Former President Trump and Fox News anchor Bret Baier argued over Trump’s false claims of a rigged election in 2020 during a contentious interview that aired Monday on the network.

“First of all, I won in 2020 by a lot,” Trump said when Baier asked him how he plans to appeal to independent voters in 2024. “You know that’s not what … ” Baier interjected as Trump talked over him.

The former president floated unfounded theories about ballot harvesting and voter fraud, to which Baier pushed back, saying, “Mr. President that’s all been looked into. You lost the 2020 election,” Baier told Trump, noting the numerous recounts and lawsuits that followed Trump’s refusal to admit defeat in the weeks after the election.

The Founding Fathers gave the media protection in the First Amendment of the Constitution with the caveat that they keep the public informed. It didn’t have to be said that the information presented be accurate. Maybe it should’ve been. Especially over the last decade, the media has made numerous declarations and a good portion of the populace believed them. As usual, when those declarations turned out to be untrue, corrections are buried if issued at all. Apologies? Zip, zero, nada.

Does CNN ever apologize for getting it wrong — putting out false or deliberately misleading information — again and again and again and again and again?

No, CNN simply pretends all of this failure derives from good-faith errors rather than wishcasting and flamboyantly obvious partisan hackery, then dials the whataboutism up to 11.

The lack of contrition is expected because some of the overpaid in the media risk loss of their income should the public not trust them. Brian Williams seems to be one of the exceptions of a busted liar who continues to get high paying gigs while a laughing stock. But the media gets it wrong so often, it takes a certain amount of chutzpah to insist the public accept them at their word, for example, when it comes to the 2020 election as the “most secure in history“.

In fact, the media is wrong so often, there are posts dedicated to not letting the arrogant off the hook so easily.

There is a major source of misinformation that’s rarely mentioned in news stories — the news media themselves. A Columbia University’s Tow Center for Digital Journalism study found that “news organizations play a major role in propagating hoaxes, false claims, questionable rumors, and dubious viral content.”  In another study, Harvard’s Yochai Benkler, Robert Faris, and Hal Roberts examined four million online messages transmitted or shared during the 2016 election campaign, including those from the websites of traditional news outlets like the New York Times and fake news sites like those of Russian operatives. The research team expected the Russian effort to be a major source of disinformation, and it was. But they discovered that traditional media were a larger contributor.

It’s best not to believe any media story nowadays. They’ve clearly earned the mistrust.

Sadly, they also depend on their consumers being too lazy to do the due diligence and investigate further on their own, which unfortunately explains how easy it is to continue to include “The View” under the ABC News banner.

But when the media insists you believe masks work and vaccines are safe, climate catastrophes a century from now can be prevented today, elections where Democrats win should always be accepted, and especially when they insist you believe them because they say so, have one word at the ready…

Why?

It doesn’t hurt to have help from a friendly media.

Questions President Biden was asked during CNN’s town hall Thursday night were posed by mostly Democrats — only giving two Republicans the opportunity to quiz the president on the various crises his administration is facing. Earlier this week, CNN announced the town hall would be an “invitation-only audience,” mirroring another forum the outlet hosted in July in Ohio.

Almost every question was read to Biden and they sounded more like focus group, activist-approved verbiage than inquiries from concerned citizens.

CNN did not reveal who would be invited or how they were selected, but following the July event, the Enquirer, a Cincinnati-based publication, discovered the media company reached out to various organizations such as labor unions, colleges and business organizations “who sent messages asking people to apply.”

CNN didn’t respond to questions about how people were chosen. Fewer than 500 people were there, audience members told The Enquirer. They all submitted three potential questions to ask the president ahead of time to CNN.

The propaganda wing will forge on because government still gets paid when they fail.

Before they lost the 2016 election, the Hillary Clinton campaign tried to set up Donald Trump with fake accusations and use those accusations to portray him as a traitor. They wasted near $32 million taxpayer dollars paying Democrat lawyers in a failed investigation. They lied to courts so they could spy on American citizens. Entertainers publicly fantasized about killing the president. They used third-party hearsay to launch an unsuccessful impeachment proceeding. They harassed and intimidated Administration officials at restaurants and at their homes. They doxxed and assaulted the president’s supporters. They assaulted and assassinated police officers. They used social and the news media to cover-for and censor opposition. They cheated to win the 2020 election. During that time, they vandalized, burned, looted and seized control over parts of major American cities. In 2020, they voted for a senile, old man who, at times, didn’t know where he was or which office he was running for and now wants us to “unite” behind him.

