These young people know the authorities won’t look after the perpetrators of certain crimes, who’s committing them, and if they are caught up in a wide net, they’ll either be set free with minimum inconvenience or even be generously reimbursed for the insult.

There are way too many wildfires happening to make this anything but copycats performed by a generation who make almost everything about themselves, how they feel, and the need to be the ones to “save the world”; especially when it means the destruction of property they neither built or paid for. They are devoid of conscience and any deaths caused by their actions are okay as long as they are saving the planet.

The fact very few in the so-called media has any interest in coming to the bottom of how these fires started and have lazily defaulted to blaming “climate change” implies there is something nefarious behind them and it could make their cult look very bad. Attributing the wildfires to possible arson can be called a conspiracy theory by the left and their media, but how many recent conspiracy theories have turned out to be true?

If people lose their homes, if not lives, it’s something these climate change ecoterrorists can live with as long as these bad things happen far from the current areas they occupy.

They get donations from “people like you”, corporations and foundations, claim they get a very small portion from taxpayers. $300 million is a lot to tap into until the end of September.

For an additional amount for “Limitation on Administrative Expenses”, $510,000,000, to remain available until September 30, 2021, for necessary expenses to prevent, prepare for, and respond to coronavirus, including paying the salaries and benefits of employees affected as a result of office closures, telework, phone and communication services for employees, overtime costs, and supplies, and for resources necessary for processing disability and retirement workloads and backlogs, of which the amount made available under this heading in this Act.

Democrats scare seniors every two years with that old “Republicans want to cut your Social Security” yet their employees always seem to be just fine.

DIPLOMATIC PROGRAMS
For an additional amount for “Diplomatic Programs”, $315,000,000, to remain available until September 30, 2022, for necessary expenses to prevent, prepare for, and respond to coronavirus, including for evacuation expenses, emergency preparedness, and maintaining consular operations.

PEACE CORPS
For an additional amount for “Peace Corps”, $90,000,000, to remain available until September 30, 2022, for necessary expenses to prevent, prepare for, and respond to coronavirus.

This is a lot of money for “telework” seeing how there’s not going to be a lot of overseas travel going on for the foreseeable future. And what’s the Peace Corps going to do with Coronavirus, for the most part, shutting war down globally?

DEPARTMENT OF STATE
MIGRATION AND REFUGEE ASSISTANCE
For an additional amount for “Migration and Refugee Assistance”, $300,000,000, to remain available until expended, for necessary expenses to prevent, prepare for, and respond to coronavirus.

HOMELESS ASSISTANCE GRANTS
For an additional amount for “Homeless Assistance Grants”, $5,000,000,000, to remain available until September 30, 2022, for the Emergency Solutions Grants program to prevent, prepare for, and respond to coronavirus among individuals and families who are homeless, receiving homeless assistance, or at risk of homelessness and to support additional homeless assistance and homelessness prevention activities to mitigate the impacts created by coronavirus.

Refugees get “assistance” while homeless Americans have to apply for “solutions” through local agencies and nonprofits. See how that works?

NATIONAL NETWORK GRANTS TO THE NATIONAL RAILROAD PASSENGER CORPORATION
(INCLUDING TRANSFER OF FUNDS)
For an additional amount for “National Network Grants to the National Railroad Passenger Corporation”, $526,000,000, to remain available until September 30, 2021, to prevent, prepare for, and respond to coronavirus.

Will that even be enough? With Amtrak, it never seems to be.

Now, here’s where things get ugly.

While an entire industry has been adversely affected by circumstances they didn’t cause, Democrats are going to make it hurt for an industry they decided to single out: airlines.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTIONS
AIRLINE CARBON EMISSIONS OFFSETS AND GOALS
CARBON OFFSETTING PROGRAM
Not later than 90 days after the enactment of this Act, the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration shall require each air carrier receiving assistance under section 101, to fully offset the annual carbon emissions of such air carriers for domestic flights beginning in 2025.
CARBON EMISSIONS GOAL
The Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration shall require each air carrier receiving assistance to— (A) make and achieve a binding commitment to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions attributable to the domestic flights of such air carrier in every calendar year, beginning with 2021, on a path consistent with a 25 percent reduction in the aviation sector’s emissions from 2005 levels by 2035, and a 50 percent reduction in the sector’s emissions from 2005 levels by 2050, applying the standards, recommended practices, and guidance agreed to by the United States pursuant to the European Union Emissions Trading Scheme Prohibition Act of 2011 for addressing aircraft emissions; and (B) submit to the Administrator, annually, a report containing a plan for meeting the commitment described in subparagraph (A) and evidence of compliance with such commitment, including the annual emissions of the air carrier, use of alternative fuels, and any other means of implementing such commitment.

