August 1998: With the assistance of Hezbollah, al Qaeda suicide bombers almost simultaneously blow up the U.S. Embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, killing 224 people, including 12 Americans, and wounding thousands. According to the 9/11 Commission Report, al Qaeda developed “the tactical expertise for such attacks months earlier, when some of its operatives — top military committee members and several operatives who were involved with the Kenya cell among them — were sent to Hezbollah training camps in Lebanon.”

September 11, 2001: While the 9/11 Commission Report concludes that Iran had no foreknowledge of al Qaeda’s attacks on the World Trade Center, the report indicates that Tehran facilitated the travel of some of the terrorists. “In sum,” the report notes, “there is strong evidence that Iran facilitated the transit of al Qaeda members into and out of Afghanistan before 9/11, and that some of these were future 9/11 hijackers.”

2003-2011: Iranian-backed militias kill at least 603 U.S. troops in Iraq, according to the Pentagon. Iranian training and material support for Iraqi militias during the surge greatly increased the difficulty of U.S. forces to combat the insurgency and included some of the deadliest weapons used against American troops, including explosively formed penetrators (EFPs) and improvised explosive devices (IEDs).

Ash Carter, an academic with no military experience, was the Secretary of Defense and was followed by former Air Force officer/CIA analyst and university president Robert Gates during President Barack Obama’s terms.

We’ve seen and heard arguments from those who interpret the First Amendment to suit their immediate desires but I don’t look between the lines as there’s never anything there.

The First Amendment allows for freedom of speech. I’ve always disagreed with the conditions some readily quote like shouting fire in a crowded theater. You can do it. You just have to be ready to accept the consequences, which is obviously problematic to those who want limited responsibility for those actions.

Whether it be on a street, highway, or college campus, a growing segment of our population believes they not only have the right to say what they want and because of where they’ve strategically decided to say it, but they also have the right to be heard.

I don’t see that right in any of our Constitutional amendments.

When the Tea Party held their many events across the United States, they first applied for and obtained a permit. They held their event in a static place so people had the choice to attend and hear speakers exercising their First Amendment right of speech. Police were in attendance due to the size of the gatherings, and almost all were relaxed as those in attendance were appreciative of them and their service. Permits for Tea Party events appear to have been issued with relative ease as the reputation was the areas used were normally left cleaner than when the group first arrived. Attendees did not routinely vandalize or destroy surrounding public, private property and businesses.

Speakers at Tea Party events enjoyed the right to speak and did not force anyone to hear their words.

For the last decade or so, left wing groups seldom acquire permits for their “events”, and I use that term loosely.

They exploit any opportunity to take to the streets, disrupt the free flow of traffic on our highways because it’s loosely illegal.

The Founders thought our right to freedom of movement so obvious, they didn’t bother adding it to the Constitution. The informal education system was better then than today’s taxpayer-funded abomination so the obvious didn’t require dumbing down. We can be detained and even arrested for walking in the middle of the road but if it’s a “protest” and it’s “free speech”, you get some leeway?

The left considers their modern mode of free speech via disruption as the “right of the people to peaceably assemble”. They obviously have no permit to block traffic and yet get in the faces of captive motorists and demand they listen to their message. Maybe that’s “mostly peaceably”.

The same now can be said as to their activities on college campuses. They take over large areas, decide who can and cannot be admitted to facilities, and force all in the area to listen to what they have to say. Their areas are routinely left in a more disheveled condition than when originally occupied, surrounding buildings and statues are vandalized and sometimes local areas experience disruptions in commerce, if not also damage to property. Let’s not leave out violence than can lead to injury and/or death.

And when it all gets ugly and fingers are pointed, we’re all told it’s a free speech issue.

It is not.

In this case, all of these protesters can call for the divestment from Israel, issue death threats, hurl racial slurs at a black congressman, and more. Those involved believe that their abhorrent words are justified and they should be able to say them. I agree as we should know what’s in their little heads.

But what really pisses them off is that our ability to ignore nullifies their speech. In this case, we can blow their words off as the sophistry of the young, uninformed and duped. If they don’t even know what they’re protesting, there’s no reason to succumb to demands. That would be dumb.

Until there’s a Constitutional Amendment forcing The People to have to hear the words of others (which would be kind of interesting to enforce), the children will have to scream until they’re hoarse.

Then again they’d go full Clockwork Orange on their opponents if they could force us to see and hear them at their worse.

It’s not clear what inspired the folks at the Selective Service agency to put out this Tweet, but they know the left well.

Given how we’ve seen how willing they are to disrupt, loot, vandalize and burn down property, not to leave out create social disorder, it’s not surprising that the liberals value themselves over all else.

