The Biden administration has “paused” its controversial plans to create a Disinformation Board, causing its would-be leader to resign.

In a statement Wednesday, Nina Jankowicz, the “disinformation expert” tapped to head the panel, said that “[w]ith the Board’s work paused and its future uncertain, and [sic] I have decided to leave DHS [the Department of Homeland Security] to return to my work in the public sphere.” Jankowicz’s departure and the decision to scrap the board was first reported by the Washington Post.

Whenever a liberal claims to be “mischaracterized”, it means uncomfortable truth was made public.

Jankowicz’s idea of standing up for the First Amendment included letting “verified” Twitter users “edit” other users’ tweets if the blue-checked chosen think they’re misleading. Jankowicz also repeatedly tried to spread doubt about The Post’s own reporting about Hunter Biden’s notorious laptop, telling the Associated Press in October 2020 that it should be viewed as “a Trump campaign product.” In addition, Jankowicz pushed the since-debunked claim in 2016 that then-presidential candidate Donald Trump had a tie to Kremlin-linked Alfa-Bank, an allegation at the center of an ongoing trial of a Clinton campaign lawyer accused by special counsel John Durham of lying to the FBI.

The misinformation maven was also ripped for a bizarre TikTok performance from February 2021 in which she altered the lyrics to the “Mary Poppins” song “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” to be about fake news.

Afghan refugees will be dumped in their neighborhood and all considerations to the residents are rescinded.

Sheriff Chapman Addresses Potential Relocation of Afghan Refugees by DHS to the National Conference Center in Lansdowne

Loudoun County, VA (February 17, 2022)- On February 4, 2022, the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) received an unannounced visit by the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Federal Protective Service (FPS) in which it learned that approximately 2000 Afghan refugees, per month, were slated to arrive at the Washington Dulles International Airport during a window beginning as early as February 19, 2022, and extending to September 2022.

That’s at least 16,000 Afghans, but you know it will probably be more, not less.

DHS/FPS regional personnel advised the refugees would be transported by bus to the National Conference Center (NCC) where they would stay until their ultimate relocation elsewhere in the United States. DHS/FPS estimated that no more than 1000 refugees per month would remain at the NCC at any given time until September 2022. The refugees, for the most part, would enter the US from Qatar. DHS/FPS advised that the refugees will be provided cash and cell phones from non-government organizations and be required to remain on the NCC grounds.

While hundreds of thousands of Americans are currently circumnavigating “programs” created to alleviate their homeless status, Afghan refugees have been given head-of-line status to receive “cash and cell phones”. Must be nice as you know they’ll also be given a prompt, soft place to land as well.

As the information was vague, Sheriff Chapman raised this issue at a committee meeting the following day in Washington, DC. He was immediately contacted by members of DHS and received a phone call from the DHS executive staff. A follow-up conference call with a senior member of FEMA occurred the following day where he raised concerns about DHS’ lack of communication, lack of planning, language barriers, a failure to communicate with a myriad of potential stakeholders, and the NCC’s unfenced proximity to a residential neighborhood and two public schools.

A “failure to communicate” or an issue not to be considered their problem…?

While the LCSO is more than willing to assist Afghan refugees and their families who provided support to our military and defense personnel in Afghanistan, DHS had difficulty addressing several concerns raised during a subsequent conversation. These concerns are provided below:

What level of vetting has been conducted to ensure refugees entering Loudoun County had aided the United States and were not a threat to the US or our local community?

DHS Response – Refugees had been carefully vetted and many served as translators. However, when asked how if in fact they served as translators when only 30% of the refugees spoke English, DHS responded that many of the incoming refugees were family members of the translators.

Biden’s assertions and actual numbers never add up.

Recent reports have let the American people know that the Biden administration’s “vetting process” when it comes to Afghans has been piss poor to date and many with clear terror ties have gone dark once released into the United States. Assurances from the Department of Homeland Security should be taken with a huge grain of salt.

Considering the NCC is located within a largely residential area of Lansdowne and within walking distance of Riverside High School and Belmont Ridge Middle School, what arrangements were made with Loudoun County stakeholders to ensure the area is secure for the community?

DHS advised that the FPS would provide 15 officers for security at the NCC. However, the FPS has no law enforcement jurisdiction in Loudoun County and cannot enforce nor investigate any criminal activity on the campus.

They’ll be Loudoun County’s problem.

When pressed further about safety issues, DHS stated that the NCC would be designated a federal facility. What would that mean?

Basically nothing. Regardless of that designation, any potential criminal activity or domestic issues that might occur on the NCC campus would not fall under federal code but under state and local law, therefore limiting FPS’ ability to intervene, assist, or investigate these matters.

