While the Republican Party was founded as an abolitionist party of slavery in the United States, the modern day Democrat left has taken every opportunity to label them and all conservatives as racist; a smear that has had them on an almost daily defensive since. The left doesn’t need any help, but earlier this month they got some.

Patrick Howley “as of 2020 was writing for National File. He is the former editor-in-chief of Big League Politics, and in 2019, he worked as a freelancer for the Epoch Times.” He’s still currently listed as a “political reporter” for the Daily Caller. It would be correct for him to be labeled as a “right wing” author, but it’s clear he doesn’t speak for all of us.

Once AGAIN, Howley’s exposed the problem where so many with access to megaphones are undisciplined or in some cases, poorly-vetted infiltrators who smell generous conservative donations and proximity to power where little else (by way of actual skills and/or previous accomplishments) was required. In some cases, their lack of class and/or racism internally is a plague they’ve successfully kept hidden to this day while profiting off the unwitting base.

And as far as his assertion that “Sorry to say, but so many Black celebrities who have nothing to do with country music and it’s like — why?”, while that may be true as far as the Hollywood shallow goes and an over-the-top attempt has been made to make country music woke, to basically say blacks don’t like country music is something that could be challenged.

Not that it’s my favorite genre by any means, but the very first concert I attended was The Allman Brothers Band in 1972 at the Boston Garden. Southern rock could be considered an offshoot of country and I really, really doubt that while an obvious minority, I was not the only black person there that night, starting with one of the band’s two drummers.

Context.

Not sure how Howley will deal with his latest bout of notoriety but given our past experience with him, let’s just say the hole can be dug a lot deeper….

There are many conservatives who dutifully work behind-the-scenes to advance causes and push back against liberal policies and laws they deem harmful. Unfortunately, there are also a lot of people who’ve just discovered an issue, are outraged, post a rant on social media, and become an overnight sensation. One would want to believe their intentions are sincerely about an issue, but in the instant-gratification world we live in, coupled with audiences that are quick to show praise without examining possible motivation, we’re now being inundated with narcissists who believe they have something to say; something we’ve never heard about until they came along and now want to be the next Moses to take us all to the Promised Land.

This Tweet really sums it up.

Note the arrogance here as Lutchman assumes, despite his limited life-experience (he’s 23), “No one is talking enough about the left’s racial discrimination of black conservatives!” and there are “many other issues” HE wants to bring to the forefront. Newsflash: many have been talking about this for decades. Obviously, he just hasn’t been led by the hand and shown where to look.

But he’s not alone, the motivations are almost totally self-serving, and Fox News is the Holy Grail to many in the movement because it can now literally lead to a job in and around the Trump White House, even though some fought against him during the 2016 presidential primary.

We sadly know many conservatives who are issue-illiterate because if they didn’t see it on Fox News, it never happened. What’s worse are those who know what the conservative media believes their audience prefers and are quick to oblige.

If Mr. Lutchman was really paying attention, he’d know his chances of making it anywhere near FNC are pretty low because he’s probably not very secure walking in six-inch heels. If he does get an opportunity to appear, it will be about one topic and one topic only: race, and those opportunities will be limited to a specific, breaking event.

But this is not at all just about black conservatives by any means. There are many out there whose overall goal is not just the mission but personal stardom, at least stardom as they personally define it.

As a guest and studio supervisor for on-air talent who appeared via remote “drop”, getting on Fox News was an overrated experience. You’re only on for less than four minutes and much of that time is the host setting up the segment to the audience and then giving his or her opinion, leaving that person steered into saying he or she agrees with the host as often as possible.

But if it’s all about being famous and becoming the latest conservative “it”, go for it and don’t expect everyone to blindly go into seal-clap mode. In the case of those who’ve just discovered black conservatism, they will find all the praise they desire on Facebook and Twitter.

Doing something that really makes a difference?

Uh oh. That’s too hard and it’s clear some wouldn’t even know where to start.

Just last January, unelected conservative “leaders” decided to come out and tell US who we should not support, based on their self-serving definition of what is conservative. As Donald Trump was whittling down the field of Republican candidates, instead of trying to understand his overwhelming appeal to and his expanding the Republican base in ways unseen in the party’s history, a small group of so-called conservatives believed they were right to publicly tear down the frontrunner because he just didn’t meet their qualifications.