SEC. 705. RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OF SUSTAINABLE AVIATION FUELS.
There is authorized to be appropriated to the Federal Aviation Administration $100,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2021 through 2026 for research and development of sustainable aviation fuels.

STUDY ON CERTAIN CLIMATE CHANGE MITIGATION EFFORTS
Not later than 90 days after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Transportation shall seek to enter into an agreement with the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (referred to in this section as the “National Academies”) to conduct a study on climate change mitigation efforts with respect to the civil aviation and aerospace industries.

CLIMATE CHANGE MITIGATION EFFORTS
The term “climate change mitigation efforts” means efforts, including the use of technologies, materials, processes, or practices, that contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.

Seeing how they do so much for Democrats, the unions got a big taste.

LABOR PROTECTIONS
ASSISTANCE IRRESPECTIVE OF LABOR COSTS
The President, or any department, agency, or actor of the Federal government, may not condition the provision of any financial assistance on an air carrier’s implementation of measures to reduce labor costs or to enter into negotiations with the certified bargaining representative of a craft or class of employees of the air carrier regarding pay or other terms and conditions of employment.
COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AND SNAP-BACK
Notwithstanding any other provision of law, any contractual relief or reduction to rates of pay, rules, and working conditions agreed to by the authorized representatives of the employees of an air carrier, or otherwise imposed on such employees, during or as result of the pandemic of the coronavirus COVID–19 by an air carrier that receives financial assistance under section 101 shall be terminated within 6 months, unless the authorized representatives of the employees choose to make an alternative agreement with the air carrier.
PROTECTION OF ORGANIZING ACTIVITY
A person receiving financial assistance under section 101 shall remain neutral in any communications with employees with respect to any efforts of an employee to organize, recruit, or assist in the organizing a labor organization.
LABOR UNION REPRESENTATION ON AIR CARRIER BOARDS
An air carrier receiving financial assistance under section 101 shall designate at least one seat on the air carrier’s board of directors for an individual who is a member or officer of a labor organization representing air carrier employees, with such individual to be named by such organization.

Still can’t get the connection between COVID-19 and collective bargaining but you know all of the unions infecting the federal government and our tax dollars will take as much as Democrats give them.

To Pelosi, Clyburn and Democrats, it’s all about getting all they can get, while they can get it. Pelosi’s already conceded the 2020 election to President Trump which is why she’s serpentined the budget process until next year.

How many lives will this “wish list” save against the Coronavirus? It was never about the American people; only those who’d vote for her and her party.

It was used as a visual aid during Al Gore’s propaganda piece “An Inconvenient Truth”; the only problem is that was yet another simple case of garbage in, garbage out.

Mann’s “hockey stick” graph, first published in 1998, was featured prominently in the U.N. IPCC 2001 climate report. The graph showed a spike in global average temperature in the 20th Century after about 500 years of stability. Skeptics have long claimed Mann’s graph was fraudulent.

Climate change skeptic Dr. Tim Ball called Mann out and as we all know, liberals have no sense of humor when they’re the butt of the joke.

Professor Mann is a climate professor at Penn State University. Mann filed his action in 2010 for Ball’s allegedly libelous statement that Mann “belongs in the state pen, not Penn State.”

After years of lawsuits, bolstered by years of Mann’s failure and/or reluctance to offer his hockey stick-climate change research into a courtroom for scrutiny, his case was finally thrown out of court and Mann was required to pay Dr. Ball’s court costs. In reality, this is a VERY big deal, given the media, activist, political craziness that essentially arose from bad data.

In 2003 a Canadian study showed the “hockey stick” curve “is primarily an artifact of poor data handling, obsolete data and incorrect calculation of principal components.” When the data was corrected it showed a warm period in the 15th Century that exceeded the warmth of the 20th Century.

Whoops.

And Dr. Ball’s victory was not just a monetary price paid….

Dr Ball, now affirmed as a courageous champion of honest science, has assured his place in the annals of real climate science. His gift to the world was sacrificing eight of his senior years, when he could have been enjoying his retirement, to exposing key players in the biggest science fraud of all time.

How huge is this really?

Given the near total blackout of media coverage on this lawsuit resolution, like the Trump-Russia-collusion hoax, some people will never admit they were wrong, especially when millions of taxpayer dollars in the form of education and research grants are at stake. Let’s not even include the political rhetoric surrounding all things “climate change”. Too many people, colleges, laboratories, and activist dot orgs have much to lose should the world ever come to grips with the fact that a disproportionate few are eating quite well off lies.

