that doesn’t seem to apply to those who work in the highest seats of broadcast journalism.

For some, nepotism and/or sexual favoritism didn’t hurt either.

Of course, this is not to imply that ALL women, especially now millennial women who occupy a growing number of very influential positions in the media and in-and-around Capitol Hill, screwed their way to jobs that they’re relatively inexperienced to have acquired. It does show lazy journalism on Ali Watkins’ part as she found a shortcut to doing her job instead of that “shoe leather” journalism; a shortcut she was rewarded for.

Worked out for some people, and for Ali, once was not enough.

The New York Times published a damaging feature about its own reporter, revealing new details of Ali Watkins’ affair with former Senate Intelligence Committee aide James A. Wolfe.

“Last fall, after Ms. Watkins and Mr. Wolfe had broken up and while she was still reporting on the intelligence committee for Politico, she briefly dated another staff member at the committee, friends said. That relationship, which has not been previously reported, ended when the two decided not to pursue something more serious,” the Times wrote.

Will we see Ali Watkins being stripped of her co-Pulitzer Prize as quickly as Bill Cosby was of his many recognitions? Probably not because women are always the victim. She simply did what she had to do in a man’s profession, even though the numbers are narrowing.

And like a federal government agency, Watkins was not fired for wrongdoing but… reassigned.

The New York Times demoted a reporter who acknowledged a romantic relationship with a Senate staffer who is suspected of leaking information to journalists. Times editor Dean Baquet said Tuesday he would reassign the reporter, Ali Watkins from the paper’s Washington bureau to New York in the wake of revelations that she had been involved with James Wolfe, the former head of security for the Senate Intelligence Committee. Watkins covered the committee for a number of publications, although not the Times.

In a staff memo on Tuesday, Baquet said Watkins would be reassigned to an unspecified position in New York “where she will be closely supervised and have a senior mentor.”

Thanks to Ms. Watkins, all women (especially younger women) will be looked at with that “What did she do to get there?” There was a time when you had to pay dues that required years, if not decades of hard work, to get the attention of the big house on the hill. If you’re a young woman, no matter how much she’ll commiserate with the #MeToo screamers, all it takes is spread your legs.

There are takers and rewards.

Town Administrator Allan R. Chiocca has been placed on paid administrative leave while an external harassment investigation looks into “serious allegations against certain town officials,” town solicitor John Clifford said Tuesday.

Four of the town’s five selectmen gathered Tuesday night and voted immediately to move their meeting behind closed doors in what’s known as “executive session,” which falls under an exception to the state’s open meeting law. After they returned to their public meeting about 15 minutes later, Clifford said the four selectmen had decided to hire attorney Regina Ryan of Discrimination and Harassment Solutions, LLC to look into the allegations.

Selectmen vice chair Deirdre Hall was not present at the meeting. Clifford would not comment further on the nature of the allegations or say why Hall was not at the meeting.

As she’s now implying “rape”, hopefully after hiring an attorney, the Rockland Board of Selectmen will call the cops and press filing-a-false-allegation charge against Hall. That is, IF they have the guts to do so.

Hide behind the children…. IF she did nothing wrong, why is Dierdre Hall excusing herself from elected duties and leaving the town to tear itself apart?

Hall, a married mother, had initially claimed she was too intoxicated to have consensual sex with Chiocca, but the investigation found otherwise.

“Regina Ryan’s account showed that Mrs. Hall was really the aggressor and Mr. Chiocca was not,” said Larry Ryan, who is now Chairman of Rockland’s Board of Selectmen.

What’s even more disturbing is that, according to Fox 25’s report, the “spouses” of Hall and Kimball decided to go along and keep the affairs quiet so Democrat Dierdre Hall’s state representative campaign could go on unaffected.

Women have the power to not only destroy the careers of men but absolve themselves of any responsibility as to their initial consent-turned-assault.

The board released only a two-sentence statement from private investigator Regina Ryan that rejected Hall’s assertion that any sexual activity between her and Chiocca was non-consensual because she was intoxicated. “With respect to the allegation that Ms. Hall violated the town’s discriminatory harassment policy,” Ryan wrote, “I substantiate Mr. Chiocca’s allegation that on May 1-2, 2018, Ms. Hall used her position as a member of the Board of Selectmen, who was actively reviewing and would soon be voting on his request for a contract extension and salary increase, to pressure him into engaging in sexual activities with her.”