One can clearly see that Democrats are certifiably insane.

Now that Joe Biden believes he’s going to be the next President of the United States, even though his supporters threaten mass violence if he lost on Election Night, he conveniently wants Republicans and conservatives to forget an elongated, abusive past.

“Unite” with Democrats means give them all they want, or else.

That’ll be a tough one, Joe.

This is one of those moments.

Opening the September 24, 2020 broadcast of the CBS Evening News with Norah O’Donnell with the growing unrest after the announcement regarding the officers involved with the Breonna Taylor shooting, reporter Jericka Duncan reported from the streets of Louisville, Kentucky.

At least that’s what CBS wanted everyone watching to believe….

Bravely doing her segment during what she hoped would be another “mostly peaceful” protest, Duncan wore a bulletproof vest. A sign that thing could go from bad-to-worse at any moment.

The problem was award-winning journalist Jericka Duncan was not on the street. It looks like she was in a studio, standing in front of a green screen, motioning like she was doing a weather report, and it may have not been the first time. Any video professional can see the keying and the lighting; perfect while no one immediately behind her was affected. Canned, tastefully-leveled protest audio with none of the customary profanity. What perfect timing!

Kinda’ makes you wonder when she “won a local “Best Morning Show” Emmy award after reporting on winter storms” in 2008, if those reports where done from a nice, toasty studio.

The drama she was implying, wearing a vest, was fake. Her presence there was fake. Norah O’Donnell knew it was fake.

But this wasn’t a one-time ruse. In studio wardrobe, Jericka possibly “reported” from the Louisville streets in front of a green screen on September 22nd as well….

While “mostly peaceful” protests have continued nightly since the announcements were made, the need for Duncan’s bulletproof vest appears to have subsided. In fact, upon reviewing other news accounts on the ground in Louisville, Jericka Duncan may have been the only news reporter to have donned such protective equipment.

But we’re to trust and believe CBS and their “news”.

Donald Trump and the White House comms shop put together a video montage chronicling the media lying, chronicling the media distorting by name, by video, by face, by picture, and they had a meltdown. CNN bugged out of the coverage, claiming that Trump was turning the briefing into a propaganda session, that Trump was turning it into a meltdown.

The meltdown occurred at CNN, MSNBC, and the New York Times because they were exposed. The lies they’ve been telling. And look, Trump had to do this. The White House did this because the New York Times ran that story on Saturday that Trump was unprepared, that millions and millions more lives would be saved if Trump had just known what he was doing.

All notion of the lack “respect for the office” was evidenced when millennial “journalist” Paula Reid spoke to the president in a manner we all know she wouldn’t dare do to her boss unless she really wanted to get fired. It’s also clear CBS News was prepared for fireworks as they only had three lower third graphics prepared for the briefing: “White House Coronavirus Task Force gives update“, “For the latest on the Coronavirus response go to CBSNews.com/coronavirus“, and the only person identified by name was not doctors Fauci or Birx, Treasury secretary Mnuchin or even President Trump: it was “Paula Reid CBS News White House Correspondent“.

All it took to tweak her (and others in the media) was the audacity of President Trump, not only throwing their words back in their faces but also doing to their faces and making them sit through it.

Unlike legendary journalist Helen Thomas who worked 19 years in the craft before she achieved White House correspondent status, Reid got a job at CBS News with an unrelated journalism education, and like others, rose to White House correspondent in relative short order thus further cheapening the importance and value of the position.

Not that anyone would expect full disclosure from the media and how personal issues might taint coverage, but Paula Reid’s husband is a lobbyist for China which could be why the president said she’s the “last person on earth” who’d get any heads up on anything regarding “consequences” for China.

CNN’s John King later voiced his displeasure of his fellow media correspondents having to be so demeaned as to have to watch “taxpayer-funded propaganda”. King believes his CNN audience is ignorant of the fact that many federal agencies have fully-staffed, professional video studios where officials put out “taxpayer-funded” propaganda any time they want. The problem for King is President Trump countered some of the very incorrect messages national media outlets sent out to the public, just because it was the opposite of what the president said.

While King and Wolf Blitzer lament the new low at White House pressers, the unprecedented number of attacks on President Trump slightly outnumber the amount of incorrect, cherry-picked stories the media released with fury and retractions buried, if corrected at all. But as the broadcast media has conveniently edited-for-time as their excuse for taking things out of context, President Trump should refrain from taking up valuable time for during future press briefings.

The White House should put out longer versions on social media, tagging members of the media who got things very wrong, numerous times, and still have their jobs.

