Why has the Democrat-media and their left been on the offensive#Resistance against Donald Trump ever since he won the Republican nomination, the presidency and ever since? Yes, it’s because they can’t accept the fact someone they didn’t authorize won the hearts and minds of Americans they failed to dissuade.
Not even 48 hours after Democrats retook the House of Representatives, MoveOn liberals took to the streets on the United States to protest the resignation of Attorney General Jeff Sessions (who they suddenly see value in?) and his interim replacement, Matthew Whitaker.
Hundreds of Mueller protection protests have been organized nationwide to push back against Donald Trump’s recent authoritarian moves and assert: Nobody is above the law.
— MoveOn Facebook video, 11/8/17
The danger is that Sessions’ resignation could pave the way to firing special counsel Robert Mueller, who’s leading the Russia investigation. This is how it works: AG Sessions should have overseen the Mueller investigation, but since he recused himself, the investigation went to deputy attorney general Rod Rosenstein. That’s already changing – the new AG will take over the Mueller investigation and thus, have the power to fire Mueller. Firing Mueller for anything other than wrongdoing would be illegal – but Trump seems to have no regard for the law.
— ACLU petition, 11/8/18
Despite not having the power to do so, Democrats have deemed themselves the only ones to select the nest United States Attorney General; NOT the President of the United States.
What too many ACLU and MoveOn’s supporters don’t realize is that they’re being used to cover up the many abuses by pro-Hillary personnel in the DOJ and FBI who did everything they could to thwart the election of Donald Trump and disrupt his transition and presidency. Once the truth of the failed Democrat coup is finally revealed to the American people, all hell will break loose and no taking to the streets will undo the damage they attempted.
There was a very biased culture when it comes to the investigations of the 2016 Donald J. Trump campaign and so-called “Russian collusion”: political bias within the Federal Bureau of Investigation as well as those conducting the special counsel investigation. It was obviously very embarrassing to the FBI and the director offered the following assurances (in the aftermath of the Inspector General report) to the American people that the agency will make every attempt to conduct further business in a professional, non-biased manner… an assurance one would think never had to be made.
Because change starts at the top—including right here with me—we’re going to begin by requiring all our senior executives, from around the world, to convene for in-depth training on the lessons we should learn from today’s report. Then we’re going to train every single FBI employee—new hires and veterans alike—on what went wrong, so those mistakes will never be repeated.
We’re going to make sure we have the policies, procedures, and training needed for everyone to understand and remember what’s expected of us.
That includes: Drilling home the importance of objectivity—and of avoiding even the appearance of personal conflicts or political bias in our work.
— Christopher Wray, FBI Director, 6/14/18
We’ve heard this all before. A government agency and/or employee runs afoul of the rules and we’re all assured that agency or person receives the appropriate retraining. We decided to inquire as to what kind of in-depth training would be conducted, WHO would be composing the training syllabus and WHO would be presenting the anti-bias training to employees. We thought this a reasonable request seeing how the American people would not only be affected by those “trained” agents but taxpayers would also be paying for the physical materials and paying those who’ll be administering the “training” to FBI personnel around the world.
We sent a Freedom of Information Act request to the FBI and received the following response….
So, the same FBI that had agents sending highly-biased text messages between them (that we only found out about because of an internal investigation) is now telling us their remedies won’t be made public in the interest of “national defense or foreign policy”?
The following is the FBI’s attached reasoning and justification.
We won’t know what the FBI will be teaching their senior executives down through the ranks, on foreign soil and domestically. We won’t know WHO will be doing the teaching of this anti-biased training… any number of our favorite social justice activists, a contractor from the Southern Poverty Law Center, the ACLU, etc.?
The American people will just have to take their word for it… again.
After five-plus hours in front of the House Select Intelligence Committee, FBI Director James Comey and NSA Director Admiral Michael Rogers basically confirmed Russian president Vladimir Putin didn’t like Hillary Clinton (like he’s special), they knew of no wiretapping of the Trump Tower (which doesn’t mean it didn’t happen), and after five months there was still no proof of an effect of Russian “meddling” in our 2016 presidential election.
What we do know is that alphabet agencies leaked classified information about an American citizen under possibly illegal surveillance to the many media entities which published the name of that citizen and the FBI director acknowledged that persons committed a felony, but trust him that an investigation that he can’t talk about is happening, although he can’t confirm it.
Of course, we’ll be assured our investigation and intelligence agencies are not politicized, but money talks.
Employees of the Department of Justice, which investigated Clinton’s use of a private email server while she was secretary of State, gave Clinton 97 percent of their donations. Trump received $8,756 from DOJ employees compared with $286,797 for Clinton. From IRS employees, Clinton received 94 percent of donations.
— The Hill, 10/26/16
Leaks meant to disrupt the Trump agenda from government employees who’ve chosen a political side instead of doing their job.
Nah, nothing to see here.