This should make you question how many of those actresses in Hollywood who are piling on the Weinstein rape parade were indeed victims or willing participants who didn’t get the career boosts they expected as an ROI.

UPDATE

It appears the Rockland Selectboard was busier than the constituents were told.

Last week, a report by Discrimination and Harassment Solutions, LLC concluded that then-selectman Deirdre Hall used her position as selectman to pressure Chiocca into engaging in sexual acts. Though Hall was found to be at fault, town attorney John Clifford said last week that the investigation identified “other serious misconduct” by Town Administrator Alan Chiocca, which is what led to Tuesday’s disciplinary meeting.

The report also tied Selectman Edward Kimball to the investigation, saying he and Hall were also having an “intense physical and emotional affair” through March and April. The report says Kimball was “furious” to find out about the encounter between Chiocca and Hall, and that he demanded to be shown the surveillance footage without disclosing the nature of his interest.

Allan Chiocca has been on administrative leave since May pending an investigation into “serious allegations” of sexual misconduct. Town officials in Rockland, Massachusetts, agreed Tuesday not to take disciplinary action against the town administrator after an investigation cleared him of sexual misconduct allegations, revealing that his accuser was actually the alleged aggressor.

Allan Chiocca isn’t really “cleared” here. Instead of engaging in sexual activity because he says he was being threatened, he could have reported it, a sting could’ve been set up so it wouldn’t end up being a “he said, she said” because we all know whose word is initially taken. Instead, Chiocca succumbed and he should never be allowed to be employed as a town administrator anywhere every again.

UPDATE

He initially rejected the idea of stepping down as Selectboard chair, was voted out of his chairmanship by his fellow colleagues but as a recall effort gained steam, sparing the potential damage to the ego was apparently was more important than doing right by the people, so…

A selectman targeted in a week-long recall effort has resigned his position. Edward Kimball, an eight-year member of the board, submitted his letter of resignation to the town clerk Tuesday morning.

An independent investigator was hired by the town in May to look into claims by Deirdre Hall that Town Administrator Alan Chiocca had acted inappropriately toward her during an after-hours meeting at town hall that was caught on video. The motion included an affidavit from Kimball, which said Hall approached him and said Chiocca engaged in inappropriate behavior with her.

Kimball’s affidavit implied his interest in the claim about Chiocca was purely professional, but the report says he was “furious” to learn of the encounter and asked IT Director Eric Hart to show him the security footage.

With all the ensuing drama, we still have the false claim of “inappropriate behavior” we now know was instigated by Deirdre Hall, not to mention insidious family members who were able to look the other way for a variety of self-serving reasons.

Meanwhile, some politicians who believe they are entitled to the support of constituents don’t take rejection well.

Police were called to Rockland Town Hall on Wednesday to respond to reports that Edward Kimball was arguing with residents who were collecting signatures to support the selectman’s recall.

Four police cruisers responded to town hall at about 4:45 p.m. Wednesday for reports of a “possible assault in progress,” according to the police log. The officers said there was no assault but that Kimball got into a verbal argument with someone standing outside with a group collecting petition signatures in an effort to force a recall election for the veteran selectman.

“My understanding is that some adults got into a heated argument which ended prior to our arrival,” Rockland police Lt. Nicholas Zeoli said in an email. “There were no charges filed.”

With all due respect to the good local reporting of those at the Patriot Ledger and others covering this ongoing Greek tragedy, the ONLY reason why this hasn’t made national news is because we’re talking about foul Democrats and a media that covers for them.

There are many in the political class (including their spouses and children) who seem to believe the world cannot exist without them and even when some should hang their heads in shame and leave those they affect alone, these people come back with the full expectation of acceptance.

Christopher Hall, husband of former Selectman Deidre Hall, is among four residents who have taken out nomination papers to run in the Nov. 6 election. Two seats are open because Deidre Hall and former Selectman Ed Kimball resigned in the aftermath of the scandal.