One problem: it doesn’t appear to be correct.

But the intended damage was already done….

What’s most interesting is in ABC News’ own report, two minutes eighteen seconds in length, the last twenty seconds featured Jonathan Karl’s CYA as he knows he’ll be in President Trump’s crosshairs (again) the next time he has to assume his role as Chief White House Correspondent.

The deteriorated standards of what used to be called “journalism” are clearly at play here as there was a time where no stories would EVER be based on “sources” who refused to go on the record for the obvious reasons.

“Analysts concluded it could be a cataclysmic event,” according to an unnamed source who told ABC the reports were then “briefed multiple times,” to the DIA, the Pentagon’s Joint Staff, and the White House.

One of the reasons, which has been proven true over the years, is that some journalists will create fictitious sources and events to back up their preferred narrative. We’re not saying that happened here but suspicions are not unwarranted. When those creating product have clear condescension and contempt for their consumers, issuing misleading stories meant to damage the president before a president election is easy.

As the main mission of most in the professional media has been the destruction of the Trump presidency, any semblance of journalistic ethics were thrown out the window the moment Donald Trump announced his candidacy in 2015.

We’re not sure if this is the case here, but if the person stating someone said something “racist” and is in the White House, one would think that person would give the name to a senior White House official, if not the public.

Of course when called on it, the response was like that of petulant child busted in a lie, obfuscating instead of coming clean.

White House senior advisor Kellyanne Conway repeatedly responded to PBS NewsHour correspondent Yamiche Alcindor, who appeared to have been trying to provide cover for racism-accuser CBS News’ Weijia Jiang, and could not get a simple answer as to who in the White House said “kung flu”. During a #Coronavirus update yesterday, Alcindor actually took valuable time to ask President Trump about the White House staffer who supposedly said it.

With all of the sickness and death COVID-19 is spreading around the United States and the world, having journalists, pundits, and shut-in liberals getting all bent because of what the virus is being called is sophomoric at best. Calling anyone who uses the label “Wuhan virus” or “Chinese flu” as racist is part of that social justice tactic of renaming things that trigger the emotionally fragile. But seeing how the #Coronavirus was developed and initially unleashed in the Wuhan Province in China, it’s only reasonable to call it where it came from, just like many viruses before this.

As said many times before, it’s a great disservice that seasoned journalists with decades of experience are not occupying the privileged positions as White House correspondents; those who’ve proven themselves to be the documented crème de la crème instead of the young and cheap (Jiang is 36) we’re being subjected to.

Mr. President, thank you. I want to first follow-up on Jeff’s question because the person you were standing next to, whether you know who he is or not, tested positive for coronavirus. Dr. Fauci said this morning, if you stand next to somebody who tested positive, you should self-isolate and get a test. Doctors have said you might have it, even if you don’t have symptoms? Are you being selfish by not getting tested and potentially…?

During a June 22, 2017 House Minority Leader Weekly Briefing, we got an explanation on what was to come as explained by an industry pro.

If Jiang can’t give the name, she should be removed immediately from the White House press pool. If, after all this time, that staffer is named and denies making the “slur”, he or she should be required to submit to a polygraph test. If the result comes back that the “slur” was never made, CBS News and Jiang should be sued.

BTW — Hate hoaxes are at pandemic levels within her age group.

Maybe this foolishness will stop, at least for a little while.

And now that the next shoe to drop will be the Inspector General of the United States Department of Justice’s report on misconduct by pro-Hillary Clinton “career” Justice Department and intelligence officials that sought to frame candidate-and-now President Trump that will surely result in criminal referrals, the colluding media is now looking for a way to say that they weren’t knowingly spreading misinformation and/or Democrat talking points.

These uber-professionals in the media… were fooled.

The 35-page dossier, spiced up with tales of prostitutes and spies, sketched out a hair-raising story more than two years ago. Russian intelligence had used bribery and blackmail to try to turn Donald J. Trump into a source and ally, it said, and the Kremlin was running some Trump campaign aides practically as agents.

But the release on Thursday of the report by the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, underscored what had grown clearer for months — that while many Trump aides had welcomed contacts with the Russians, some of the most sensational claims in the dossier appeared to be false, and others were impossible to prove. Mr. Mueller’s report contained over a dozen passing references to the document’s claims but no overall assessment of why so much did not check out.

Really? Could it be the partisans on Mueller’s team wanted the liberal base to believe it and Democrats on the Hill and in the media to repeat it 24/7 on cable news and major news publications?