Including their country.

It’s not like Black Lives Matter protests and Antifa riots weren’t seen on televisions in other countries. It’s not like the transgender-grooming onslaught in American classrooms aren’t being monitored abroad. Many in countries around the world can see who the freaks are on Twitter, Tik Tok, and Facebook. It would really suck for those who fled when the country needed them to be told by other nations, “We don’t want your kind here.”

It’s not like the United States would want them back. Think of how much more calm the country would be without the daily angst the left brings into every topic. Liberal perpetual misery and documented insanity is their normal so even if the USA were conservative-free tomorrow, they’d eventually drive all crazy.

But imagine an America where children could go to school and learn to read, write and do mathematics. Imagine an America where people could be judged by the content of their character and not the color of their skin. Imagine an America where art was created by the talented. Imagine an America where Election Day was one day, like it was for a couple hundred years, and voters had no problem proving who they are. Imagine an America where the privileged among us were thankful instead of sanctimonious jerks who flaunted their fortunes. Imagine an America where all babies mattered. Imagine an America where you couldn’t be cancelled. Imagine an America where a flag and a prayer weren’t bad things.

There are a lot more things that would America a better place if Democrats fled. Sadly, it might take a war scenario to cleanse the nation of the infection but if we could start again without them, the United States would be a better place instantly.

Afghan refugees will be dumped in their neighborhood and all considerations to the residents are rescinded.

Sheriff Chapman Addresses Potential Relocation of Afghan Refugees by DHS to the National Conference Center in Lansdowne

Loudoun County, VA (February 17, 2022)- On February 4, 2022, the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) received an unannounced visit by the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Federal Protective Service (FPS) in which it learned that approximately 2000 Afghan refugees, per month, were slated to arrive at the Washington Dulles International Airport during a window beginning as early as February 19, 2022, and extending to September 2022.

That’s at least 16,000 Afghans, but you know it will probably be more, not less.

DHS/FPS regional personnel advised the refugees would be transported by bus to the National Conference Center (NCC) where they would stay until their ultimate relocation elsewhere in the United States. DHS/FPS estimated that no more than 1000 refugees per month would remain at the NCC at any given time until September 2022. The refugees, for the most part, would enter the US from Qatar. DHS/FPS advised that the refugees will be provided cash and cell phones from non-government organizations and be required to remain on the NCC grounds.

While hundreds of thousands of Americans are currently circumnavigating “programs” created to alleviate their homeless status, Afghan refugees have been given head-of-line status to receive “cash and cell phones”. Must be nice as you know they’ll also be given a prompt, soft place to land as well.

As the information was vague, Sheriff Chapman raised this issue at a committee meeting the following day in Washington, DC. He was immediately contacted by members of DHS and received a phone call from the DHS executive staff. A follow-up conference call with a senior member of FEMA occurred the following day where he raised concerns about DHS’ lack of communication, lack of planning, language barriers, a failure to communicate with a myriad of potential stakeholders, and the NCC’s unfenced proximity to a residential neighborhood and two public schools.

A “failure to communicate” or an issue not to be considered their problem…?

While the LCSO is more than willing to assist Afghan refugees and their families who provided support to our military and defense personnel in Afghanistan, DHS had difficulty addressing several concerns raised during a subsequent conversation. These concerns are provided below:

What level of vetting has been conducted to ensure refugees entering Loudoun County had aided the United States and were not a threat to the US or our local community?

DHS Response – Refugees had been carefully vetted and many served as translators. However, when asked how if in fact they served as translators when only 30% of the refugees spoke English, DHS responded that many of the incoming refugees were family members of the translators.

Biden’s assertions and actual numbers never add up.

Recent reports have let the American people know that the Biden administration’s “vetting process” when it comes to Afghans has been piss poor to date and many with clear terror ties have gone dark once released into the United States. Assurances from the Department of Homeland Security should be taken with a huge grain of salt.

Considering the NCC is located within a largely residential area of Lansdowne and within walking distance of Riverside High School and Belmont Ridge Middle School, what arrangements were made with Loudoun County stakeholders to ensure the area is secure for the community?

DHS advised that the FPS would provide 15 officers for security at the NCC. However, the FPS has no law enforcement jurisdiction in Loudoun County and cannot enforce nor investigate any criminal activity on the campus.

They’ll be Loudoun County’s problem.

When pressed further about safety issues, DHS stated that the NCC would be designated a federal facility. What would that mean?

Basically nothing. Regardless of that designation, any potential criminal activity or domestic issues that might occur on the NCC campus would not fall under federal code but under state and local law, therefore limiting FPS’ ability to intervene, assist, or investigate these matters.