Seriously, who were THEY to “stop Trump” and deny him the nomination?

NONE of them have ever run for office and take all that comes with it. Instead of sticking their own necks out, it was much easier for them to stick their hands out and suck off a movement none of them created but were eager to personally profit off of.

Many worked behind-the-scenes to plot was to steal the delegates on the run-up to the RNC Convention in Cleveland. They could give a shit about the voices of millions around the country who remained loyal to Donald Trump as he earned more votes than any Republican in our party’s history.

THEY knew better and were very comfortable with nullifying our votes for the sake of party “purity”. Some even threatened to vote for the eventual Democrat nominee as we didn’t get our minds right and take our orders from them.

Some openly talked down to and/or mocked us.

While we can’t say for sure, some of these conservatives did come around after the RNC Convention and Trump’s accepting the party nomination, not because they had that “Come to Jesus moment” but because further opposition may have started to hit their all-important donor base and if it’s a case of their “principles” or money, what do you think would win?

Almost every one of the principled conservatives hit Fox News and began defending Donald Trump from the liberal media onslaught, at times feigning faux purity when the left dug deep into the mud. But they assumed Trump supporters were so stupid and forgetful, they could now appear to have had his back all along and it was now their job to remind us as well.

There is a #NeverTrump shit list for a reason and it remains relevant to this day.

If we’re to be fair and are dismissing the liberal media because they colluded with Hillary’s campaign, we should also dismiss the conservative media that also worked against Donald Trump but can now hide behind the convenience of being Republicans.

We all are entitled to our opinions and candidates must make their case to get our votes. But to attempt to rig an outcome behind our backs and now act like they were always one of us…?

This is yet another reason why God gave us middle fingers.

It’s clear some males in the conservative movement prefer a certain profile of so-called “conservative” public female; a profile that Ms. “Christian” Dana Loesch has appeared to have no problem exploiting for her own financial gain. As she’s proven, repeating “Jesus”, wearing a low-cut “red dress” have worked very well for her (heels, push-up bra, false eyelashes and a gun are good substitutes for “over-sprayed bleach blond hair”). Is calling a woman Loesch knew endured a double-mastectomy “flat-chested” an official conservative form of expression we’ve missed?.

Some of us are quite secure in our conservative activism (going back to the 1996 Keyes campaign) without rudely shoving it in people’s faces and delegitimizing others simply because they believe uniting for Donald Trump (and NOT voting for Hillary in protest) is the best logical conservative tactic.

And as far as her work “in the trenches”, Loesch should recall this little passage in the Bible she conveniently clings to about those “workers in the vineyard”.

Dana Loesch’s classless hypocritical rant could hardly be considered anything a true conservative “Christian” woman should be proud of. Over the years we’ve met and worked with many genuine Republicans who’ve done some of the very things Loesch constantly reminds us all she’s done, and have given more of their time and personal funds without the expectation of personal fame and/or financial gain.

Then again, as we ARE talking about Dana Loesch, her response would probably be “I bet you love me now.”

She clearly has no issues with self-esteem.

The #NeverTrump Know-it-Alls Owe Us A Sincere Apology

Of course, we’re talking about the division within the Republican Party because of the presidential candidacy of Donald Trump. The one talking point repeated by most is that he “can’t be bought”. There’s more to that.

Campaign Leeches

You’d have to live close to The Beltway to understand how the Donald Trump campaign has upset the standard operating procedure of Washington, D.C. and the consultant, political operative class. The easiest way to describe the filth that exists here is with an analogy.

Let’s say we’re talking about the NFL Playoffs and on a given weekend, eight teams played and four were defeated; their season ended. What would we be saying about the dedication and loyalty to the fans if players on the losing teams started sending their resumes to the teams that were beating them before the game was even over? That NEVER happens in sports but it DOES in politics because these staffers have no loyalty to a candidate or his or her supporters; ONLY to themselves and how much donor cash they can suck into their own bank accounts.

