News outlets like CNN were more than willing to share those moments with their audience. But now that the shoe is on the other foot, let the pitiful whining begin.

This time from Dr. Anthony Fauci; an unelected federal official whose very words can lead to national mask mandates he and other progressive elites selectively observe, shutdowns, and other policies that negatively affect hundreds of millions of America on a whim. When suggested the same tactics used by liberals be used against him, cue the violins.

This is a systematic attempt by the leadership of Fox News to target not only the science, not only to discredit vaccines, but to put a target on the back of scientists — prominent U.S. scientists. And it’s not only Fox News. This is coming from all of the major conservative news outlets … and it’s coming from members of the United States Congress, who say things to incite violence against scientists.

It’s coming from the conservative news outlets. It’s coming from a group of contrarian intellectuals from far-right-wing think tanks. This is a coordinated effort as part of an authoritarian attempt to discredit science, discredit scientists. And it’s a very scary time for a number of us.

Let’s not forget on several occasions, California Congresswoman Maxine Waters made direct threats of violence against President Trump and called for increased bullying of Trump officials in public places. A Republican congressman was shot at a baseball practice by a Bernie Sanders supporter, a Republican senator was attacked and beaten by a rabid Democrat on his own lawn, and protesters shouted with bullhorns in front of cabinet members’ homes. To date, NO Democrat elected or official has been physically attacked by a conservative, that is if you don’t count the January 6 drama that was peaceful until left wing agitators and Deep State law enforcement informants and instigators arrived at the Capitol.

This is not to say rudeness is encouraged, but when it’s okay to humiliate government officials one day (free speech), it should also be considered fair game to confront Democrat taxpayer-funded officials and ask questions a biased media will not.

That goes for mini-tyrant Dr. Anthony Fauci whose NIH salary reached $434,312.00 in 2020.

April Ryan, the White House correspondent for American Urban Radio Networks, has hired a personal bodyguard after receiving death threats she claimed were the result of the Trump administration’s vilification of her as a reporter.

There’s almost always skepticism whenever we hear of someone in the news claiming to have received “death threats”. That’s not to say it didn’t happen, but there are ways to handle it like publishing those threats for all the world to see, not to mention providing the names and other personal information if so desired. We know from experience that has a way of chilling those vile incoming messages when the sender understands his or her accounts can also be added to the public record.

And since she’s SO important, it needed to be kicked up a notch.

“Do I have a bodyguard? Yes, I do. Am I paying for it? Yes, I am. And, I think [White House press secretary Sarah Sanders] should have to pay for it, especially if she’s stirring it up with her boss,” Ryan said in an interview published Tuesday by the Hollywood Reporter.

We assume having one’s own bodyguard is an extraordinary expense, April probably earns enough that she can comfortably afford one, though an employer would absorb that cost to assure an employee’s safety. That is, if the need is genuine and not drama introduced because of someone’s unreasonable sense of self-importance.

Ryan, who is promoting her forthcoming book “Under Fire: Reporting from the Front Lines of the Trump White House,” did not state why her employer is not covering the costs.

That would be a pertinent detail.

On the evening of August 3, Charlie Kratovil, “community organizer”, 2018 independent candidate for Mayor of New Brunswick and editor of New Brunswick Today was video recording the 4th Annual NJ Parent Summit at The Heldrich Hotel & Conference Center in New Brunswick and was an authorized attendee.

Her speaking contracts ban video and audio recordings, a provision designed to ensure that her voice and image aren’t used by rival networks. She declined to comment.

There are some people in the pundit class (and we’ve run into them) who believe they are SO important they can dictate who can and cannot record their likeness at events; events where people with smartphones could record them in a rather stealth mode while professionals with tripods in full view are singled out for their audacity in not getting prior personal permission.

As Ryan began speaking, she kept staring at Kratovil’s camera in an odd manner. Soon after, her security guard approached her, and she signaled for him to do something.

Kratovil claims he was approached by a man, who he said he later found out was Ryan’s security guard Joel Morris.

Kratovil alleged that Morris threatened to “take… down” the camera if he himself didn’t and the public relations team began “pressuring” Kratovil to stop recording. In emails obtained by Fox News, Kratovil had previously RSVP’d to the event and received confirmation.

Kratovil expressed his solidarity with Ryan, an outspoken critic of President Trump and his treatment of the press, but told Fox News that “her reputation” now depends on addressing what had happened and is hoping for an apology.

Good luck with that as it appears Ryan and most of the media wanted this whole thing to go away simply by not reporting it as timely as it would have been had a black reporter been muscled out of a conservative event.

It took about a day and a half for George Holliday’s video of the Rodney King beating to make the jump from local to national news because there really wasn’t a consumer Internet in 1991. This incident happened a week ago and we’re only really hearing about it now?

Is this what we’d call a media blackout, pardon the pun?

Knowing how hypersensitive Ryan is when it comes to the topic of race, can you imagine the hell that would’ve been raised LAST WEEK if a black videographer was given the death stare from a white speaker, the videographer’s camera was removed by a big white guy, a loudmouthed white woman from the event started shouting at the videographer in the lobby when he was trying to retrieve his equipment, that big white guy forcibly removed the black videographer from the hotel… all on surveillance video?

One would think April Ryan would know all about the importance of granting free and unfettered access to the media for any and all newsworthy events… including HERS.

For her dedication to journalism and deep commitment to values of the First Amendment and press freedom, the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press will honor Ryan at the 2019 Freedom of the Press Awards in May.

Bloomberg White House Correspondent Margaret Talev also said honoring Ryan with a Freedom of the Press Award is not just a recognition of one reporter’s work and advocacy for press freedom, but has a wider impact for journalism.

That ugly irony of hypocrisy thing again.