They’ll be Loudoun County’s problem.

What communications had been done to prepare area residents who may be impacted by this?

None.

Why is this no surprise?

It sounds like it Afghan refugees would simply be dumped off in Loudoun County with no consideration for those who not only live there, but the taxpayers who’ll have to foot the bill for dealing with any problems they’ll bring with them.

What coordination with other Loudoun County stakeholders had been performed to this point to include Loudoun County Fire and Rescue (for medical emergencies), Loudoun County Public Schools, Loudoun County Department of Mental Health, Social Services, local hospitals, the Adams Center, or other area houses of faith, or the County government at large?  

None. DHS stated that no coordination had occurred and that no notifications had been made to the community surrounding the NCC (as of February 15). Additionally, no coordination had been performed either with the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Director of Public Safety.

Of course not.

The Biden administration fucked up the “largest airlift of people in history” from Afghanistan, let anyone get on the flights out, squelched most of the reports of the crimes some of the refugees committed on the military bases they were sent to and in the surrounding neighborhoods, and left their logistics to non-governmental organizations that have no sense of urgency to address their situation because they’re on the clock.

What federal financial assistance would be proposed to help with the added responsibilities to stakeholders?

DHS proposed grant funding. Unfortunately, any grant funding would likely be available well after the projected September exit date of the refugees.

Translation: Again, they’re Loudoun County’s problem until September and then they’ll be accepting grant applications that will take as long as the Biden administration get’s around to process them. No positive outcome is guaranteed and it will probably fall on the locals to foot the bill.

Sheriff Chapman’s concerns were brought to the highest levels of DHS and on February 8^th, he received a telephone call directly from DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. Secretary Mayorkas apologized for the lack of communication by DHS with the LCSO and other stakeholders but assured Sheriff Chapman that his concerns would be addressed.

Mayorkas has had to issue a lot of “apologies” during his short term.

On February 15, 2022, Sheriff Chapman and his command staff met with members of DHS FPS, the US Secret Service, and FEMA, at which time Sheriff Chapman insisted that DHS draft a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to ensure the roles and expectations of all stakeholders are clearly delineated and agreed upon, as well as the duration the refugees will be staying at the NCC. DHS offered to provide security cameras, fencing around the perimeter with additional FPS personnel and interpreters; however, no additional accommodations were offered.

As of this date, a draft MOU has not been produced and DHS has not yet contracted with the NCC.

Agencies of the Biden administration have blown off multiple requests, be them from congressional or senate committees conducting oversight, for documents, responses to questions from lawmakers, etc.

You know Sheriff Chapman is low on their priority list.

“As I have a responsibility for the safety and security of Loudoun’s citizens, I want to ensure that our community is aware of the concerns we have raised and the expectations we have from our partners with the federal government. Currently, those expectations have not been met, and we continue to have concerns as to whether the NCC is an appropriate location to support this mission,” said Sheriff Chapman. “We will continue to keep our community informed as this process continues. If the resettlement proceeds, we will work with the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors and all stakeholders to ensure that appropriate resources are obtained for the refugees’ successful transition into the United States,” he added.

We applaud Sheriff Chapman for his public optimism during a time of unknowns and non-responses from DHS. Behind closed doors, he’s probably shaking his head trying to wrap his arms around the shit show Biden has dumped in his jurisdiction.

You know this will be yet another topic that will be on the table come November because the chances these Afghan citizens will be model citizens before then are slim to none. Most will be thankful at first but the whining, criticisms and demands from the growing ungrateful will soon come.

While obviously, a good suggestion, protesting thus “incurring the anger” of a government she leads is punishable, albeit not to the same level of the ChiComms… yet.

In the United States, it all depends on who is doing the protesting.

Nancy Pelosi had no problem with protests against an opposition president, with even one protester talking about blowing up the White House. Nancy Pelosi and Democrats had no problem with Black Lives Matter and Antifa protesters who illegally blocked traffic on public streets and highways, verbally and physically assaulted motorists, vandalized public and private property, verbally and physically assaulted law enforcement, burned police stations, and injured and killed Americans on the street. Most of them were not detained and incarcerated, and many have had their release assisted by nonprofits and even elected politicians. Nancy Pelosi has no problem while taxpayer-funded intelligence agencies violate the law and monitor the activities of Americans without cause or warrant every day.