In his own words, Dr. Tim Ball explains the genesis of the multiple failed lawsuits against him, the use of SLAPP lawsuits to silence any kind of dissent, the lie called that “97% consensus”, the origin and intent of the United Nations’ tyrannical Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, and the implications for the “climate change” debate, going forward.

Yet another Thank You to Dr. Ball for (as he has done for us many times over the last decade plus) generously giving us his valuable personal time to do what he’s always done best: teach.

We’ve made the case before that it’s very easy to predict events 50 to 100 years from now (or 12) when few will be around to call you on it. Both Al Gore and now Barack Obama have proven they know they’ve been spewing bullshit for years and their actions prove it.

Al Gore predicts that our shores will be flooded and sea-bordering cities will sink beneath the water leaving millions of people homeless. His narration tells the audience that, due to global warming, melting ice could release enough water to cause at 20-foot rise in sea level “in the near future.”

As many of us are sensitive and may have experienced something as traumatic as a flooded basement after a freak torrential rain, if you knew a house has the potential to float away “in the near future”, why would you buy it?

That is, if you knew it wasn’t true but saying so could make you a lot of money.

In a move that critics may cite as his own inconvenient truth, former Vice President Al Gore and his wife, Tipper, have added a house in secluded Montecito, Calif., to their real estate holdings.

The couple spent $8,875,000 on a gated ocean-view villa on 1 1/2 acres with a swimming pool, spa and fountains, according to real estate sources familiar with the deal. The Italian-style house has high ceilings with beams in the public rooms, a family room, a wine cellar, terraces, six fireplaces, five bedrooms and nine bathrooms in more than 6,500 square feet of living space.

Granted, he’s not on the water line per se but when the pending flood arrives, Gore’s home would be in the zone where much tumult would ensue and anyone in his right mind, who truly believed in the whole “rising oceans” thing, would have purchased property far inland. That is, if what he was saying was something he truly believed.

Add former president Barack Obama, who also implored his supporters that there’s this “97% consensus” of scientists who say climate change is real, and he also says the oceans are rising at a perilous rate.

Oceans and their nearby regions are also highly vulnerable to the effects of a changing climate — a once-distant threat that is now very present and is affecting ecosystems and shoreline communities on every coast. Rising sea levels, coastal storms, and a growing risk of erosion and flooding are looming realities faced by seaside towns.

Well, that sounds like a good reason to avoid purchasing property at “shoreline communities on every coast” because of eventual “coastal storms, and a growing risk of erosion and flooding” at “seaside towns”. That is, again, if what he was saying was something he truly believed.

Despite the White House denying it, President Barack Obama is believed to have bought a beachfront Hawaii home with a celebrity past. Located in a secluded section of Honolulu, the property was once used in the filming of the hit television series Magnum P.I.

The property recently sold to a newly-formed LLC, with Marty Nesbitt—a close personal friend of Obama—signing the paperwork. It is likely that Obama bought the home using the LLC and his friend as a proxy. With the President’s term ending in less than two years, the timing gives him (and wife Michelle) just enough time to complete renovations. Either that, or Nesbitt is a big fan of the Aloha State and Magnum P.I., has $8.7M laying around, and shrouds his real estate deals in secrecy. But we wouldn’t bet on that.

Now, this house is right on the water; susceptible to a “rising ocean” that would almost totally submerge his home. Not a very good investment for someone who says bad things are coming.

Especially when you do that stupid thing twice….

Barack and Michelle Obama are reportedly trying to buy a sprawling estate in Martha’s Vineyard from Boston Celtics owner Wyc Grousbeck. The home is on the market for $14.85 million, and features seven-bedrooms and nine bathrooms inside the 7000 sq ft main residence.

Outside the main house, there’s 29 beachfront acres, a pool, chef’s kitchen, outdoor fireplace, and two guest wings.

Obviously, very few of those who’ve been forced to endure valuable classroom time watching “An Inconvenient Truth” or voted for and supported Barack Obama will ever get an up close and personal opportunity to ask both why they scared the bejeezus out of millions of children, prompting visuals of dying-by-drowning, while millions more try and pick up their lives after losing everything now floating aimlessly out to sea.

But there is always wisdom in some of our most simple of sayings and whomever came up with “Do as I say, not as I do” must have been in close proximity to P. T. Barnum who supposedly said, “There’s a sucker born every minute”.