April Ryan is also a CNN political analyst and liberal cable news regular so she probably pushes those over her Urban Radio gig, thus she may really believe she’s all that.

Let’s hope that this isn’t an media elite example of black privilege, charges have been filed and the media is not given any more room to run roughshod over independent news outlets or the public in general.

As at least one person would have hoped, this whole incident didn’t go away quietly.

A criminal complaint dated August 19 charges 30-year-old Joel Morris of Country Club Hills, Illinois, with harassment, assault and theft. It alleges Morris took Kratovil’s arm and shoved it behind his back, injuring his forearm and shoulder.

“While journalists may have no special rights superior to members of the public, they do not have fewer rights than others,” the Society of Professional Journalists said in a statement. “A no-photography policy should apply to everyone. Nor should the perceived viewpoint of a news organization be regarded as grounds to deny admittance to a member of the media; people who make news do not have a license to dictate how and by whom they are covered.”

Ryan did not immediately return a request for comment Monday afternoon. “Her silence is deafening at this point. It’s been more than two weeks,” Kratovil said. “Anybody who’s a journalist should be condemning this.”

Let this be a lesson to April Ryan’s next bodyguard….

CNN political analyst April Ryan this weekend finally addressed an Aug. 3 incident involving a member of her security detail forcibly removing a journalist from an event at which she was speaking. It took the 2019 Freedom of the Press Award-winner and White House correspondent only 22 days to break her silence.

Ryan claimed Sunday on CNN that the Aug. 3 episode was the fault of an overeager, and since-fired, bodyguard named Joel Morris.

“I did not order anyone to do anything,” Ryan said, adding, “I was on the stage at the time.”

A good bodyguard is ready to take one for the team but when the team throws that bodyguard under the bus, expect that bodyguard to come back swinging.

This should be fun.

It’s hard to feel any sympathy for those who created J20 precisely to punch the faces of millions who were fed up at the way this country was going and voted for Donald J. Trump.

It is essential to organize in a way that distinguishes us from all state actors and leaves no space for the state to regain legitimacy; antifascism must mean opposition to the state itself, lest we topple Trump only to pave the way for an equally authoritarian regime. We saw sore loser liberals in their norm, disrupting traffic, threatening motorists, destroying public and private property, enlisting school children to leave classrooms and take to the unsupervised streets, verbally and physically accost administration members and elected federal representatives in restaurants and in front of their private residences, assault conservative protesters and journalists, and even called for physical violence against those who didn’t vote for Hillary Clinton, including the shooting of an United States congressman. There was/is gross insubordination by federal employees against Republican appointees heading their departments, media bias justifying actions that would lead to jail time in some instances.

There was/is an attempted coup by the previous administration, Hillary Clinton’s campaign, and some in federal law enforcement to fix the election in favor of their preferred candidate, disrupt President-elect Trump’s transition and later, President Trump’s ability to govern. The “resistance” was an unprecedented mechanism to not only dissent but to bully.

Unlike the previous Obama administration, no progressive 501(c)(3) nonprofits were harrassed, no journalists (or their parents) were surveilled and intimidated in an unprecedented manner, no Freedom of Information Act requests are being stalled or ignored, in fact the Trump Administration has show great strength enduring the ongoing media onslaught along with a petulant “resistance” that includes #Antifa which could also be considered Klan 2.0.

And now, they’re triggered by a show of military pride? Only the narcissism of sore-loser liberals would explain why they’d look at a tank and assume it was meant for them.

The opportunistic and timely #MeToo movement was ramped up to new hysterics when President Trump responded to Gillibrand.

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.), who has called on Trump to resign over allegations of sexual misconduct, was the subject of a Trump tweet on Tuesday in which he called her a “lightweight” who “would do anything” for campaign contributions — a comment some have interpreted as sexual.

“Well certainly that was how I and many people read it,” Gillibrand said on NBC’s “Today.” “It was certainly just a sexist smear intended to silence me.“

It appears mostly liberal Democrats are the ones who interpreted a commonly used phrase as sexist.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Tuesday pushed back on the claims that the language was a sexual reference, telling those who took it as such to that their minds were “in the gutter.”

But this isn’t the first time Senator Gillibrand has exploited the sexual abuse card and then fleeing when details don’t fit her desired political conclusion….

To add to the confusion, Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren added to the conversation in a way that was also open to gutter interpretation.

In her attempt to utilize social justice terminology, did Senator Elizabeth Warren imply Senator Kirsten Gillibrand is a slut?

Politicians can slander anyone they want with impunity under the Constitution. Senator Gillibrand has done so on several occasions, she will persist in doing so in the future and is too high and mighty to admit when she’s wrong.

Is this what the latest iteration of the women’s movement has in store for the United States?

As is usually the case, Democrats blatantly accuse others while knowing what’s been shoved in back of their own closets.

“Congress has a sexual harassment problem — and isn’t taking it seriously,” Gillibrand wrote in Fortune magazine. “If we can’t clean up our own act, how can anyone expect Congress to do the right thing for victims and survivors in the rest of the country? Congress has to do better. I believe that elected officials should be held to the highest ethical standard — not the lowest.”

You know what’s coming next….

Just a few months later, when a woman in her own office reported that a married male staffer was making repeated, unwanted and increasingly aggressive sexual advances toward her, Gillibrand did not do the right thing and fire him. Politico reported that “less than three weeks after reporting the alleged harassment and subsequently claiming that the man retaliated against her for doing so, the woman told chief of staff Jess Fassler that she was resigning because of the office’s handling of the matter.”

Gillibrand’s office defended her inaction, saying in a statement that the senator’s office had conducted a “full and thorough investigation” that included “multiple interviews with relevant current employees who could potentially corroborate the claims” but did not find cause to fire the male staffer.