Conversely, Nancy Pelosi has no problem with those who were caught up in the January 6 mayhem and have been jailed since in Third World (Washington, D.C.) conditions, despite not being formally charged with a crime. Conversely, Nancy Pelosi has no problem with parents being surveilled and arrested for protesting local school boards run by liberal Democrats. Conversely, Nancy Pelosi has no problem with state prosecutors persecuting a former President of the United States, whose free speech was repeatedly violated by Big Tech platforms.

Nancy Pelosi can spare us the righteous indignation of warning against Americans exercising free speech in a nation that doesn’t recognize it.

Thanks to people like her, it’s only a little better here.

BTW — If an Olympic athlete does cross the line, there’s no President Trump who’ll personally secure their prompt release. He or she will be at the mercy of Joe Biden who doesn’t leave Americans behind, right?

But we are talking about Democrats in 2021 who have to defend a near total collapse of what the United States was prior to Joe Biden being installed into the presidency. They came to campaign for a Syracuse-born, carpetbagging Clintonista who believes he’s entitled to a second go as governor of Virginia.

It doesn’t appear to have gone exactly as planned….

If there wasn’t a greater incentive for Democrats to “find votes” on election day, this is it because it can’t be because of the caliber of the candidate or those headlining campaign events.

They’re all fakes and everyone knows it.

Let alone three (and counting) publications of such.

Former President Barack Obama touched on fraught issues of politics, race, and public dialogue in excerpts from an interview released today by the literary and free expression group PEN America. In conversation with Pulitzer-winning biographer Ron Chernow, the former president allowed that the racial upheavals of the past year, coupled with generational change, may herald a more bracing and forthright, less cautious treatment of race in the political realm. It comes just days after the president warned that phrases like “defund the police” could risk alienating allies of reform.

Then again, most of us aren’t Barack Obama and have loyal sycophants who’ll actually buy coffee table dust collectors.

In remarks that will be streamed as part of PEN America’s gala celebration on Tuesday, Dec. 8, President Obama spoke candidly about the differences between talking about issues of race as an American politician and as a writer. He contrasted discussions of race in the context of “politics and getting votes” with “truth-telling and the prophetic voice.”

The media wasn’t fair to him, conservatives weren’t fair to him, and Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity destroyed his relationships with conservatives.

This week, 82 years ago, Kristallnacht happened. It was the Nazis’ warning shot across the bow of our human civilization that led to genocide against a whole identity. And, in that tower of burning books, it led to an attack on fact, knowledge, history and truth.

While much of the smashing, burning, and looting is all too familiar nowadays, thanks to those most-aligned with the Democrat Party, exactly what has Donald Trump done to be linked with Kristallnacht?

After four years of a modern-day assault on those same values by Donald Trump, the Biden/Harris team pledges a return to norms, including the truth. And, every day, Joe Biden makes presidential announcements about good governance and the health and security of the American people, while the great brooding figure of his defeated opponent rages, conducting purges of perceived enemies and preventing a transition.

I defy Christiane Amanpour to show ONE example of Trump supporters gathering, smashing, burning and looting at any one of their events over the last five-plus years? Seriously, thanks to Black Lives Matter and Antifa, every night is a potential Kristallnacht.

Then again, when we’re dealing with a media full of arrogants who believe we MUST believe whatever they say because they said it, we know she’ll never feel any obligation to be intellectually honest.

No democracy can survive unless the majority of people at least accept the same set of facts.

Translation: We, the media, said it. You MUST believe what we tell you.

And so here are some. According to a Reuters poll, nearly 80 percent of the American people, Republicans and Democrats, accept the result of the 2020 election. Yes, so far, Trump has won 72 million votes to Biden’s 77 million, but, no, there have been no serious protests on the streets contesting the result, while secretaries of state around the nation, Republican and Democrat, say there has been no meaningful fraud, and they have found nothing that would overturn the result.

There was no violence in the streets (yet) because Donald Trump wasn’t announced the winner which would have brought another leftist Kristallnacht wave across the nation. Conservatives, as a practice, don’t smash, burn and loot. This is purely a Democrat-tolerated “mostly peaceful” thing.

Conveniently, Reuters provides no link in their poll announcement so we’re to take them at their word as to the results.

However, based on past industry practices, one can rightly assume more Democrats and Independents were polled than Republicans, IF… the poll was really taken at all. Taking the media at their word always leaves room for justified skepticism.

Given the massive Trump crowds during both presidential elections, the 73-plus million* votes President Trump received in 2020, the clear and massive vote fraud committed that the media refuses to report, one has to wonder who these “half of Republicans” who recognize “President-elect Joe Biden” are. Aside from the self-important, attention-seeking Never Trumpers, we know of no Republican who will recognize the legitimacy of a President Biden.