They’ll be Loudoun County’s problem.

What communications had been done to prepare area residents who may be impacted by this?

None.

Why is this no surprise?

It sounds like it Afghan refugees would simply be dumped off in Loudoun County with no consideration for those who not only live there, but the taxpayers who’ll have to foot the bill for dealing with any problems they’ll bring with them.

What coordination with other Loudoun County stakeholders had been performed to this point to include Loudoun County Fire and Rescue (for medical emergencies), Loudoun County Public Schools, Loudoun County Department of Mental Health, Social Services, local hospitals, the Adams Center, or other area houses of faith, or the County government at large?  

None. DHS stated that no coordination had occurred and that no notifications had been made to the community surrounding the NCC (as of February 15). Additionally, no coordination had been performed either with the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Director of Public Safety.

Of course not.

The Biden administration fucked up the “largest airlift of people in history” from Afghanistan, let anyone get on the flights out, squelched most of the reports of the crimes some of the refugees committed on the military bases they were sent to and in the surrounding neighborhoods, and left their logistics to non-governmental organizations that have no sense of urgency to address their situation because they’re on the clock.

What federal financial assistance would be proposed to help with the added responsibilities to stakeholders?

DHS proposed grant funding. Unfortunately, any grant funding would likely be available well after the projected September exit date of the refugees.

Translation: Again, they’re Loudoun County’s problem until September and then they’ll be accepting grant applications that will take as long as the Biden administration get’s around to process them. No positive outcome is guaranteed and it will probably fall on the locals to foot the bill.

Sheriff Chapman’s concerns were brought to the highest levels of DHS and on February 8^th, he received a telephone call directly from DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. Secretary Mayorkas apologized for the lack of communication by DHS with the LCSO and other stakeholders but assured Sheriff Chapman that his concerns would be addressed.

Mayorkas has had to issue a lot of “apologies” during his short term.

On February 15, 2022, Sheriff Chapman and his command staff met with members of DHS FPS, the US Secret Service, and FEMA, at which time Sheriff Chapman insisted that DHS draft a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to ensure the roles and expectations of all stakeholders are clearly delineated and agreed upon, as well as the duration the refugees will be staying at the NCC. DHS offered to provide security cameras, fencing around the perimeter with additional FPS personnel and interpreters; however, no additional accommodations were offered.

As of this date, a draft MOU has not been produced and DHS has not yet contracted with the NCC.

Agencies of the Biden administration have blown off multiple requests, be them from congressional or senate committees conducting oversight, for documents, responses to questions from lawmakers, etc.

You know Sheriff Chapman is low on their priority list.

“As I have a responsibility for the safety and security of Loudoun’s citizens, I want to ensure that our community is aware of the concerns we have raised and the expectations we have from our partners with the federal government. Currently, those expectations have not been met, and we continue to have concerns as to whether the NCC is an appropriate location to support this mission,” said Sheriff Chapman. “We will continue to keep our community informed as this process continues. If the resettlement proceeds, we will work with the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors and all stakeholders to ensure that appropriate resources are obtained for the refugees’ successful transition into the United States,” he added.

We applaud Sheriff Chapman for his public optimism during a time of unknowns and non-responses from DHS. Behind closed doors, he’s probably shaking his head trying to wrap his arms around the shit show Biden has dumped in his jurisdiction.

You know this will be yet another topic that will be on the table come November because the chances these Afghan citizens will be model citizens before then are slim to none. Most will be thankful at first but the whining, criticisms and demands from the growing ungrateful will soon come.

The Maryland Democrat got emotional while discussing the conditions of detention facilities for migrants at the U.S.-Mexico border are being held in. Reading from a court document in which a federal judge found that Homeland Security “did a better job of tracking immigrants’ personal property than their children,” House Oversight Chairman Elijah Cummings repeatedly shut down McAleenan’s attempts to speak.

“I’m talking about human beings,” Cummings said. “I’m not talking about people that come from, as the president said, shitholes. These are human beings. Human beings. Just trying to live a better life.”

But Democrats have now declared any criticism of an elected “person of color” racist in their ongoing practice of shutting down opposition instead of engaging in civil debate; usually debates they know they’ll lose and now pointing out the reality that is the City of Baltimore is also “racist”.

So what is that reality that is Baltimore? You just have to be able to count, look at what’s been going on there for years and the subsequent political blame has merit.