That’s why we saw Reagan-Bush people working on the McCain campaign, Reagan-Bush-McCain people working on the Romney campaign, and now Reagan-Bush-McCain-Romney people working on today’s campaigns, not to mention all of the other primary loser’s people.

That is, except on the Trump campaign.

Donald Trump has dared use his own money and selected a team from people he obviously knows and trust; not from the large pool of proven, experienced win-or-losers who care more about the paycheck than the the American people, and THAT is one reason why the establishment hates Trump. He hasn’t opened his checkbook to them as he was supposed to.

And that brings us to…

Conservative Media ‘Leaders’

We have all these so-called “conservative” leaders who no one elected, have never run for a political office (thus really sticking their necks out), defining conservatism as they so deem, and anyone who dares not follow their lead will incur their wrath, for all that’s really worth.

So, who the hell are THEY?

Has any one of you ever voted for Dana Loesch to be a “leader”? How about Erick Erickson or Brent Bozell or Katie Pavlich or Jenny Beth Martin or Rich Lowry, as well as any of the others who work at glorified, top-heavy nonprofit blogs dependent on big money donors or the charitable donations of retirees?

NOTE: We don’t mean to dash any inflated egos but there are tens of millions of good Republicans out there who’ve never heard of RedState, the Media Research Center, Townhall, the Heritage Foundation, National Review, and/or the myriad of self-important blogs that believe they are oh-so influential with Republican politicians.

Do Mark Levin, Glenn Beck, Michael Medved, or Hugh Hewitt remember what happened to the Oprah Winfrey empire once she publicly chose sides with the black guy and rubbed it in the face of her audience members that supported the white woman? To say her empire tanked without recovery would be an understatement, and the arrogance of these so-called conservatives to believe the audience they presently insult will beg to come back home once the general election dust clears is .

I believe Rush Limbaugh remembers, which is why he’s observing the competition and not favoring one opponent over another.

They Believe They’re Immune From Backlash

Self-anointed conservative leaders sure believe they’re your representatives and have come right out and said that anyone who supports Donald Trump is an ignoramus, has mental issues, or worse. Mark Levin arrogantly continues to rant for Ted Cruz, redefining conservatism and rewriting the creds of Ronald Reagan, hoping his listeners won’t know they’re being played.

Some of these blogs and/or nonprofits hit up Donald Trump for money, were turned down, and are having a collective “tude” whenever possible on Fox News, because knowing some of them as I do (as well as their “conservative” convictions), had they received that big check from The Donald, their tune would be 180 degrees opposite.

The unelected “conservative” leaders are as intolerant as black Democrats who banish family members who (oh, Lawd) rebel and vote Republican and feel justified in using the taboo racial slurs against them. A vote for someone who hasn’t paid his dues and spread donor money to the party leech apparatus is misguided, and anyone who votes Trump is thought to be unworthy of intellectual consideration and is insulted on-air with the arrogance conservatives have attacked liberals about for years.

The presidential campaign of Donald Trump has turned the sunlight on the process. Not only are we witnessing the attempt by the Republican Party (and their has-beens) to nullify the will of the people, we are seeing the political whore class exposed for the disloyal, money grubbers they are.

Donald Trump is NOT with the refined, scripted, phony consultant-class program, is still winning, and that just pisses them off, while millions of others are delighted that “change” isn’t something exclusive to the left.

As a public service, Donald Trump didn’t give the leeches his money. Taken as a declaration of war by the campaign staff class, the Republican donor class has poured millions of dollars into these bruised-egos and their value (or lack their of) is being revealed to the world.

So, let the RNC and the others try and meddle with the will of the people. You KNOW, Mr. Trump has an app ready for that and he’ll make sure it hurts.

Who are these conservatives to decide if that “road to Damascus, a transformation” is legit or not, and how long it should be? Are we talking a five-day waiting period, a week, a year? Some of us were previously Democrats and while we may not have been politically active before, does that disqualify us now as conservatives and did we miss something in not sending our applications for admission to the conservative movement to Mark Levin and Dana Loesch?

Ronald Reagan is in receipt of the adoration of those who are either bloviating from ignorance or arrogant deception.

Donald Trump is allowed to convert to conservatism and he doesn’t need to be vetted by those would quickly compromise their conservative values for a sizable donation.