Now the dossier — financed by Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee, and compiled by the former British intelligence agent Christopher Steele — is likely to face new, possibly harsh scrutiny from multiple inquiries.

Yes, the New York Times just printed something MOST of the Democrat base still doesn’t know (thanks to the misdirections by the cable news megaphones) and by doing so, has discreetly thrown he under the bus for future road-kill consumption by carnivorous insect and mammal alike.

Attorney General William Barr has said he will review the F.B.I.’s conduct in the Russia investigation. His remark that there was “spying” on the Trump campaign has already encouraged Republican accusations of misconduct.

The fact AG Barr made that now-infamous implied allegation, it’s clear he wouldn’t have gone there if he didn’t know something. Something that’s now scaring the shit out of senior DOJ-FBI-CIA officials and the willing below them who dutifully carried out their mission to save the nation from Donald Trump.

While The New York Times and many other news organizations published little about the document’s unverified claims, social media partisans and television commentators discussed them almost daily over the past two years. The dossier tantalized Mr. Trump’s opponents with a worst-case account of the president’s conduct. And for those trying to make sense of the Trump-Russia saga, the dossier infused the quest for understanding with urgency.

This is yet another example of bias-by-omission as we all know if there was a piece of fiction written about Hillary Clinton, you’d never hear anyone from the media say the “Times and many other news organizations published little about the document’s unverified claims”. There would be Clintonistas on cable news vociferously defending on any panel slot available, any time of day or night, and hundreds of op ed contributions dropped from every willing publication pushing back at the details of such claims and the author(s) would be made an international pariah.

BUT… none of that ever happened.

After Mr. Trump emerged as the likely nominee, Fusion GPS kept working but turned to a new source of funding: the law firm representing the Clinton campaign, Perkins Coie. Noticing in May 2016 the Trump campaign’s unexpected affinity for Russia, Fusion hired Mr. Steele, a veteran of Britain’s MI6 intelligence agency, to dig deeper. Mr. Steele has told acquaintances that he did not know the ultimate client was the Clinton campaign.

Bullshit.

This is also around the time that Hillary Clinton internals showed the sickly, shrieking harpy wasn’t going to win the election, thus the need for an insurance policy to damage Trump down the stretch or even better, once he won cast real doubt on his legitimacy to serve as president.

Daniel Hoffman, a former C.I.A. officer who served in Moscow, said he had long suspected the dossier was contaminated by Russian fabrications. The goal, he said, would be to deepen American divisions and blur the line between truth and falsehood.

#FakeNews.

“How many times have hearings on Capitol Hill used information from the dossier?” Mr. Hoffman said. “How much damage has it already caused?”

The damage sadly, but expectedly, was done.

What’s missing now, and what will be missing until the next dragged-kicking-and-screaming media moment occurs, is how much of this former President Obama knew. As we’ve been told hundreds of collective times during his eight years in office was how smart Obama is. If that’s the case either he knew and that was bad, or he had a bunch of rogue law enforcement officials conducting a silent coup behind his back, and the fact he didn’t know that was happening was worse.

Again, the ONLY reason we know as much as we know is because Hillary lost. Had she won the presidency, federal government agencies would have seemingly perfected their weaponization against Republicans, it would have happen again anytime a Democrat candidate felt threatened, and the American people would never know an unelected select few would have more power over us than we’d ever imagine.

And let’s not forget what else this will reveal, right Great Britain?

This is the very definition of #FakeNews. The media puts something out, in error or intentionally, their activist guests lie on CNN and come clean on MSNBC, millions consume it and the damage is done.

Ana Maria Archila and Maria Gallagher were the two women who confronted Flake inside the elevator. Perhaps because they expressed such raw emotion, few media outlets dug into their political activism. Archila is an executive director of the Center for Popular Democracy; she had spent the previous week in Washington engaged in protests against Kavanaugh. Gallagher is a 23-year-old activist with the group. The center is a left-wing group heavily funded by George Soros’ Open Society Foundations. Indeed, as of 2014, Open Society was one of the three largest donors to the group.

Make no mistake. The Center for Popular Democracy is at the heart of the effort to stop Kavanaugh. A source forwarded to me an email sent from the organization: “Last week, you saw protestors interrupting the Kavanaugh hearings, trying to slow it down and show the Judiciary Committee how much they/we care. Those protests were organized by the Women’s March and the Center for Popular Democracy and other groups.”

Archila has another role beyond her duties as co–executive director of the center. She is also a member of the national committee of the New York-based Working Families Party. The WFP was founded in 1998 by the leaders of ACORN, the now-disbanded and disgraced group of community organizers.