It’s not hard to see what’s going on here. The congressman has been a thorn in this president’s side, and Mr. Trump sees attacking African American members of Congress as good politics, as it both warms the cockles of the white supremacists who love him and causes so many of the thoughtful people who don’t to scream. President Trump bad-mouthed Baltimore in order to make a point that the border camps are “clean, efficient & well run,” which, of course, they are not — unless you are fine with all the overcrowding, squalor, cages and deprivation to be found in what the Department of Homeland Security’s own inspector-general recently called “a ticking time bomb.”

Pointing out systemic Democrat failures will accomplish nothing as the current strategy illustrates. Blame President Trump for the crime, rats and make it all about race. That way, Elijah Cummings and dozens of black Democrats (who represent the very districts they refuse to live in) can continue to do for their constituents what they’ve been doing for years.

How can they be held accountable?

Well, there’s 8 U.S. Code § 1324 for starters.

Harboring — Subsection 1324(a)(1)(A)(iii) makes it an offense for any person who — knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that an alien has come to, entered, or remains in the United States in violation of law, conceals harbors, or shields from detection, or attempts to conceal, harbor, or shield from detection, such alien in any place, including any building or any means of transportation.

The problem is countless of Americans have been impacted by the presence of illegal aliens; many have had personal property stolen and the physical damages range from varying degrees of injury from drunk drivers, assaults, rapes and murder, yet elected officials wish to protect them over citizens.

In the case of a few states, illegals are being protected by the same elected politicians who’ve been tasked with protecting the public.

It’s not only politicians that make it easy for illegal aliens to freely move and thus avoid apprehension from law enforcement.

There are a myriad of nonprofits who assist illegal aliens in obtaining all kinds of local, state, and federal government benefits ranging from food, cash, legal and housing assistance. They are essentially aiding and abetting illegal activities but under the umbrella of their nonprofit status, also receive tax benefits and protections while sheltering those who’ve broken at least one federal law, if not more.

Politicians and activists who support them should not be above the law and imagine how these politicians might uphold their sworn duties if they faced the ramification of their actions and were held responsible for the lives affected and/or lost.

Penalties — The basic statutory maximum penalty for violating 8 U.S.C. § 1324(a)(1)(i) and (v)(I) (alien smuggling and conspiracy) is a fine under title 18, imprisonment for not more than 10 years, or both. In addition, significant enhanced penalties are provided for in violations of 8 U.S.C. § 1324(a)(1) involving serious bodily injury or placing life in jeopardy. Moreover, if the violation results in the death of any person, the defendant may be punished by death or by imprisonment for any term of years.

Think about the thousands of Americans who’d be here today had those who took the oath to uphold our laws, done their jobs in the first place and had been appropriately punished when they blew off our laws for self-serving political motivations.

If not for the obvious agenda and indifference to the safety of the American people, the following could not be said with a straight face.

As is often the case, irony rears its ugly head. California legislators have told ICE to butt out and leave illegals alone… that is until they got their way and now have to assume the costs.

San Diego County is suing the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) over the rising cost of asylum seekers. The Southern California county filed a lawsuit Wednesday against the heads of the agencies within the department, claiming the county has suffered from the release of asylum-seeking migrants.

Many illegal immigrants can not be immediately deported and must be allowed to stay in the country to wait out their court case, because of loopholes in immigration law.

“Loopholes”…? Try judges, lawmakers, immigration lawyers and nonprofits who advocate for illegals over US Immigration law.

Due to limited funds and housing resources, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) were forced to stop implementing their “safe release” policy last fall, which provided asylum seekers assistance to reach destinations outside of San Diego. The county is now left to front the bill for the upkeep of migrant shelters and medical care, which is estimated to cost millions of dollars.

This lawsuit is a dramatic shift for San Diego as supervisors last April voted to back the Trump administration’s lawsuit challenging California sanctuary laws.

U.S. mayors decry Trump sanctuary city threat, ‘prepared to welcome’ migrants

Portland Mayor: Trump’s Threat to Bus Immigrants to Sanctuary Cities Is “Unconscionable”

It sounds so “unconscionable” and heartless when they intentionally leave out the word “illegal”.

Also unconscionable are the hundreds of people whose lives have been directly and negatively affected by those who the federal, state and local politicians decided not to protect the public from.

As Americans, we should only care about three things: (1) are the immigrants in the U.S. illegally; (2) have they committed violent crimes predominantly against U.S. citizens; and (3) had these criminals not been in our country illegally, these crimes, the victimization of our citizens and the costs of their crimes borne by American taxpayers could have been completely avoided.

Research conducted by the federal government oversight organization Judicial Watch in 2014 documents that 50 percent of all federal crimes were committed near our border with Mexico.

