Call it yet the latest example of the taxpayer-funded steamroller, called our Just Us Department: a steamroller that can ruin lives during investigations that increase federal prosecutor profiles on their way up the chain. We’re witnessing in real time an underbelly of our government that would’ve been sight unseen had Hillary Clinton won the presidency: the push to enforce the unregistered foreign agent law that many well-connected are even bothered with.
It’s not like the senator from New Hampshire is the first to talk with authority on a topic while clearly knowing little of what he or she is talking about.
While shoring up her conclusion that had it not been for Russian interference in our election by posting misleading stories online that made millions of people just up and decide to switch their election day vote from Hillary Clinton to Donald J. Trump, she’s taking particular aim at Russia Today; that evil propaganda arm of Vladimir Putin’s Kremlin who rains down #fakenews on us confused citizens who can’t differentiate what we get from RT and the real stuff we get from CNN, the NBCs, New York Times, etc. She wants to play games with freedom of the press with her “Foreign Agents Registration Modernization and Enforcement Act” which she claims would provide the DOJ with “new and necessary authority to investigate potential violations of the Foreign Agents Registration Act by RT America.”
Do you think, if asked, Senator Shaheen would have an issues with the politics of “progressive” talk show hosts Thom Hartmann, former MSNBC show host Ed Schultz, or the dean of cable news interviewers Larry King? Would she call any of them anti-American stooges of the Kremlin, pushing propaganda that ultimately coerced coherent Americans to vote against Hillary?
Does Shaheen even know who is on RT’s evening American lineup?
Think about the sad position the arrogant Senator Shaheen has put these liberal hacktivists in.
They never responded.