If that’s as dangerous as Amanpour claims, where the hell was she during the four years of applauded #Resist messaging coming from Hillary Clinton on down? Wherever she was, few really watches or cares what Christiane Amanpour has to say, which makes her provocative screams for attention and relevance even more reckless.

She’s tired of the day-to-day writing obligations and she wants that much sought-after, paid gig as a Fox News contributor. She probably hopes she fits most of their on-air aesthetic requirements.

A lot continues to be made over her resignation letter, so cue the sad, piano music bed….

It is with sadness that I write to tell you that I am resigning from the New York Times.

Seriously, who in the private sector does this publicly?

I joined the paper with gratitude and optimism three years ago. I was hired with the goal of bringing in voices that would not otherwise appear in your pages: first-time writers, centrists, conservatives and others who would not naturally think of the Times as their home. The reason for this effort was clear: The paper’s failure to anticipate the outcome of the 2016 election meant that it didn’t have a firm grasp of the country it covers. Dean Baquet and others have admitted as much on various occasions. The priority in Opinion was to help redress that critical shortcoming.

Twitter is not on the masthead of the New York Times. But Twitter has become its ultimate editor. As the ethics and mores of that platform have become those of the paper, the paper itself has increasingly become a kind of performance space. Stories are chosen and told in a way to satisfy the narrowest of audiences, rather than to allow a curious public to read about the world and then draw their own conclusions. I was always taught that journalists were charged with writing the first rough draft of history.

Whoever told her that must have really been full of his or herself. Then again, we are talking about today’s journalists….

Now, history itself is one more ephemeral thing moulded to fit the needs of a predetermined narrative.

My own forays into Wrongthink have made me the subject of constant bullying by colleagues who disagree with my views. They have called me a Nazi and a racist; I have learned to brush off comments about how I’m ‘writing about the Jews again’. Several colleagues perceived to be friendly with me were badgered by coworkers. My work and my character are openly demeaned on company-wide Slack channels where masthead editors regularly weigh in. There, some coworkers insist I need to be rooted out if this company is to be a truly ‘inclusive’ one, while others post ax emojis next to my name. Still other New York Times employees publicly smear me as a liar and a bigot on Twitter with no fear that harassing me will be met with appropriate action. They never are.

If a conservative accepted a job at MoveOn.org, he or she would know what to expect. When the expected happened, only a narcissist would take to social media and whine about it.

There are terms for all of this: unlawful discrimination, hostile work environment, and constructive discharge. I’m no legal expert. But I know that this is wrong.

I do not understand how you have allowed this kind of behavior to go on inside your company in full view of the paper’s entire staff and the public.

Bari Weiss is either naive or stupid. Despite that, she was still considered New York Times material.

And I certainly can’t square how you and other Times leaders have stood by while simultaneously praising me in private for my courage. Showing up for work as a centrist at an American newspaper should not require bravery.

While this made for some sensational headlines, political discrimination is nothing new. Anyone who works with liberals knows this, which is why most conservatives keep their personal politics close-to-the-vest for fear of public ostracization and/or even potential job loss.

Weiss, in her resignation letter, claims not to be a legal expert.

However, all she had to do was take (literally) a few seconds to look it up.

Not all forms of discrimination are illegal, however. It is illegal under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 for employers to make job decisions based on race, color, national origin, religion, and sex. Other federal laws prohibit discrimination based on age, disability, and genetic information. However, political views aren’t covered by these laws and the laws of most states. This means employers are free to consider political views and affiliations in making job decisions.

Bari Weiss has been an outspoken right-leaning columnist and it suited her well as long as she was relatively comfortable and employed. She’s enjoyed opportunities to appear on national media outlets, safe and enemy, and she was able to absorb the incoming… that is, until now.

It appears the “bullying” was too much for her to bear and her very public announcement that she’s bailing on the New York Times could also be looked at as a Times Square sized billboard saying “I’m available!”

Weiss had the convenience of being able to time her job departure on her terms and timetable. Many others who lost jobs, careers, and more due to being blacklisted by intolerant liberals had no such benefit. Weiss had every opportunity to use her various platforms to remind the public of the ramifications of “progressive” tyranny. She could have interviewed, thus talked to Republican leadership on Capitol Hill and directors of federal and state agencies as an advocate for those who have to remain politically silent just to keep a job.

She could’ve pushed for an addendum to current civil rights legislation.

Bari Weiss didn’t do shit.

She was absent to that party, but now that she’s had enough of being picked on, she’s being embraced as yet another potential conservative star.

When it comes to political discrimination and celebrated self-servers like Bari Weiss, when is enough going to be enough?