Speaking of suckers, add President-Select Joe Biden’s “envoy for climate” John Kerry….

John Kerry and wife Teresa Heinz just plunked down a small fortune to purchase a historic property up island, far from the madding crowds that characterize Edgartown and Oak Bluffs in the summer.

Indeed, the former secretary of state, who likes to consider himself a man of the people, will be very hard to find at Seven Gates Farm, an exclusive enclave in Chilmark. Kerry and his wife — using a private trust to negotiate the deal — shelled out $11.75 million for the spectacular 18-acre property overlooking Vineyard Sound.

And when you’re a hypocritical elitist, all you have to add is, “private”.

But when you’re talking about numbers this big, there can’t be just one bad apple. There are probably thousands that just haven’t been outed yet.

The EPA’s highest-paid employee and a leading expert on climate change was sentenced to 32 months in federal prison Wednesday for lying to his bosses and saying he was a CIA spy working in Pakistan so he could avoid doing his real job.

Funny how there’s brief mention of Beale’s being a “climate change expert” in the NBC News piece. If he did nothing at his job, what does that say about the cause?

Beale, who is serving a 32-month sentence in the federal prison in Cumberland, Md., for pleading guilty to felony theft of government property, spent most of his career devising regulations under the Clean Air Act that are justified by science few have seen and no one has peer-reviewed, according to a report from the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee.

It also must be nice knowing you can be brazen beyond what no employee in the private sector would get away with in a few days, let alone years, all because you were a great foot soldier for the planet!

Beale, an NYU grad with a masters from Princeton, was earning a salary and bonuses of $206,000 a year, making him the highest paid official at the EPA. He earned more money than the agency’s administrator, Gina McCarthy, according to agency documents.

One of the reports states, Beale took 33 airplane trips between 2003 and 2011, costing the government $266,190. On 70 percent of those, he traveled first class and stayed at high end hotels, charging more than twice the government’s allowed per diem limit. But his expense vouchers were routinely approved by another EPA official, a colleague of Beale’s, whose conduct is now being reviewed by the inspector general, according to congressional investigators briefed on the report.

There were many red flags but when you believe you’re above being questioned and punishment, a federal employee can get away with things very few of us in the real world could… at least for awhile.

Seven weeks after the cruise, Beale told McCarthy that he’d banked some vacation time and would be using it to fill his final months at the EPA. His official retirement, therefore, wouldn’t begin until around January or February 2012.

He went off the radar after that, and everyone assumed he was retired.

But in November 2012, more than a year after the party on the Potomac, an HR employee went to McCarthy with cause for concern: Beale was still drawing a paycheck for his full salary of $206,000, including the 25-percent retention bonus that was supposed to be temporary—years after the incentive should have expired.

Investigators later put dollar amounts on his crimes: $437,901 in fraudulent retention bonuses, $58,127 for the “D.O. Oversight” absences, $8,000 for the parking spot, and so on. Altogether, he cost taxpayers $886,186.

Unlike businesses in the private sector which must be productive to meet a bottom line, the federal government has no bottom line to meet. When it needs money to keep operating, it seizes its operating capital from taxpayers. The only people keeping them accountable for work actually done is them.

We see how well that worked over the years and there’s NOTHING to convince us it’s not happening now on a grand scale.

UPDATE

It appears not much as changed within the federal government when it comes to those violating public trust for their own personal benefit, and too many are allowed to walk away relatively unpunished with their retirements intact.

Take, for example, the DEA executive who just this week was found to have engaged in nepotism by routing hundreds of thousands of dollars to contractor jobs for his son and retired colleagues or friends.

… authorizing a total of $340,280 in spending, including a raise, specifically for his son’s contractor position; and took actions in contravention of appropriate procedures to hire two former DEA colleagues as contractors in his chain of command, including the spouse of a retired former colleague…

The official also engaged in a “lack of candor,” the investigative file showed. Despite the established wrongdoing, criminal prosecution “was declined” and “the senior DEA official retired from his position.” In short, he kept his retirement benefits.

Likewise, the inspector general had harsh words for the FBI special agent in charge (SAC) who used the bureau’s official garage to perform repairs on his and other employees’ personal vehicles, calling it, among other things, a “dereliction of supervisory responsibility,” and a misuse of tax dollars for “private gain.”

And then there was the FBI lawyer who got caught in an embarrassing criminal act at the Marine Corps barracks (MCB) commissary in Quantico, Va. “The FBI attorney admitted to placing numerous cosmetic items, valued at $257.99 and belonging to the MCB Quantico Exchange, into her purse without the intention to pay for them and did not pay for them before leaving the store. The FBI attorney further admitted that between February 2016 and her arrest in February 2018 she had shoplifted at the MCB Quantico Exchange one to two additional times, and at other private retailers in the area on two to three occasions,” the inspector general reported on May 14.