The pro-illegal immigrant lobby consistently misrepresents the criminal involvement of illegal immigrants as compared to immigrants who legally enter the U.S. and American citizens, saying that illegal immigrants commit less crimes than their counterparts.

According to the FBI, 67,642 murders were committed in the U.S. from 2005 through 2008, and 115,717 from 2003 through 2009. The General Accounting Office documents that criminal immigrants committed 25,064 of these murders.

While they live in protected homes, workplaces and some even have round-the-clock armed security, they left the public at risk from those whose very first act in the United States was a violation of federal law.

But it’s past the point where their self-absorption and lack of maturity is no longer a surprise, no matter where they decide to act out.

Sources tell Fox News the woman in question is 21-year-old Caitlin Marriott, who is interning in the office of Sen. Maggie Hassan, D-N.H. Fox News is told she has not been terminated and will continue to work there through August.

Fox News is told that Marriott’s decision to hector President Trump was “impulsive.”

Aside from the lack of decorum that would’ve been enough to have us banished for publicly embarrassing our families back-in-the-day, the fact it was applauded by the under-30’s in today’s “media” is even more evidence of how they don’t deserve the pitards they’ve been hoisted upon.

Yelling fuck you to the president isn’t exactly novel; it happens a million times a day online. But there was something different about this one, not only because it reportedly came from a congressional intern, but because it was said directly to him. It’s unclear if the president heard the insult, and even if he did, whether the wet rats who pull the steampunk levers in his desiccated brain would have processed it anyway. But it was a sorely needed message delivered directly.

Whether we’re talking about a Reality Winner or this “intern”, millennials are consistently showing they have questionable maturity, integrity and many don’t deserve to be in some of the important positions they currently hold.

One of the activists who chased Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen out of a Mexican restaurant Tuesday night over the Trump administration’s immigration policies is an employee of the Department of Justice. The Washington Examiner spoke with Alison Hrabar Wednesday and she defended her behavior as off government time and a use of her First Amendment rights.

Despite Hrabar’s claims of keeping her personal politics outside of her time as an employee of the federal government, a look at her Twitter account, @allisongeroi, features tweets during the workday openly celebrating her behavior Tuesday night.

“Keeping families together in jail is not an acceptable solution,” Hrabar tweeted Wednesday afternoon at 1:56 PM.

Yes, there is a First Amendment, being a rude jerk is not illegal, but enough of what we used to take for granted as civilized behavior has been thrown out the window and rewritten by the youthful, all-about-ME-ME-ME typo-prone.

Millennials got so many participation trophies growing up that a recent study showed that 40% believe they should be promoted every two years, regardless of performance. They are fame-obsessed: three times as many middle school girls want to grow up to be a personal assistant to a famous person as want to be a Senator, according to a 2007 survey; four times as many would pick the assistant job over CEO of a major corporation. Their development is stunted: more people ages 18 to 29 live with their parents than with a spouse, according to the 2012 Clark University Poll of Emerging Adults. And they are lazy. In 1992, the nonprofit Families and Work Institute reported that 80% of people under 23 wanted to one day have a job with greater responsibility; 10 years later, only 60% did.

There will soon come a time when hiring a millennial may be a risky proposition. Will someone within a company want to be called on the carpet by his or her boss and have to explain the actions of an immature person whose employment they greenlighted? While we just went to work and did our jobs, many accommodations have been made to make life less stressful for the millennial and the return on investment is questionable at best.

Should we ever be in the position to start hiring, bringing on someone in this problematic demographic would not be in our best interest.

Margaret McLaughlin, another activist who protested Nielsen, said that “as long as the Trump administration is going to separate families at the border and bust unions and put more and more people at danger — all kinds of people — we are going to continue to fight.”

“The people that are responsible for these policies should not be able to live in peace,” McLaughlin said.

When recently retired DHS frontline officer and intelligence expert Philip Haney bravely tried to say something about the people and organizations that threatened the nation, his intelligence information was eliminated, and he was investigated by the very agency assigned to protect the country

DHS does appear to know what they’re doing.

They’re just prevented from acting upon what they discover and that directive is coming from the top, at the cost of many American lives.

Philip Haney, a former Homeland Security Department official during the Obama administration who blew the whistle on his own agency, was found dead Friday with a gunshot wound about 40 miles east of Sacramento, California.

“Upon their arrival, they located and identified 66-year-old Philip Haney, who was deceased and appeared to have suffered a single, self-inflicted gunshot wound. A firearm was located next to Haney and his vehicle. This investigation is active and ongoing. No further details will be released at this time,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement.