The investigation concluded her conduct violated federal criminal law and FBI policy regarding unprofessional conduct. But here was the outcome: “Criminal prosecution was deferred pending the FBI attorney’s completion of 125 hours of community service, after which all charges were dismissed.”

Two weeks ago, another DOJ official, an assistant U.S. attorney, escaped charges even after it was documented that he violated federal laws by possessing, transporting and consuming marijuana-laced edibles that he claimed he needed to treat back pain. He also was caught lying about his wrongdoing and ‘fessed up only when his estranged wife threatened him during their divorce proceedings. Nonetheless, “criminal prosecution by federal and state authorities was declined,” the IG reported May 30.

These people wouldn’t hesitate in busting us to the fullest extent of the law, but when they commit crimes, they’re taken care of by their own.

This is not reassuring at all.

To be fair, on January 21, 2019 when Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez spoke at the MLKNow event in New York City honoring Martin Luther King Jr., she was not the first Democrat to think black people are intellectually inferior, thus could be told something that defies common sense.

But she did.

So, instead of being an adult and admitting she was wrong, Ocasio-Cortez not only claimed we all heard her wrong but we would’ve been really stupid to have taken her literally.

So, from now on we suggest that anything said by Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez not be fact checked. That would hurt her fragile feelings.

But you’d have to have the social intelligence of a sea sponge to literally accept anything she says as factual.

While we’re STILL here three decades after that “prediction”, yet it hasn’t stopped the left from ramping up the absurd.

Politicians are supposedly held to account for their actions because they, for the most part, have two to four years to make good on their campaign promises. Imagine what we’d be told if they knew the couldn’t be called on their promises because most of us would literally be dead by the time they were supposed to make good.

That’s exactly what climate alarmists bank on when they make outrageous predictions, especially to captive children in classrooms, devoid of opposing views.

The visuals they present are nothing less than what could be considered child abuse.

There were blatant deceptions used by actual “science” publications until they were called on it and had to issue a retraction.

The calls to arms are sensational. Yes, the climate is changing and it has since the planet was created. What we experience today has been experienced before… LONG before industrialization but that little bit of informational context is almost always left out of the hysterical headlines and classroom presentations.

Headlines predicting imminent doom after many of us are conveniently no longer around to remind them how wrong they were again.

By the year 2100, models predict sea level will rise between about 20 and 50 cm (8 to 20 inches) above late 20th Century levels.

What the impressionable activists-in-the-making are never told are the many predictions that were made loud, proud, and with conviction that DIDN’T come to fruition. Many of these are, again, outrageous forecasts that very few of us will be around to call them on and that was only up until 2014.

So how is it so many supposedly so smart (because they’re “scientists”) get it so wrong, so often, yet they keep pushing something they know they’ll never be held accountable for?

As usual, it all comes down to that pile of never-ending taxpayer money.

According to a recent report by the U.S. Government Accountability Office, “Federal funding for climate change research, technology, international assistance, and adaptation has increased from $2.4 billion in 1993 to $11.6 billion in 2014, with an additional $26.1 billion for climate change programs and activities provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act in 2009.”

Five years ago, a leftist group called the Climate Policy Initiative issued a study which found that “Global investment in climate change” reached $359 billion that year. Then to give you a sense of how money-hungry these planet-saviors are, the CPI moaned that this spending “falls far short of what’s needed” a number estimated at $5 trillion.

That taxpayer money funds federal, state and local environmental agencies, university professors and departments, hundreds of grants for environmental “nonprofits”, and tax breaks for corporations that only have to pledge and make the minimum of compliance expenditures in going “green”.

They’re even messing with our skies on an almost daily basis, without public input or consent, and with seemingly zero concern of the possible health ramifications how their climate meddling will affect all living below their taxpayer-funded experiments.

Because we have those who’ve found another niche cause, driven by raw emotion and the cowardly scaring of children and parents who eventually become active. We have mostly white liberal “scientists” who’ve found a great line of secure employment while never having to produce meaningful data to back up their dire warnings.

Your local meteorologist can’t tell you, with any degree of certainty, what the weather will be in three days yet we’re being told how to alter our behavior based on science that’s found to repeatedly be wrong and those prognosticators have the benefit they’ll never have to answer for why they’re so wrong, so often.

Because… it’s the weather.
